the clarity of this version really makes this more settling than with static and sounding like it was recorded on wax in 1910 edit: i also noticed another difference, the denoised version has a more prominent hi-hat that i couldn't notice on the other. must be a result of the lowpass and distortion that i couldn't detect it

The PSA was created by Long Island Regional Poison Control Center. The song was written by Nancy B. Ekberg, who voices the girl puppet IIRC. She was a musician who had the idea to use puppets to comfort children in the hospital, and this turned into creating various safety PSAs. She passed away in January of this year (2023).
