Phoenix 300th Parkrun 01/06/2024

I ran Phoenix Parkrun in 21:55 and finished 7th overall.
Phoenix Park was fantastic. Thank you to the volunteers and fellow runners. The hill itself was really tough after the third attempt. Everyone were really cheerful, friendly and encouraging throughout the run.
There were some friendly fishermen throughout the route and someone even turned up by longboat.
I did a little litter picking while walking around the run route, it is a real shame when people do not pick up after themselves. Maybe a group of volunteers or the local council can arrange a litter pick.
I finished the Manchester Half Marathon in 1:35:45 last Sunday.
