The best traditional jazz band alive! Thanks for giving them them the opportunity to be heard by a wider audience and for the professional quality video. Please post the rest of the session.
The Blues is "Untrue" and the Key is "VERY SPECIAL" >>>> A minor.
For Cornet > B minor! And the voice ....is Divine! And the Banjo sounds super.
What a great collection of artists in one band.
That 6 String banjo, gets straight to the heart of the matter, pure soul
Erika Lewis sings like a 1920s blues Diva. What more can we expect from the best New Orleans blues vocalist of today!
Maybe the best blues singer in the world!
Extremely Good !!!!
It's hard to beat Tuba Skinny!. Thanks for watching!
Just Wonderful !!!!!
Erika in full flight! Great banjo too!
Just fabulous! Love this song; perfect in this arrangement
Friends had alerted me to the incredible awesomeness of Tuba Skinny & I must say they do not disappoint.
This sound is honey to my mind...

Another iconic performance, so lovely, sigh.
What a joy. I love this band!
Listened to this on the day they played... Thank you for posting it; not often we get to see Ms. Lewis on washboard.
i've seen probably 200+ ts performances (on yt), this one is in my top 5
The Blind Boy Fuller original is one of my old time blues favorites but this is an incredible rendition!
Hunted down the one "dislike" and broke his thumbs.
hahaha go go lol
Need to get TS to Boston, Ma. area. We got Trombone Shorty. Now we got to get Tuba Skinny, my favorite band!
Great as always
Wow, Erika not just on guitar but now the washboard. :))
Alguien les transmitio a estos chicos que son maravilloso que nos llenan el alma de vida.
yeah fine! street singer you da best!
Marvellous !!!
Very Awesome ❤️🇩🇪👍
Great video!!!
Fabulous
Many thanks, Radio Bristol. The little eight-bar tune is possibly the simplest piece of music in Tuba Skinny's massive repertoire. So it seems they deliberately chose to put it in the key of A to make it just a little more challenging! Tuba Skinny also slip in a 13-bar Chorus (yes - 13!) from Jason at 01:08 and again at 02:55, just as Blind Boy Fuller did. This shows how respectful Tuba Skinny are of the original recordings and how scrupulously they revive them. When Tuba Skinny recorded this song on their 'Owl Call Blues' CD in 2014, they performed it in the key of G. Shaye was on violin for that recording and it was she who played the curious 13-bar Chorus.
Yes! Blind Boy Fuller would love this! 😁
Only one of my every good music
Stagalee !
simplemente bello.
The only improvement would have been if the tune had been longer. Unbelievably great. Just listened to it again; it is so..."real" is the best word.
Tuba Skinny and Aurora Nealand/Royal Roses and WWOZ................wonderful NOLA Trad Jazz..................
Yowzah I love my Tuba Skinny and not to knock all the other folks supplying video of Tuba Skinny but It's nice to see and hear them in a little more professional production.
I love all the different venues that they play and many thanks to all the folk that upload their videos . But if you want to see and hear them at their very best you really can’t beat the video produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Check it at this link. ruclips.net/video/ffXQ6qH3gwU/видео.html
As allways top
Ace
Блеск! Просто, но таким вкусом! Не хватает солиста. К примеру, Стаса Михайлова.
Fuck, that’s hot.
When was this recording made?
Think of an instrument Shaye doesn't play-and Erika does!
Thought this was Bristol, England. :S
Tennessee
nice name
Stackolee Blues ???
I really like Jason's banjo picking. I'm sorry he's no longer with the band.
He's the best. A family favourite.
Someone tell me if this is on spotify
Don't know for spotify but their tunes are available direct from the band, just google Tuba Skinny!
Where's Robin?
