how did it turn out? I am actually about to get a cutting that is just a stem cutting with some roots. I am worried because they told me that the mother plant had root rot and they had to cut it up and put it in hydrogen peroxide. So I am considering just planting it with a chunky mix like you did and see how it grows. I am not sure which method to do lol
Hello Hamza, I believe there are several ways to treating damaged plants. Unfortunately I cannot really say which one is better way as I haven't tried hydrogen peroxide or other ways but mine is except for one cutting, rest of them successfully made new shoots or healthy foliage now :) I'll try to update the feed on instagramand RUclips post by this week 👍
@@favourgreenau I am glad to hear and would like to see. I am considering to just put it in chunky soil like you did and just let it grow. Which one did you have best results with?
@@8_3_1_BALL Hello Hamza, sorry..! I confused that you left the comment on my last gloriosum propagation video..😅😅 In general, if I see the rotten root on the plant, I cut off the rotten part. Because, based on my experience, the rotten part is very hard to be recovered (I'm not even sure the rotten part can be even able to be recovered though) and it will continue to affect other parts. So far, I haven't struggled with gloriosum plant roots rotting, but when my piper plant root was rotten, I cut them off the rotten root, and put them in water to recover them. I'll try to find the video and put the link on here in a minute :)
how does yours grow so fast i bought mine for awhile now and its still not pushing any growth 🥺
Thank you..! Only things that I do is... water once a week and giving fertilizer about once a month... prob weather here might warmer... '-'?
Does it get enough light?
I would be interested in the 6 month starting at the point where this ended!
hello, Andrew. Thank you for the comment.! I'll film the update video this week and try to update by next week :)
