From an old man who scratches his wrists. Cheers Ted You gave me lots of videos to watch while I recovered from survey and renewed my interest in shooting. Cheers mate take care
Fantastic to see and hear from you. I just picked up 3 M3's from Trenier Outdoors, all .22, two Sniper and one 600mm (added a 580cc bottle as well). Really looking forward to your tunes, class is in session ! Thank You Ted.
Finally you are back. Bought a crown mk2 .22 500mm and recieved it a month ago. The weather here in north of sweden is realy bad right now for shooting so will have to wait for next year. I just enjoy new content from you until then
Wow, excellent! Really appreciate your knowledge & honesty, very rare in today's population, also your willingness to share your hard work with the rest of the impact community, best of luck to you and your future!
Hi Ted love watching your videos, about 10 years ago I started to get back to airguns and immediately when I went to RUclips to educate myself I was lucky enough to find you! You still my favorite guy! Anyway I didn't know what rabbit hole I was going down but nice to know there are others as crazy about this hobby as I am. Have a great day Ted!

Always good news when I see anther Ted post! I get worried when I don't see you post for months at a time. Hey man, were the same age and if you are just now needing readers, you're in good shape. Wish I only needed 1.25's. I need 2.0's to keep from getting headaches doing detailed stuff. Good to hear from you again.
Wow you are back i cant wait for all you knowledgeable info on the M3 because of you and all your videos i bought the M3 i first started out with the Benjamin armada .25 and than had to have the Impact M3 .30/ .25
Ted you are a rock star!! You are appreciated for sure! I really appreciate all the time you take to do the testing and all the editing of your videos. There is no way I could find the time and be able to afford to buy all the different ammo and test. You save us all a lot of time and money and I thank you for all your hard work.
My relatively early MK2 had a superior liner without the big port. Same for my early Maverick. I bought the HUMA ports and I had an excellent improvement of about 20 FPS each. I also was able to lower my regulator to 105 bar on the Impact (22 with 700mm) and 90 bar on my Maverick 22 with 700. A HUGE improvement on the MK2 was the HUMA bottle regulator. It levels the field. I only shoot benchrest shoot and I saw you @ RMAC! Keep up with the good work. You have always helped me, especially think outside the box.
Ted you were the individual that got me into Airguns! I bought a Impact because of you in 2016. It was in central Michagan at shop that owner had been in the industry since smooth rocks propelled from the bottle made of rubber then called a ballon. He knew you and said he competed against you many many years ago.. just for that I asked for a autograph that said I know Ted…lol. Your genuine approach to whatever your doing is what keeps many of us excited yet comfortable to learn the things you share !! I’m a corporate pilot and the next time anywhere close to you .. I’ll trade a ride for a lesson in the ways the Michael Jordan of Airguns! Southern Oregon is home and if you make it here one day many will lay peddles at your feet,,
I love your style and incredible content. You share your thousands of hours of experience to all of us. In minutes, you convey months of experimentation. I am looking forward to seeing more.
i’m 47 & wear purevision multi-focal contacts & use bio true fluid. excellent combo that cures old eyes & the fluid keeps em soft & not plastic feelin. keep on rockin Ted 🇺🇸🤘😎 ps. scopin thru specs suuucks
Ted. you got me into PCP realm . Wow! it's been 12-13 years ago or maybe more and though I'm not a high end gun owner my pesting has certainly improved, Thanks for your continued sharing and Thank You for all you've contributed! Respectfully
We haven't seen you in a while either, thanks for posting and sharing your knowledge of the hobby with us ... I look forward to your next video.. Greg W.
Ted you are the coolest geek on you tube please don’t take this wrong way I’ve been watching you for years you are the reason I own two FX rifles the new wild cat and the latest Maverick. I didn’t know anything about pcps before I started watching you. Ted keep up the good work you are very entertaining. 47 years old you are still young I will be 60 in August.
Love the new magoo's, bold statement smarty guy. Love the intimacy, having you back online and looking fwrd to the next chat my friend. Peace on you and happy happy happy Thanksgiving.
Nice to see Ted all excited again. Just a thought though. A little less coffee before you make your videos. I had to rewind every few seconds just so for my brain to keep up with all that AWESOME, AWESOME stuff you're telling us. Lol Can't wait for your next video, and thank you Mr. Bier, sir.
So nice to see you back again Ted 🤓 I did a test of the STX and the STX Superior in 500 mm, while Im waiting for the 600 mm in .177. Huge improvement in accuracy! Waiting for the next video!
Was so glad to see you putting another video out! Can't wait for the next! Especially interested in .25. I have Maverick that likes the 29gr nielsens as well. More videos! More Ted!
It's good to see you again. I just bought my first pair of readers I don't need them but if I read for more than 30 minutes I start to get migraines so I'll take the precaution.
You're ALWAYS a breath of fresh air Ted. I'm so glad you picked up on what I've been saying about the sub 12 UK spec with reg pressures being low, believe about 54/60bar, i always felt the dual reg would be great for them. As for my Impact MK2 25cal, I have no plan or desire to change to the M3. Its currently on 150bar reg but able to go over 105 ftlb with ease. 😁 Looking forward to seeing the next video buddy
U.K. Sure listens hard to you. We missed your energy enthusiasm and what's going on in your head. Now get down the range with them and post the video. Keep making us smile, English Jim
Hey man. many Years ago you influenced me to purchase my first pcp a .22 discovery. After a maurader .25 and a divorce Im back in the game!! Ty man for influencing me years back. I'm now an owner of .457 with 500 plus ft/lbs and a semi auto .30 😁😁😁
Glad to see you Back Ted, I smoothed out and polished my stock pellet probe , I get better speed than the pin probe , I was surprised . I am also sold on the carbon fiber barrel sleeve, it makes a difference when I shoot the heavy slugs at higher speeds . Convert the old power adjuster to the M3 , it gives you a finer and linear adjustment . Totally agree , NSA is my only choice for slugs for my MK2 in consistency and price , also glad they moved out of Ca to Mo.
Good stuff. Good to see you posting and agreed re: the packaging of the fx slugs. I recently tried some if the zans and they come in a very similar package. Just box 'em ( nsa ) or tin 'em please.
Hey Ted, great technical review as always. My M3 manual says the roller on the quick tune system is to fine-tune speed once you've selected one of the 16 settings of the wheel. The way you put it sounded like the roller was the major setting? My M3 turned up factory set at 70bar on the second reg, 16 on the wheel, and about 3 on the roller (not checked the valve adjustor - it only arrived yesterday). At these settings it pushes jsb hades at 950fps. I'll try your 115bar for the hybrids - sounds good. What setting did you use on the Valve Adjuster? We need some kind of online list of M3 recipes to include: Caliber; Projectile; Liner style & length; 1st reg bar; 2nd reg bar; valve adjuster position; Wheel Number; Roller Position; velocity expectation.
Awesome video Ted thats why I like you because your a nice guy to share your secrets for making the gun shoot at its best. Not like your buddy Matt thats to good for everybody now and dont even answer in his comment section unless its another one of his FX CHRONIES. Thank you Ted, take care my friend.
Love it that you're back making content for us mere mortals Ted. I've learnt a lot over the years as a sub 12ftlb shooter in the UK, I'd say a decent percentage is from watching and learning from yourself. Thank you and keep up the amazing work 😎🤓
Glad your back and hope you and your are all good. I often wonder what do you use to fill your guns and tanks with…what compressor? I went through all your videos and couldn’t find anything on air sources used to keep your shooting. God bless.
Great video Ted lots of really good information I was wondering what all the hype was about between mark 2 and mark 3 was all about. An FX is likely in my future but for now I'll be working with the PCP'S rifles that I have newest one is my Benjamin Akela 22 caliber.

Great video and appreciate the details you always provide!
Hello Ted. Thankyou!!!
Aloha Ted. In paintball, when we made the switch to HPA (High Pressure Air) from CO2 (probably in the mid 90's), the reason we used double regulators was for better consistency. The output of a single regulator is inverse to the input pressure. So as you take shots and your tank pressure (input) drops, the output pressure of the regulator rises. In paintball, that increase in pressure would result in higher paintball velocities, often resulting in "hot gun" penalties (exceeding the maximum tournament/field allowable velocities) which would result in massive point losses or even expulsions or disqualifications. The second regulator would reverse the effects of the decreased input on the first regulator, so as the output of the first regulator spiked, it would cause the output of the second regulator (the final output) to drop, keeping velocities more constant. Of course all of this is assume you are operating within the nominal operating parameters of your air system. BTW love your channel. Don't have a PCP yet, but thanks to watching your videos over the years, I feel I have added a ton of knowledge to help me finally pull the trigger. Mahalo and keep up the great work.
