I'll never use it but I love Eric's innovation!
Thanks sir. It’s a double edged sword tho. Your insight has cost me a lot of money but I have improved in leaps and bounds.
Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the kind words.
Cool setup. Thanks for showing John.
Thanks John for the info
Now Eric needs to come up with a meplat trimmer for one of the stages to make it auto also. Feed bullet, meplat trim, point bullet, spit finished bullet out.
I can't speak to the meplat trimmer but I think you'll be excited to see some of the options he'll be bringing to this system in the near future. It's pretty cool.
I like the idea of spending my time with the reloading process as its like meditation to me.
But! gee where do all these gadgets that are coming out where is the end. I ain't got the money to spend like some of you guys my system is basic.
and I am happy with my results at the range.
That's slick!
Who has made that pointing die? Does not seem to be link here.
I don't have a Dillon press but want to do this on a single stage.
Yahoo, guess I’m not mowing the lawn for another 15 mins. Cheers from WA state.
Do you think there’s a benefit to having a soft landing for the bullets?
Really nice presentation. Well explained thank you. What is the cost of the whole set up
Here's the whole system www.shootsmallgroups.com/product/bullet-flow-system/ for pricing.
how long to set press up ?
it appears you should be pointing no less than 1k bullets otherwise it's very time consuming
there are guys who offer annealing services maybe they can expand and offer bullet pointing services.
Pre bday video :D
You probably Trim them first and then Point. Does this need sorting at all? I am about to order everything for pointing 6mm but am not sure if 6mm needs that at all. What do youn think?
THX!!
@@tobiastorsi no currently I sort them all and then point them accordingly but no trimming right now.
F Class John advertising!
Do you trim meplats as well?
Not currently, but it is some thing that I have done and will continue to test.
i wonder if there is any tip deformation from it coming out and landing in the bucket point down
Not that I’ve seen. I know others have been testing this long before I bought mine and have one several large matches.
@@FClassJohn nice. im not so much worried about the match winnings. ive seen people win with MINIMAL prep work to ammo. more just impressed by consistency of a process. glad to hear it works though. looks intriguing
@@TrevorCazes thank you and I totally agree. I’ve definitely been beat by people who just throw bullets in out of the box.
Thank you. Quick question: what bullet pointer do you use? Kinda odd that EC didn’t develop his own pointer and sell as a kit.
I use the Hoover. I’m guessing he didn’t because there’s already two really good pointer dies out there already.
John what is the die in the press
Accuracy One (Hoover) pointing die.
Which MBF conversion kit are you using? 30 cal or 6.5 mm?
30cal
So your not trimming meplat ?
With a bunch of other stuff I’ve been testing I have not been doing that lately. It doesn’t mean I don’t or that I don’t believe in it. It just means it isn’t part of my process right now while I test some other stuff.
