I tried this on about 2 weeks ago. The size corresponds to the stated one, but if you will use an airbag, then take a size larger. Rubberized inserts in the neck, sleeves and legs, level 2 protection, which for Alpinstars is an incredible jump over the abyss. (It's high time to put level 2 in all overalls), double lining, the airbag gets stuck, and the straps help to put it on. In general... this is a VERY well-thought-out overall with many new features at an adequate price. This is Alpinestars absolute v2 at a minimum. I think this suit will sell VERY well.
We really like this suit. Our favorite feature is the ability to zip the Tech Air 7x in between the inner liner and the shell of the suit. Max and I have both ridden in the Racing Absolute Suit which allows the Tech Air Race to be zipped in behind the liner (same as the GP-R7) and love that feature. - Van
Hi Brian and Max, I'm considering upgrading my old suit and back protector with this new suit combined with the Tech air 7x. I don't ride on track and most of my riding includes stops to restaurants and short walks in the country side. During these stops, I would usually take the top of the suit off (arms and torso) and eat at restaurant with the legs of the suit still on me and the back protector on a side chair. Same for walks, I would take off the top of the suit and walk around with the torso and arms of the suit dangling behind my legs. I like the idea of fitting the 7x airbag under the lining of the suit at it's one thing less to put on and off every time. But from a practical standpoint, would that be smart to do so as I imagine it would be unpractical to seat in a restaurant with the top of the suit off and the airbag still in as I assume I wouldn't be able to sit properly on a chair. Would that also be unpractical to walk around with the top off and the airbag dangling around behind my legs? Thanks in advance for your advice.
I do not see this working well using it the way you described you would. For the type of riding you are doing I feel like a 2 piece suit (jacket and pants) is the way to go. If you want to add an airbag to that you could have a look at the Tech Air 5 or the Tech Air 7x. Either of those can be worn as a stand alone vest under any jacket that has enough stretch panels to allow for a deployment. If you want more information or help please shoot an email to maxvan@sportbiketrackgear.com and he will get you all sorted out. - Van
Sizing between these suits is very similar. For focused help sizing up a new suit please shoot Max Van an email on maxvan@sportbiketrackgear.com and he will get you all sorted out. - Van
As much as I enjoy watching STG's videos. Van and max need to add a bit of comic relief, am sure there are some terrible dad jokes that can be sprung in there :)
We do not have any plans of reviewing Dainese gear. There is very little interest in it from our customer base and I feel like we have plenty of suit options that are all as good or better. - Van
2:37 I want mine to be perf’d 😂 Max just trying to help us out lol
This is a nice suit that is perf'd like a mother f*cker... - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear We all want that airflow
Thanks for the video! Would love to see another showing the actual integration of the tech7 into the suit.
We will look into shooting a video where we install airbag in the suit. - Van

SOLID! LOVE IT! 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯
Thank you for watching! - Van
I would agree with Max, perforations to air out the cojones’is important. 😂
This kid has issues...
Hi There, Suit loooks awesome... I got a 52. I'm 5-11 185 lbs and its tight tight, might need to size up
We all have our own preference for fit. If you feel the 52 is too restrictive go up to the 54. - Van
Compared to other models in the similar price range such as GP ignition and GP plus v4, what’s your thought plz
I would go with this one over the others you noted. The other suits are good, this one is better IMO. - Van

How would you compare this with the GP Tech V4?
Sizing between these suits is very similar. For focused help sizing up a new suit please shoot Max Van an email on maxvan@sportbiketrackgear.com and he will get you all sorted out. - Van
What would you choose between the Missile V2 and the GP R7 and why? Also, is the speed hump protruding out more in the R7 compared to the Missile V2?
Will the Tech Air Race zip in and velcro in?
The Tech Air Race will zip in, but you will not have the LED panel in the arm. - Van
Why doesn't it have a tb protector?

If you have a problem you should check out Gold Bond Powder. - Van
Max the mannequin VAN!!!!!!
Somebody has to wear the suit LOL. Thanks for watching! - Van
Brian basically cloned himself.
I did make him from scratch 19 years ago. - Van
Nobody cares about that.
Mate come do a 36 degree day at phillip island and tell me nobody cares about how the family jewls are perfed 😂
All of the stretch material in the crotch of the suits flows plenty of air to keep the family jewels cool. - Van
