Crazy what a soldier can do with free time on his hands.
Not to mention how nonchalantly the fat fck with the coinslot brush sprays three doses of OC in the approximate vacinity of the car? God how I wish that wind would have turned the instant he sprays, having him and his idiot friend: fat fck #2 bawling their eyes out while probably blindly firing their guns at anything that moves. 😂
Bloody hell, I always thought the "Police Academy" movies were comedy; not a documentary.
The cop says “He’s a paraplegic” after looking him up. Then immediately goes to his car afterwards and tells him to step out. Then they proceed to drag him and beat him in front of his child, because a paraplegic can’t step out of the car. Then supervisor gets there and ask’s if he is hurt, and the guys says “yes my legs are hurt” and the supervisor responds “but you can’t feel your legs” and proceeds to make excuses for his officers disgusting behavior. ARE YOU F****** KIDING ME? I have never been more disgusted in my life. Everyone that responded to that call should be fired immediately. This is why people hate cops. They are literally a legal gang.
Spot on Brother, it’s sickening to watch
Clifford could have complied and had a simple window tint ticket. But- he chose to argue, defy the police, and most laughably- called for “backup”.

Obstruction is a way for a police officer to arrest someone for doing nothing. It is BS but if a person doesn't have anything to hide then just give them your ID. As soon as the officer says obstruction it's over for you and you'll now go to jail. Sad but true.
Snatching a paraplegic man out of the car and throwing him to the ground for a traffic stop is absolutely disgusting
...a traffic stop for TINTED WINDOWS
They were watching him over a period of days. The window tint was the basis for the legal traffic stop. If you look into the story, the man was receiving large sums of cash from a nuisance drug house in the area where he had just come from. He had been parked there for several hours. He had $20,000 in cash on him. I would not be surprised if he was a drug mule or cash mule and they knew it would be difficult to effectively search him and his car because he was a paraplegic. They gave him ample opportunity to cooperate and offered him assistance in getting out, which he still refused. Just because someone's disabled doesn't mean that they're exempt from the law. What he did is akin to someone using a baby in their arms as a shield to avoid being arrested. He made the situation worse and brought it upon himself. The United States Supreme Court has long ruled that the police have a right to ask (and order/force) you out of a vehicle during a stop or investigation. Finally, being disabled, including paraplegic does not mean that they do not pose any potential risk.
@@sdelagua "Just because someone's disabled doesn't mean that they're exempt from the law." Ah, just like how officers are, under law, meant to make accommodations for people with disabilities? Offering help when they are not medical professionals isn't adequate and they didn't ask about his injury (like if use of force could cause further damage). Clifford could've handled the situation better, but he did NOTHING to warren the degrading response. The courts ruling in his favour should be a bit of a hint that the conduct of the officers was not reasonable in any objective sense.

Usually you can tell within the first 10-15 seconds what kind of person the ofc. pulling you over it. Being scared to get stopped and being nervous when stopped is one thing and understandable, the way certain people act in lieu of that irately escalating under the excuse of the former is a different story.

Deserved is the right word, but remember that it's not the officers who offended that pay that restitution, it's the taxpayer on their behalf: There's therefore a strong conflict of interest, as the taxpayer shouldn't be punished for this - the officers should be.
New York City has the right idea: They threw out qualified immunity for state officials in 2021, which would've enabled Clifford to sue the specific officers for damages on top of the state had this happened there.
Big f-ing yikes on the first one. How on Earth is it alright for police officers to ever act like that. Ridiculous that they didn't get removed from their positions.

Black lives matter, unless you're a privileged black man
Good look for the family getting 8.25 million but the guy before them in the army only got 3k is absolutely horrible
This is exactly why a lot of people are afraid of cops
Learning a lot watching these videos. when I get pulled over, I always have my credentials ready and I never had a problem. I’d rather cooperate than get arrested for nothing. Some of these situations are crazy I just can’t believe what happens. Lawsuits left and right.
"when you don't get along with the program" "get with the program" etc is the most insulting stuff I there from police officers whom violates peoples rights and DOESN'T GET WITH THE PROGRAM after the fact and ask for QUALIFIED IMMUNITY instead of getting with the program and taking the hit like any normal citizen would've had to do.
it’s so crazy how that lady just stopped to sit there for a minute after a long road trip to relax before going into starbucks and it turns into her getting arrested and the girls getting arrested as well for wanting to use the bathroom like wtf has this world become. after long road trips i like to just sit and relax as well to just get some energy before getting out the car to go inside . she was probably going to get coffee to wake herself up smh , so glad she won something million dollars . as she should
Finally. Someone is talking about the worst clip here. Finally.
In this video I think the cop is not racist. I honestly believe that. I just think he let his ego get the best of him and he definitely could not back down and admit that he was wrong.
8 million dollars seems a little crazy for that. I think she should've won the lawsuit for sure but thats a bizarre amount of money. Probably coming straight out of the tax payers' pockets as well. These payouts aren't punishments for the officers if they dont have to pay a cent themselves and get to keep their jobs.
Well that family was black and they had the audacity to pull into a PARKING LOT! Clearly that means they're responsible for every crime that's occurred in that entire town EVER!
They got paid and pigs got promoted lol
@@TheBeanis8 i don’t agree, mental health is really important and that was probably really traumatic for them you never know
The poor army guy couldn’t even see to get out of the car after being pepper sprayed.
First cop was like “STOP BEING HANDICAPPED 😡🤬”
Their motto is actually, “To harass & corrupt”, not “To serve & protect”
I hate when cops do something stupid and wrong and then try to ask u a bunch of stupid questions like theyre your friend after they realize they f'd up
You’re an idiot
I noticed that too it’s so disrespectful
"Alright, I don't see anything immediately apparent. He's good to go." -EMT moonlighting as a police "supervisor."
Refusal to provide medical attention when requested is also a violation. Real class act.
Denying medical treatment is necessary because there would be objective proof of assault/injury. Apparently they didn't get him alone (and helpless) and explain why filing suit is a bad idea.
I love the fact the guy in the last clip is literally wearing a shirt that says “Modern Law” and the cops still make bogus claims 😂
The dog in the back in the second clip took me from pissed to ENRAGED
The dog!! 😳
@@adriannroulhac576Right 😂
at first i thought the lieutenant was crazy for asking 1 million, and then i was even more flabbergasted when the other family was rewarded 8 million 😭😭😭 good for them
Thats what happens when you dont settle. They took it to trial, good on them.
If you settle you get peanuts and they dont admit fault
Omg I thought I was the only 1 thinking that!! 8 MILLION?!? And people who were actually hurt got literally fractions of that!
I found your channel today, new sub.
What the heck...I thought Quiznos was out of business. I freaking love quiznos
police or lieutenants shouldn’t be allowed to pull anyone that is paraplegic out of a friends car or the person that owns the car
31:25 wow 8.25million $ for an illegal arrest? They are set for life!
Thats what im saying man
And they didn’t deserve a penny. What kind of judge did they get
@@Pitstop425wdym they didn’t deserve a penny? They were driving all night & stopped in a parking lot to rest for a bit. They didn’t deserve to get harassed or even detained based off a hunch from the police officer
@@lifeisokay7148obviously. But i also have to get up and study useless stuff tomorrow. I‘d rather get wrongfully arrested it‘s less harassment. Where are my 8 Million?
@@vincevangoat1better start studying harder if you want that 8 mil
When the white shirt cop said "sir you can't feel your legs" 😤
“Just go along with the program”. Remember that. Remember it well. They don’t care.
Need to start taking settlements out of their pensions
They’d have to train them a lot better then. And they can’t pay for that rarely when they can they just won’t.
@@LifeSuxesthat's a copout, there's no way their training led them in that direction
End qualified immunity first!
It’s the lack of training. To police society I think you should have some type of social degree. I think the average cop should be paid more. But kept to a much higher standard. Especially when it comes to the emotional control side. But this nation as a whole is a bit off when it comes to mental health. IF every department gave top tier training to people with the ability to police society then you could hold that person at fault. It’s kinda like not training someone well enough for a job with the condition if they fuck up the taxes pay for it because this is a necessary job. Working like this is a better one size fits all. If you try to attack officers personally (legally) then they have a case on the department for lack of training. But a asshole is an asshole cop or not and I believe no exemptions for those who’s been sworn
@@LifeSuxes you characterizing these types of interactions as mere "fuck ups" tells me that you're not arguing in good faith.
21:50 This case is the perfect example why you don't have a casual conversation with cops. If the cop just wants to explain something to you or tell you about something unprompted, it isn't because they're just being nice. This cop clearly wanted an excuse to start something, and this lady going on about how the plates won't come up as hers and she isn't from there is exactly the kind of comment that cop was waiting for, hence why he immediately asked for ID.
It sure as hell paid off for that family. I wonder how so much money was awarded in that lawsuit vs the others though. The paraplegic and the pepper spray incident, at least in my opinion, were far worse.
@@Eyem1337 Yeah, they made off with a bag, but if you aren't careful with how you act in front of the cop, or how you handle the lawsuit, you'd end up like that lieutenant, only getting 0.2% of what you asked for. A huge factor in these cases is how the defendant was treated versus how they acted.
8 mill, even after legal fees and such, is still a huge amount of money, but the state is gonna look for a reason to not give any of that to you. So this was a really good ending for them, but not something that would happen often.
@@Eyem1337 I think it was because they literally broke ZERO laws whatsoever whereas the other two had "reasons" the cops even approached them albeit shitty ones.
The peppered sprayed one, he should’ve been given more money than like 3-4k.. poor fellow..
I love these videos because they bring awareness to a great problem. The hardest part of watching these videos though, is seeing to which degree fellow humans have descended, it's really heart breaking.
The paraplegic needed 'special' care in being removed from his vehicle but the question is why did the officer feel he had the right to remove this driver for tinted windows? The cop should have simply issued a citation for the tinted windows and let the driver go. The cop needs to be fired and prosecuted for assault and battery to a disabled person.
he won't. it's their own nazi club that will be investigating it
DWB, you know
$8,25000,000? THAT'S MORE LIKE IT. This video has me super pissed off and very glad that cops are required to wear bodycams, now.
Bet tall felt danm af when u realized that was legit money and you couldn't steal it.
Love how the police are telling the paraplegic person that he doesn’t feel pain in his legs just because he says so.
