    My iRacing career started on mouse and keyboard, and in my first month, managed to rack up 4 wins on rookie oval. Because of financial reasons, I only subscribed for a month at that time, but by the time I came back, I had a non-force feedback wheel, and I don't remember how many more wins I got after that, but that helped me become more consistent and what brought me out of the Rookie series.

    It's got nothing to do with NOT affording a wheel, I simply don't want one because they are noisy and take too much room. And I don't want to sit in a freaking racing sim seat when I want to play civilization. Surely if I could afford $2k GPU for my PC, I can afford at least decent wheel.
    I often play after work, between midnight and 3am. I have a wife and family, I want to keep it quiet at night. And I enjoy playing games on controller. I play flight aims too, so should I now go out and purchase whole get up for that?

    • @danielsquillace5291
      @danielsquillace5291 Год назад

      As a controller player myself I actually think ovals are harder than circuits. Holding a sustained large radius turn on a thumbstick is super hard and a big strain on the thumb. Shorter road course turns where you are only leaning on the stick for a shorter period I find much easier.
