    You are damn right on the design part.. It's so important
    I've been to a lot of case study competitions and the ones who win are almost always the ones with the best infographics and charts (even though others convey the same thing with paragraphs) It just looks pleasant and makes life easier for the ones trying to understand what you've conveyed

    The collapse of Margin debt leads to a decrease in stock prices and trigger a wave of selling as investors try to cover their losses, Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? • @HotRailCo

    So much for a college degree. It seems experience outweighs the degree. I recently graduated with a degree in business finance but 99% of these companies require 2+ years of experience which is something I did not acquire unfortunately. I’ve done internships but nothing related to finance since at the time I was majoring in General Business. I could’ve done a certification program for data analysis instead of waste 4 years for a degree. The classes I’ve taken in college had so much useful information and material but it comes to no surprise, when you don’t use it in practice, you’ll forget the information.
    It was my fault for not taking an internship within finance in my last year of college
    (class of 2022) but if experience is everything then I don’t know what to look for. I’m completely lost right now. If there is anything that I can do, to be able to gain important skills needed and/or get my foot in the door, I am very open to anything at this point. I’ll continue to look for work for the time being.

    • @FinanceUnboxed
      @FinanceUnboxed  Год назад +3

      Hey, thanks for the message. Appreciate its a challenging situation to be in. After putting in a lot of hard work to get the degree, it's frustrating if that doesn't lead to where you want to go.
      I'd suggest on top of gaining any finance experience you can through internships, short term employment etc, also focus on building skills through training courses (online or in-person). By doing this you're showing your enthusiasm and drive to learn about Finance and improve your skill set. Best of luck 👍

    Great video! I have no experience in finance (I watched your previous video on this) but want to apply to a financial firm. Please may I ask two quick questions:
    1. How would I be able to assess their next steps for future growth based on current market news? - Would it be a case of looking at their historic gross margins and comparing this gross margin to the market trends and then looking at areas of market growth that they're not addressing or could address in another way?
    2. What's the best resource to find financial data? Bloomberg?

    • @FinanceUnboxed
      @FinanceUnboxed  2 года назад +1

      1. Yes both those are plausible ways
      2. Bloomberg, Financial Times are good for market info. Seeking Alpha is a good one for data, but it's paid. Google/Yahoo finance are pretty decent free alternatives

    I’m a freshman in Banking University in HCM City( Vietnam)
    My major is Finance
    After graduation, I’d like to undertake a position as Financial Analyst in a international Bank.
    So, in the first year curriculum, I must complete irrelevant subjects such as Philosophy, Psychology, Marx Lenin,...
    Currently, I don't have anything skills or knowledge about Financial major. I'm a nerd boy, a real bookworm and from a countryside.
    Can you give me an opportunity to ask that how can I work in Wall Street? Perhaps I think a University bachelor degree from the ecosystem education in Vietnam is a tough opportunity to work with experts from developed countries, from better educations.
