this whole video reminds me so much of coming home from school and having to help my mom make dinner, but any time she made molletes, i was so excited😂 we always made too many so i could have them the next day too 🤤
the mannerisms you have,Páti is sooooo welcoming ‼Some of the food you prepare reminds me of our mother cooking. She would make the cooking part a inviting experience & you do as well ❗
Hola Pati. Que sabrosos molletes, se me antojaron. Me fascinan sus recetas y extraño verla en tv. Que siga teniendo mucho exito en su vida. Saludos from AR
I didn’t know this had a name. My family uses French bread. I prefer extra sour. We cut it like you do and put butter on it. Then we add beans and jack cheese, black olives and then sliced jalapeños.
Love the content & love Pati J ! Series tips cooking all PBS & more. This is before the audio microphone upgrades *(I think)? It's difficult to watch "as is" can't hear nada. cero eschua. Thx PJ luv ur stuff
According to food writer Sharon Tyler Herbst, pico de gallo ("rooster's beak") is named thus because originally people ate it by pinching pieces between the thumb and forefinger.

I also recommend toasting the bread with butter before backing, adds lots of flavor. I love molletes with pico.

Molletes were my most favourite thing to eat back in Mexico. I miss them so much. This looks delicious! 😍

Pico de Gallo means a Rooster 🐓pecked it, when you chop tomatos 🍅 and onions like that it looks like a Rooster 🐓was the one chopped it with it's beak.
and what is the reason for cocktail?
