@Rudy Matteo thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
My grandmother taught me to crochet/sew during summer visits when I was 7 yrs old. I must have been a very patient little girl & her a patient teacher. she made beautiful blankets for the church. Those memories with her have stayed with me all my life.
Mini project ideas for ADHD folk like me who get bored. *Make big squares with each stitch. *Then make smaller chains. You can sew them together and make: *squares bandanas *Bags *Wash rags *blankets. V good for getting good at a single stitch without having a bunch of useless squares.
i'm so excited to start my first crochet in 2023. i've been wanting to start crocheting since last year but i don't have the chance to start because i was focusing on studying. your guide is definitely super useful for beginners like me. thank you ❤️
Tip for beginners: before even starting to crochet, do everything she does in the vid using a pen/pencil/marker as a hook and any string/wire as yarn :)
I first learned to crochet by finger crochet. All I did was the chain stitch, but it was very simple and easy. Watching people use a hook, oddly always looks more complex than it really is.
Thank you for making this free and available for everyone I hope you he best ♡♡♡ I am just doing you bucket hat it's taking some time but I am getting there!
Thank you 💜 I got with it as soon as I woke up I feel like I am gonna be done soon :3 Edit: it's the cutessstt I made the brim a bit smaller still love it, I am gonna make one for my Mom now ♡♡♡
i just sparked the interest for crocheting last week… and i CANNOT thank you enough for this 101 tutorial!! you literally taught me everything i know at the moment! THANK YOU!! ☺️
i have started learning crochet and in the start it was really tricky but when u watch it and practise its easy to do and the whole process requires patience keep ur self calm and enjoy it
Thank you for this tutorial. I have picked up stitches over the years and have made dish clothes and granny squares. This is the first real course I have taken. I appreciated your showing the different loops back, front, etc. I also appreciated learning about skiping and how many chains before turning. I had never really learned the correct way. I enjoyed this very much. Love following you on IG.
This is the only crochet tutorial I've ever been able to understand and apply in a practical way. I keep coming back to it whenever I need a reminder. Thank you so much!
the length of the video made me intimidated, but i am finishing this video with more knowledge about how to reach my crochet goals than i did with dozens of shorter 20 minute videos. THANK YOU for this!!!
I tried watched other videos and their technique to start off was different and it make the tension really loose so thought I’d never get it. Found your video after giving up and got too into it that I went way past 10 without realising. Now my dog has a pink and yellow snood😂 thank you for this! 💕
i cant thank you enough for this tutorial. i just begin crocheting today, and the tutorial on tiktok that i found was so fast. then i found this video. it was so helpfull. once again, thank you so much!
I have watched a million videos on how to crochet and you're the first one I have seen that actually goes slow enough to figure it out, thank you! Keep making videos ❤️ you have a new follower!
This was an excellent tutorial. I've been crocheting for many years, quit for a good while because I had no free time due to work, am now retired and have taken it up again. I like to make doilies mostly but do the occasional yarn project. You really take the time to explain everything clearly and concisely. Great job.
For the past week I've just been following along with youtube tutorials. After watching this, it feels great to finally undertstand the crochet terms and why I'm doing the stitches a specific way. Thank you!
This by far has been the easiest to understand demonstration of beginners crochet class ! Thank you soo much !!❤ I will definitely be watching more of your classes !!
Hi, thanks for this instructional video. I've been considering crocheting as a hobby, especially because I'll be bed-bound soon after upcoming surgery. I liked the way you kept your instructions at a slow pace and doing close-ups. I've seen other beginner videos that move faster than a cheetah's pace. I ordered a kit similar to yours--it's a kit for beginners--which should be coming in the mail in a week. Thanks again for doing this!
OMG thank you so much for this video 🙏 my gma taught me how to crochet when I was in middle school and I'm almost 50🤦 after yrs of being told I was holding the hook and the feeding yarn wrong I gave up I don't understand a lot of the technical terms so this video gave me so much hope and I wanted to thank you for that it is an amazing refresher and I learned a lot in the course of this video
This is the most helpful video I've watched. I almost gave up because I couldn't figure out turning and starting a new row, but you explained it so well, thank you very much!!
I used to crochet when I was a teenager and I never understood how to switch rows and make it even on the ends. You make it look so easy. Thanks so much!! ❤
It’s not relaxing at first. But I’m sure once I get good it will be. I’m enjoying the first knot pattern and feeling how to hold the yarn and hook in a way that feels comfy. I’m struggling to find one that I prefer, but slowly finding my niche.
I learned how to knit earlier this year, and now I want to learn how to crochet too because of how much I’ve been enjoying working with yarn. But I’ve been struggling to make it click. Crochet has been so much harder for me than knitting. This has been one of the most helpful tutorials so far, the learning curve is very steep but I love how thorough you are.
Wanted to learn to crochet this summer because my insta reel page has been bombarded with cute crochet ideas and plushes and my big sister crochets too! I spent about 4 hours trying to detangle my yarn and another two hours trying to practice chains only and oh boy does my back hurt and do I feel like crying
Girl I just stumbled over your video and I really wanted to appreciate the time and effort you've put into this tutorial. There is so much good stuff in the video and you're just giving it to us for free. So thank you so so much! Also I love the way you speak/your attitude, it's so positive and encouraging ♥️
I want to learn how to crochet so I searched RUclips for beginner crochet videos. I've watched a number of them and yours is one of the best ones. I like that you go int a lot a detail about each stitch. That detail helps me to learn because it helps me to better understand the process. I have been knitting for a number of decades and on a rare occasion finished an edge with single crochet. About 10 years ago I did take one class to learn crochet but we only made a scarf and I didn't really learn anything. That class that I took was lacking in providing detail, It was more like, here's a hook and some yarn, these are the stitches we will use, now start making the scarf, if you have any questions, just ask. Very frustrating because all the learners had questions and needed a lot of help so you would have to wait in limbo to get the instructors attention. I left the class feeling very frustrated and didn't have an interest until recently. Thank you for sharing, Cindy
I’m starting a new hobby! I can’t wait to get started. I’ve been looking at a lot of videos but your teaching style is awesome and easy to understand ! Can’t WAIT TO GET STARTED!!! 🧶💕❤️
I am a self taught 40 year crocheter. I like to watch your videos to see how accurately I learned from a book. I’ve done pretty well. But there is always more to learn. Your teaching and clarity are excellent. Thank you so much.
Wish me luck beginning my crocheting journey with a 5 ply yarn 😔😔😔😔😭😭😭 Edit: Day 5! I completed a crochet ball for my cat!!! Thank you so much for the class
I just want to say thank you so much for this video because i just started my crocheting journey and you helped me a lot! For some reason I understand your videos better than others. Bless 🙏🏽♥️
Omg I finally found a great tutorial on how to start crocheting !!! I Am so happy with this video, the instructions are so clear to understand. Wow ! This is the first time I am attempting to learn crochet and I believe with this video I should be able to make something beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing and I will be returning to your videos for instructions. ❤😊
Since school has ended for me, I have tons of time to do things. I don’t have many things to do, but crocheting is an activity I’ve been eyeing down for a while. I’m learning over the summer!
Since I am a beginner in Crocheting this video helped me a lot with how to hold the yarn, how to hold the hook, how to make a chain, and how to make a knot. Thanks for the tutorial!
I was just recently in an accident and my boyfriend bought a crochet kit for me while I recover. I felt a little overwhelmed when I typed in “crochet for beginners” but after watching your video I am crocheting with confidence!!! I truly appreciate this video and your easy explanations 🤗🥳💜 thank you so much for sharing!!
Started crocheting about two weeks ago but most channels just assume you know the basic lingo and could just speak the language on the spot and I sure did not so I got confused. This was super helpful! Thanks for posting and slowing down for us who can’t just pick up on the terms on our first project.
Thank you so much for the video! This is the first video I have found that actually breaks the entire process down into the basics. Other DIY videos just assumed the viewers knew the basics. Thank you!
This is by far the best tutorial for beginners I have seen. You have covered the bases and your illustrations and explanations are awesome. This will enable me to crochet with confidence. Most tutorials don’t tell you how to count your chains. I appreciate you taking the time to do this and for being so thorough. God bless you!
Thank you for being extremely thorough because other videos i have found simply dont explain enough and are too short. Im also glad you have other information like tools and what other patterns might call for :)) 💗
Girl. I’m done with single crochet. Single crochet doesn’t have a single step. It has like, 5. * pulls hair out * this is how I tell myself: 1 Thru the top stitch 2 Yarn over (from behind the hook toward the top of the hook and then resting on top of the hook, from back to front) 3 Thru the loop (now i have 2 loops around my hook) 4 Yarn over 5 Thru the 2 loops on my hook leaving 1 loop but I think I’ve got it! Your video is the first one of about 6 that i truly understand. Thanks so much! I was so happy when my work looked just like what was on screen!!
Your the first person who was able to help me get it! All the other RUclips videos didn’t work, but yours helped me learn quickly. ( the sad thing is that the Walmart yarn keeps splitting into a bunch of strands and now I don’t know what the hook is picking up.😢)
I've decided to learn crocheting this week, and your video has been incredibly helpful! I've been watching other channels, but your explanations are by far the best!!!!🥰
Amazing!!! I finally get it! I have tried for 42 years. I have watched tons of videos. I have tried books. I finally learned watching your video!! Thank you so much!
I just watched the full video and learned everything!!! You are an amazing teacher, thank you for being so patient and considerate of us. I'm left handed so I had to mirror your video but I still managed to learn and have a nice little weaved off rectangle now... 😆
❤ I just want to commend you on the fact that you focused not only on how to do the stitch but where to insert the crochet hook as well as how to begin and end the row. I know this might sound crazy but I easily learn the different types of stitches but have struggled and struggled to figure out where and how to insert the hook to start another stitch. And, properly beginning and ending a row has been another torture for me. THANK YOU! You have made me feel much more positive that I can actually do this!
It is SO simple I can't believe in just few hours I've make some rows. Now I just need to try again and again to make it better, but thank you so much!!
@@brunaticality I had to stop crocheting for a week because of a huge project for work, now I'm back at it again and almost finished my first checkered bag !
I'll update this comment as I watch but as if right now, 2:19 in. I'm excited and very pleased with the breakdown. It took me a good 24 hours to get through, Life happened, but I'm fully impressed and excited to try my hand at this. I've all ready been looking at a basic kit and some yarn. I'll check the channel for a part 2, but just in case, could you go over what each type of yarn is good for in terms of projects? That would be great! And thank you for taking the time to make this.
Yes for a first time chrocheter just wanting to try it out, a 5mm or 6mm hook are the way to go! I use 5, 5.5 & 6 the most! I also use 8 a lot when I use a 6 weight yarn
Thank you so much!!! For the most part I understood the basics enough to feel comfortable following pattern tutorials on RUclips but I was having issues and couldn’t understand why. By watching parts of your video I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong and you so easily explained it! Thank you for this resource! I will be showing this video to friends that are interested in starting crochet!
even though i'm an advanced beginner/slightly intermediate crocheter this video is soooo helpful as a refresher to make sure i'm still doing everything correctly lol i wish i would've found this video as i was learning everything THANK YOU for making this video
I loved this class so much! As a lot of others have said already, this was the most comprehensive video I’ve watched so far. Thanks so much for making this available to all of us! 💛
I was a complete novice, and now I’m sitting here making a test squares😆. This is so fun! This video is awesome, I’m going to save it for future if I forget anything👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I am relearning how to crochet, and your video has been super relaxing. So far, I'm only doing a single crochet, but I will watch again and try the other stitches.
I have been having such a hard time over the last few months with my health and been trying to find a hobby to keep me busy. I wasn’t to sure about Crochet as I found it something to be very daunting but your video is amazing and explains it so well to someone who has no idea about this new world :) Most probably going this weekend to buy what I need and come back to your video to follow everything again
This is the best tutorial I've ever seen. You explained everything so well!! As an absolute beginner I'm really happy with everything I learned in this video thank you so much 😊😊😊
I got right into crocheting yesterday , woke up and was like imma crochet a pillow after school went to Micheals bought a hook and yarn came home to start, 1/8 through starting the pillow realized that I actually had to learn about stitch’s.
Semi-impulsively went and got a bunch of wool and crochet stuff, including a book with patterns for lil animals, despite not knowing how to crochet at all lol. Found this video and it’s been so helpful! Tho did manage to confuse myself a couple of times with the translating between UK vs US terms lol. Still not sure I’m quite at the level to attempt to tackle the patterns in the book yet, but this has been a great help
THANK YOU SO MUCH IT WAS REALLY HARD BEFORE I FOUND THIS VIDEO BUT NOW I KNOW LOTS OF STICHES AND STUFF IM ONLY 12 AND I HAVE A PRESENTATION ABOUT THAT YOU HAVE TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW THAT YOU HAVENT DONE BEFORE SO I DECIDED TO DO CROCHET
Normally I don't watch long videos like this since I'm lazy. But I love the way you explain things. Even if sometimes I was tired I continued because you made it sound fun. Thank you for this video. 💕
I have Gaven up when 😮 a tried to even make a single crochet I would get so frustrated but I saw your video so I clipped it after a yesterday and it was so easy that I you I’m subscribing 😊😊
ahhh thank you so SO much for this, i’m going to Michaels today to spend my allowance money on stuff for this! with knowing what to get & sorta knowing what to do 🐓
Hello lovelies! Should I do the second part of this video? What should I cover? What do you want to learn next? 😍

i tried crocheting today, and i cried 5 times.
Takes a lotta patience to learn anything new. Don’t worry! You’ll master it in no time, just practice and have fun!😁👍
@@i.cleanload i just learned how to hold it, i’m learning slowly but atleast i’m learning lol
You are under so many crocheting vids BAHAHAHA. I also have just started. Good luck

*Make big squares with each stitch.

You can sew them together and make:
*squares bandanas

V good for getting good at a single stitch without having a bunch of useless squares.
You can single crochet a triangle. Triangle = bandana.

Checking with you after almost a year, how is your progress? Do you have any advice for someone that just begun to crochet?🤍

I love this video. It helped me a lot in understanding how to add rows. ❤
I am just starting to learn and so far your video is the easiest to understand.
Thank you for sharing!
Amazing!!! I finally get it! I have tried for 42 years. I have watched tons of videos. I have tried books. I finally learned watching your video!! Thank you so much!
Just bought my first needle and yarn and started my crochet journey through you
I just watched the full video and learned everything!!!
BEST EXPLANATION EVER!!! Can’t thank you enough 🫶🏻😁
Awww thank you! So happy you like the video! 😍😍
It is SO simple I can't believe in just few hours I've make some rows. Now I just need to try again and again to make it better, but thank you so much!!
You have the best explanation video I've watched. Started crocheting today and it was fantastic ! Merci beaucoup
I am happy that you liked it! Don't forget to share some pictures of your projects! 🥰🥰
Aww so so happy it helped you! Thank you! 😍😍😍
ive been wanting to crochet since last year but i never had the time for it im excited to watch this video

Please please do more of these videos I’m learning so much !!❤❤
I am relearning how to crochet, and your video has been super relaxing.
As an absolute beginner I'm really happy with everything I learned in this video thank you so much 😊😊😊
bookmarked for first day of crocheting at 33:12! figure out and practice more stitches tomorrow :)
I got right into crocheting yesterday , woke up and was like imma crochet a pillow after school went to Micheals bought a hook and yarn came home to start, 1/8 through starting the pillow realized that I actually had to learn about stitch’s.
This is one the best tutorials I have seen for beginners. You make it seem very achievable. Thank you for doing this!
That is awesome! I am happy that you liked it! Don't give up you can do it! 😍😍
THANK YOU SO MUCH IT WAS REALLY HARD BEFORE I FOUND THIS VIDEO BUT NOW I KNOW LOTS OF STICHES AND STUFF IM ONLY 12 AND I HAVE A PRESENTATION ABOUT THAT YOU HAVE TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW THAT YOU HAVENT DONE BEFORE SO I DECIDED TO DO CROCHET
thank you!! this helped me a lot!
Normally I don't watch long videos like this since I'm lazy.
But I love the way you explain things. Even if sometimes I was tired I continued because you made it sound fun.
Thank you for this video. 💕

Just finished my first project!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It is beyond helpful and insightful. I now feel confident in attempting my first beginner project.
This has to be the best tutorial possible! I love how you go over absolutely everything and explain the stitches very slowly, thank you for this. 😁
