In GGG's eyes, a character with 20k armor and w/e life you get from your equipment is equivalent to a character with 20k ES and the same life. However, in practice, this is completely different; the ineffectiveness of armor and evasion compared to a raw HP pool is significant, and that is evident from the wide gap between life and ES builds at the moment. This also happened during closed (or maybe open) beta of PoE 1 back when CI used to give 50% MORE energy shield :)

There's no excuse for the no ES thing being a minor affliction either. Not when they have Chaos Inoculation in the game. That's like making "lose all but 1 health" a minor affliction.
@@drisraptor2992 nah bro, I was having about 40% honour res and alot of good boons(more damage, less enemy life, ms, less enemy damage, less enemy action speed) and in 4 floor I just got oblitirated by range cast mobs just cause even with less action speed theyre attacking faster than me being warrior that uses Sunder. I especially liked the giant mobs that are not stunned from one hit and that theyre body blocking me in escape trials. 4 floor is pure hell for melee build with no shield.
With rarity now affecting even currency drops The game is gonna be absolutely dominated by IIR items That Ultimatum shield alone takes IIR to obscene levels

It’s corrupted (Vaal orb). Has a chance to give a 5th slot but you can’t alter the body armpit any longer. Also corruption has a chance to turn the item into a random rare item. So gamble at your own risk.

Wrong people to talk about 6 portals. If you only get 1 chance to experience a boss fight, and you have no idea what the boss does, well too bad, you got randomly one shot. Mapping and getting randomly one shot, too bad you lose it all.
These streamers don't realize we don't all have 14 hours a day to play the game, and maybe when you don't have that much time to play the game because you don't make a living off it, this 1 portal mechanic feels like shit. And death is unavoidable no matter how much resist you build because you will inevitably die to some random death effect or as you say, boss you never encountered.
Bosses I see the argument. Maybe just boost the drops if you do it on one portal. But making it so characters have "6 portal defense" again is just bad design. Exactly as Alks said, it will reward people completely ignoring defenses for movement speed, damage and magic find. Furthermore it will actually punish players who decide to build defenses. That was always my biggest issue with Poe 1 and ultimately pushed me into playing HC only.

Hi. Putting blink on my second weapon slot made the sanctum level 4 an easy endeavour. Support the blink with Second Wind to have 2 charges and you will have no problems in the 4th Sekhema's trial.
Uniques are bad and useless. One life maps and all the punishment with it is bad. One boss try is bad. etc. The game is amazing, but it needs a lot of changes.

es is maybe powerfull on the surface but if your really fighting stuff (not talking about minion builds) you dont have any way too regen your es you literally have to take no damage for like 3-5sec or somehting to start the recharge and than recharge it, i really hate that there is no way to get some %es regen or even some flat es regen just SOMEHTING. its so bad in like a breach for example that just spawns monsters on you, you have to run away from the mobs if u wanna regen its so bad .. i died with 14k es in a breach, really slow to really low damage .. u ether have to stun or oneshot anything otherwise u cant regen. i dont even wanna play es but im a sorc so im forced to play es ..

Bosses in dark souls you kill them one time per run, arpgs bosses are meant to be FARMED multiple times. The sense of accomplishment just doesn't work in that scenario, it disappears. I hope GGG finds a good balance difficulty wise so bosses have some fair challenge, but i also hope they never listen to streamers in that regard.
Most of dark souls bosses you can also retry with max 30 sec run back, not 3 days of farming to get one tapped in 10 seconds. I like the idea, they just need to balance it better
Imagine 2 guys that have the game as their source of income coping that the the game is actually good and is really enjoyable, when the game is so full of issues, some of them core issues and is inferior to PoE 1 in anything but art, graphics and sound design.

I'm lvl 94 and lvl 89 and didn't find a single citadel yet. Made me quit the game.
I will never understand people that want dark souls like bosses in arpgs, it just doesn't work. Bosses in dark souls you kill them one time per run, arpgs bosses are meant to be FARMED multiple times. The sense of accomplishment just doesn't work in that scenario, it disappears.
I hope GGG finds a good balance difficulty wise so bosses have some fair challenge, but i also hope they never listen to streamers in that regard.
not for UBER PINNACLE bosses, they should be that hard and soulslike. literally hella builds just one tap em rn
It literally does work. PoE bosses are the best part of the game. That is 100% not going to change so learn to like it.
Most of dark souls bosses you can also retry with max 30 sec run back, not 3 days of farming to get one tapped in 10 seconds. I like the idea, they just need to balance it better

Imagine 2 guys that have the game as their source of income coping that the the game is actually good and is really enjoyable, when the game is so full of issues, some of them core issues and is inferior to PoE 1 in anything but art, graphics and sound design.
