That looked like a legit traffic stop to me. The fact that it took the driver a lot of time to produce relevant documents was on the driver, not the cop. In the US it i most common for a person to have license and insurance in their wallet, purse or car; many states do not even require proof of registration other than a sticker on the windshield that they pay to get. A demand for those docs would get a reply in a half minute at most, not the long drawn out session this driver required because of his unusual and extremely unccommon situation. The driver was not detained longer than necessary. Yes, the cop assumed criminal behavior, probably SovCit nosense, and his attitude was not the best, but the driver was not detained longer than necessary to determine he had a license, registration and insurance and some comprehension of why no plates were required.

Second clip.. guess he could have filmed the parking lot from the Dunkin’ Donuts, because judging by those officers, there must be one next door. 😂

I love how Barrientes thought things would go his way and then experienced a metaphoprical wedgie.

I love this, and I really need to brush up on my rights. Here's a story my fiance who was my boyfriend at the time had a job delivering these coupon gift cards to home owners. Things like if you spend 4,000 dollars, the card would get you 500$ off. We did not speak to anyone or knock on doors. Sticky notes and photos were taken as proof for the company. The job sent us all over the state of Missouri and we were currently in Kearney, Missouri. It was near lunch time and we took a break and got lunch at McDonald's then as we headed back into the neighborhood we were corner off with a cop in the front and the back. Now we are a African American couple in a purple Monte Carlo in a upper class neighborhood. The cops demanded ID, dumped the box of coupons, more than likely looking for drugs or something. But when found nothing tried to say we were soliciting and we were in a no soliciting area. At this point we had enough of the aggressive cops and told them we were unaware and would leave they then demanded proof of why we were there. My boyfriend called his supervisor who confirmed that it was in fact a part of the job, the cops tried to argue with them too but it soon began to diffuse when their supervisor showed up and said that we could leave. We were followed through the neighborhood, on the highway until we reached the city limit. I wish I had the knowledge i do now back then. I don't hate the police, but the corrupted ones with malice and hate in their hearts, they can get gone 😂

When police say that they have the „right“ to identify people they are saying out loud that they have more rights than everyone else.

Now I am not defending law enforcement in any way, but some states have laws that require a person to identify themselves, though this is with reasonable and great suspicion, which 95% of these guys don't have.

15:00 "we're detaining you while we figure out what our probable cause/reasonable suspicion is" and "we don't have the right to frisk/search you, unless our frisk/search leads us to believe you committed a crime"
    What the actual hell?!

With the first one. Him cracking up at the end gave me such sweet pleasure. Lol. Yet, another clue, of the PURPOSEFUL CLUELESSNESS of the policing system. And the true intention behind it.

At least the first one was smart enough to know he's defeated. In most other cases when cops know they are in the wrong they still maintain their stance often with a lawsuit as a result. That is really stupid.

Yes. Apparently, it's just not legal for anyone to drive a car from another country, say from Canada or Mexico, while you are on vacation in California. Importing a vehicle for resale is not the same as temporary visitation. The dimwitted cop saw a license plate he didn't recognize, pulled the guy over, realized he made a mistake but had too much ego and attitude to admit it. Maybe he just got done with a bad stop a short time earlier; a school bus accident with multiple dead children. Or, maybe he's an a-hole.

First cop is exactly what’s wrong with police theses days. He wasn’t focused on his job and helping. He was focused on being right and shoving his weight around.
