Whatever she's done in her personal life is her business. I think she has a pretty cool sense of humor. She actually laughed a lot during this Drink Champs episode so I don't think she's always serious. Respect, though; you're entitled to your opinion.

Although she has rapper as a title, Lauryn Hill was more viewed as a singer, different music. It’s also a different time. Hardcore female rappers was the trend back in the 90s and early 2000. It’s no longer the trend now. These labels believe the light skinned black women are more "marketable" than the dark ones, and/or the likes of Megan Stallion showing asses. It hurts me to right it but it’s the sad reality.
I just hope our queens don’t buy into it and stay true to themselves.

I didn’t realize that either I thought she had 3 Solo albums for some reason. One Platinum and the other two Gold just because of how the current markets would respond to her sound but also her respect in the industry not to mention her undeniable talent. 6 years in jail is the equivalent of 3 eras in Hip Hop and really music as a whole.
