I lived Van life for seventeen years on & off I think I hold a world record from raising three children teaching coast to coast and owning houses & property book touring
i hope others have made a comment like this: the only reason people make rude or unkind remarks is they are jealous of you and insecure about themselves. they have to talk bad about others to try to make themselves feel better or more important. they feel inadequate about themselves and frankly strong, independent women like you scare the crap out of them. please, please, please do not let them voicing their petty insecurities affect you. what you are doing and what you've accomplished in your life is amazing.
I'm a 76 year old male, who envys you and Chris lives. I married a "Princess" which means she hated to camp, rarely drove on vacation -had to always fly, top restaurants, vehicles, a 2nd house etc. I wish I could do it all over and do it Chris's way. This is a wonderful channel enjoy watching your pup and seeing you grow into life. My one suggestion to you and Chris is "Don't wait to do something in life" We waited to long and my wife had a brain tumor, then 20 yrs later Ovarian cancer, back surgery for her and we can't travel at all 'cause she lost 70% of her vision. Don't wait - Do it now and you won't regret your decision on life. Bless you guys.
Bill Beck, thank you for your advice. So true. I'm 64 and looking to live this life for the next few years...in the planning stages. Yes, I wish I would have done it sooner... but it's not the case... so what do we do with lemons? Make lemonade. ♡ Even the planning is fun. Thx again for your insight. Appreciated.
@billbeck47 That’s the whole point of their channels-Linnea & Chris aren’t waiting til life passes them by. No deferred retirement for them. I’m so sorry for all the horrible health problems your wife has gone through. She’s fortunate to have your support #SendingHealing #SendingStrengthAndCoping 🌀🌟
@@NMWriterofWords I understand what you’re saying about the use of the word “Princess” but remember this man stood by his wife during her brain tumor, ovarian cancer, and loss of vision. And that all may just be the tip of their health nightmares. My husband & I have major degenerative health problems for which there is no cure. Love and kindness is what we each need for support. Oh, and of course lots of laughter! Linnea & Akela, along with Chris & his pup, inspire me. Many ppl find healing in nature which is not the same as being cured. But just watching them brings me joy, peace, laughter, and, yes, healing. #Gratitude #Respect #Healing4UsAll
@@NMWriterofWords you’re assuming the incorrect definition of that word in how HE meant it. You wrongly assumed he’s somehow disrespecting her. Any man who stays with his wife through all of that has more love and respect than I’ll assume you’ve ever known! Because I’ve been there, lived it when the Husband (mine) did mean it the wrong way. This man sacrificed everything FOR his wife.
I love to hear about your desire to have children one day, and how much Chris wants to be a good Dad. That brought tears to my eyes to hear him say that. Dad's are so necessary in the lives of children. I personally have seen the differences in my own children between the older ones who had a dead-beat dad who abandoned them and the younger ones who have a dad who is present and there for them. The children of the later are so much more emotionally healthier. Even though my second husband and I loved and supported the older children, the pain of rejection from biological dad walking away from them was always there and it showed.
I am a 64 year old woman. I have always loved to read survival books! I am very impressed with the depth of your personality! I think building out your van yourself was amazing! In this world you sometimes have to leave your comfort zone so you don't become stagnant. That's how we people learn new talents, insights, and about the life we want to live. I don't understand people who make snarky comments to you! I always tell my daughter " You do YOU"! Keep making your videos, I love them and a ton of others do also. Forget the haters, they are just jealous! Hope you and Chris and the doggies continue to thrive and go forward and live the life you want to live!!
My 63 year old self wishes I was brave enough to have lived the life I’m living now when I was young, strong, healthy, free of obligations, and not giving any figs about what others thought of me or my life choices, yet still bowing to societies views and rules. I envy your determination to live your life exactly how you deem essential for your emotional, mental and physical wellbeing. I’m so happy you found your person, and that you know how important it is to support each other’s individuality and independence! What an amazing gift that is. Change your lifestyle as you grow and need to, but don’t ever change who you are! Love you, Chris, and the fur babies!!! Happy, safe, and healthy 2024!
You two are exactly right. When I was married and had children, I did everything. My husband believed that if he was bringing in more money, even though I worked too, that I should be the one that took care of the children. That is one of the reasons that I divorced him. I felt like if I was raising children by myself, then I wanted to be by myself so I could be a good mom & not be expecting something from him he would never do. It is so refreshing to hear how Chris wants to be a father that will be there for his children. Actually made me cry. You two are the real deal. And, I’m so happy you met. ♥️♥️
I hear you completely! The difference is, I stayed with my husband and to hear him reminiscing now about how much he did (thinks) he did with our son makes my blood boil. He was definitely the guy who, if he stayed with our son while I ran out to shop etc. he "babysat". He remembers changing diapers and I honestly think I could count that on one hand. I took my son everywhere from grocery shopping to school meetings etc. He totally believed it was his job to earn the money and mine to look after everything else. I went back to school full time when my son was 6 and everything was still on me...even down to leaving school early to pick child up from school. To be fair, when our son reached 7 or 8, my husband spent much more time with him due to sports etc. I realize it was a different time then...now the reverse is happening for my son. His wife is a Dr. (he is an accountant) so because he can work from home 4 days a week EVERYTHING!! is on him. She sits back and delegates, so consequently my blood is still boiling . Linea and Chris are on the right path and young women today are much more astute than I was, that is for sure. Best of luck and kudos to any young woman standing her ground out there!
Linnea, I am just like you in refusing assistance, but I have learned to let the person offering help do what they've offered -- because it makes them feel good! Chris clearly loves you and appreciates your independence and knowledge, it doesn't appear to intimidate him. It seems that he's offering assistance because he's being thoughtful, not trying to diminish your abilities (remember, you are a team!). Compare it to how good you feel when you've made a delicious meal and are watching Chris eat it with happiness and gratitude. Accepting Chris's help in no way makes you weaker, it can strengthen your partnership. Just my two cents. 🙂
I'm with you Linnea, less money, more living. I worked and made money, had the mortgage cars debt and the stress that went with it. Today, debt free with enough to get by has made me the happiest I have ever been. It isn't hard when living in nature truly is the stuff of life!
I think you need to be sponsored by that scissor manufacturer. I have never seen anyone use a pair of scissors for so many things, especially building a van! And they can still cut hair! Impressive! 21:30
The look on Chris's face regarding stubbornness was adorable. I thought he was so much older. You 2 are hysterical. What a beautiful love story you have to tell. You are living authentically .
Omgosh I was dying😆🤣🤣😁 on some of this. Wow, you two are a beautiful couple. Linnea, I love what you share. It is so genuine and inspiring. Yes, you should write a book with lots of pics of nature and living off grid. Forget the trolls!
This is the first time I have ever heard someone say that they have the same values as my husband and I. We only want to have a child if we can be around all the time and don’t have to work while raising them. My husband and I became debt free in our 20’s paying off over $235,000 in debt in just 4 years and saved up to pay cash for our home . We will be both be retired by 35 and that is when we are starting a family. People always talk down about our plan and don’t understand it but it is so nice to see we are the only ones who have this goal. ❤ Glad I came across your channel today!
I think you and your husband are so smart! There's not much worse than having to leave your newborn baby to go to work. You and your husband will he so blessed to both be able to stay with your baby. What an incredible life you will be offering your child. The only thing you will have to pay attention to is taking time for yourselves independently and together, as well as making sure your child gets the opportunity to interact with other little ones if they aren't in daycare. I think they say this starts around 2 or 3 years old, where they actually start interacting with each other in a meaningful way.
I love the way you two live. I’m 77 this year and I would live your way right now. When my husband and I retired, we bought 15 acres of woods and lived primitive in our pop up camper for two years. Loved every single minute. We would still be there but my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I’m not as handy with tools and chain saws, etc. as you are. Enjoy your journey, savor each experience and make lots of memories because that’s all I have now. I envy your youth. Love from South Carolina.
I love seeing y’all evolve into your interconnected lives…. He’s a hottie girl .. lol.. I’m a single momma who travels one week a month in warmer months with my kids and work the other 3 weeks. It’s been a blessing traveling with them and letting them see the world and meet other kiddos from all over. I don’t have anywhere near your followers but I do vids here on yt showing my camping with kids mainly for them to see when they get older and I’m too old to travel and have fun with them (I’m 45 now)…it’s been the best memories ever..
Linnea, it is rare that a content creator would create such a personal video and just put themselves out there. I enjoyed watching very much. I especially empathized with your comments about being in the desert and watching sunrises and sunsets and just the feeling that it gives. For me personally, it causes me to be filled with wonder at the creation that God has given us. But when I heard you talking about it, I remembered a Bible verse in Ecclesiastes 3:11 that states "God has set eternity in the human heart” and that even folks that are "non-religious" as you claim to be, are likewise filled with wonder and amazement at these things. I'm glad you enjoy it, and thrilled at watching your videos showing the fun and adventurous life you are living! I do hope that one day you will also enjoy the thrill of knowing God on a personal level, but that will be between God and you. Stay SAFE!!
I think that timeline of life for men before you have kids is so realistic. I don’t think most men are ready for family before their 40’s. I especially love that it’s because you want to be a huge part in raising them. Love this video 😊
You are such a wise woman, as young as you are. I am a 64 year old nomad, I spent decades around the world and in the American Southwest desert, and I am working at being sedentary now, it is very difficult. Nomadism is a profound way of life and a true personality trait. Some of us have this old gene in us. I still have a Tacoma truck with a slide-in camper so that I can spend a few months out of the year in the wilderness. I have enjoyed watching your videos, you are doing a great job.
You are absolutely an adorable inspiration for anyone who actually listens to what you have to say! You and Chris are priceless together. I always always love your laughter which is a family trait...you mom and brother. It never fails to bring a smile to my face. I am a 79 year old great grandmother and so enjoy your videos. Stay well and happy!!!
I wish I had half as much optimism & tenacity as you! It rubs off on me a little bit more every video I watch of yours! Thank you for being a pick me up!
I’ve just found you on YT. I am so impressed with how well and candidly you articulate your feelings, both the light hearted and the more personal thoughts. Thank you for sharing your life. Wishing you all good things. ~ Allison
I just have to say, I normally HATE Q&A videos from my subscriptions. But I’ve been watching Chris since his Class B and you since the buildout and I thought this Q&A was awesome and hilarious…especially the farts. Love u guys ❤
I have followed you on tiktok for quite awhile, love your TikToks.. I don’t like youtube ( I thought) bc I hear my kids listening to shorts .. but tonight I have watched 3 of your videos and I’m hooked. Absolutely love your honesty, van life, life..( does that make sense) last month was the 1 st vacation my kids and I have been on and we have not been in a tent. My son asked me more than once, bc he couldn’t believe we were going to have ac, and a bathroom in our cabin. I’ll keep watching. You have me hooked now thank you
Great video. Thanks for your openness which isn't easy for most people to do. You & Chris have an enviable relationship, that is possibly rare. And I love how close you are to your dogfriend. You're kind, honest, & thoughtful...great qualities. Sorry that there are a few mean people in your audience...but you aren't the problem, they are. So, please don't internalize the mean, negative stuff...it just makes them feel better to bring someone else down. I'd bet 99.9% of your audience love who you are & your content. 🤗👍
As a 70 year old solo traveler , I am delighted to see you and Chris out exploring and enjoying. It is harder as you age to do all these things and waiting can mean you never have that freedom to explore. I am once again inspired by your answers and perspective. Let it ROLL and enjoy every minute
Linnea, You and Chris are an inspiration for living simply, after 34 years of working my ass to the bone and suffering 4 heart attacks from making a living to support my home and wife, I was able to finally retire and slow down some and distressing from a couple of occupations. I now have become a inconvenience and hinderance to my wife’s lifestyle that she wants to embark upon, being with her widow friends and gambling (slots mostly)…34 years waisted, when’s I could have been doing something else…like enjoying my life and possibly with someone else. Thank God you two won’t be looking back later in life and saying “Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda” !!
Linnea, keep doing what your doing loving it. You are so inspiring watching back home with health problems. Loving your posts xx And your puppy paws xx
I absolutely loved this video...Everything you said I get it! I started out homeless to a 4br house with an inground pool and 3 boats to now I want to sell it all and build out a van ... my life will be full circle ❤️💪💯
I’m selling my house now, I don’t need all the space it’s so wasted, especially a dining room and basement, we collect things and become slaves to them.
Linnea, I have been a silent watcher for the most part, but I really want to share how comforting I find your videos. Once I found you, I watched from the beginning as you started this adventure and built a life so your soul (and Akela) are fulfilled. I have always had this inner call and pull towards a different way of life than what I was originally raised in. Along the way, I am figuring out what is calling me (and what's not for me) and allowing me to be the best version of myself, in that I found this beautiful nomadic van/bus life. The more I watch your videos, the more I feel like you are a lifelong friend that understands my deepest thoughts and perceptions. Not only that but your delivery of these thoughts in your videos in such an artistry way makes my soul leap for joy. It would truly be a pleasure if one day our paths crossed, even just for a conversation. Van life (or ambulance 🤔) is calling me home. Thank you for sharing all that you do in these videos. It truly is making a difference for people like me who feel support and accepted in this call of life. All the love ❤️
I, too, am a silent watcher but I admire her so much!! I find I cry, laugh, and feel so many emotions watching her journey. She gives me the courage to start the life I have always wanted even though I am 51.
Love this video! I gave up a soul sucking horrible job that paid me huge. I am happiest I have ever been. Now I have simplified my life and I am so happy.
I can relate so deeply to your comment about “the skin” we are wearing. 💗💗💗 I would love to have a long deep conversation with you about life. I honestly believe there are a lot of us watching you that feel the same about “living”. Really like how you did some alone questions and then some with Chris 👍🏻 🤣😂🤣 the fart topic - love it Appreciate how real you can be with us 💋 This was one of your best videos. Thank you 😊
Your perspective on life and beauty is so refreshing!! It’s great for young women to be able to hear/ see this from you and be inspired, as opposed to other influences who focus on material possessions to bring them happiness! Really appreciate your honesty & always love your videos! ❤️
I started my trek at 35 now off grid on my own property, no debt. I wish I came to the sustainability years before I did. Your an inspiration to people, keep it up.
I never got to dirtbag travel in my 20s so I’m about to embark on it in my 40s! ❤ Love witnessing the relationship between you and Chris. I’ve just had to separate from my person of 8 years and I’m hoping that once we both reach this level of independence that we can return to a side by side path. You are so fortunate to have reached this point so young! I’m rooting for you both ❤
I recently stumbled across your page and absolutely love your content. I think you're an amazing human being and you have amazing beliefs and views on the world. It's extremely refreshing to get on RUclips and see people like you still exist. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see more videos!
Linnea, I love your answers, love the way you think about life and especially how you want to live your live (it's such a big adventage that you realise it being this young and hard whilst living in a society which pressures people a lot doing it the same way everybody does). Also love the way you are still the same person you were before you met Chris but now you are growing together without losing yourselves. It's so inspiring; please keep going on the two of you! (btw: I am also a fan of Miriam Lancewood)
I love your philosophical tangents! Your values and ideas are so my vibe, i agree with almost everything you have said. Life today has brought on so many existential moments, and I think vanlife is a great way to explore what life is all about and how we can bend it in the current western world we have.
Thank you for opening up..to us. When you were explaining that book your reading, you referenced success. Success is a social construct, the only person who can say your successful is you. Success is determined by YOUR happiness in YOUR life. Good luck out there
I found the following Brent Brown quote so insightful and it really transformed my outlook about true generosity and giving. “Until we can receive with an open heart, we are never really giving with an open heart. When we attach judgment to receiving help, we knowingly or unknowingly attach judgment to giving help.”
What a cohesive couple you are as I’m new on your Channel…..keep that positivity attitude as there is so much negativity out there! Honesty & communication is the essence of relationships! Other nomads/RUclipsrs have children & manage, Chris is very sensible about financial stability 😀👍🇦🇺
Hi. Enjoyed your video, I'm independent not stubborn. I'm 81 and I want to do something if I'm able to do so. I would have loved to live the life you are living. I love to see the love between you and Chris. Don't let people's remarks bother you live the life you love. Time is short enjoy while you are able.
I have 3 golden doodles. When she passes, take time to mourn her, but DEFINITELY get another one when you are ready! The next dog NEEDS you. So every day you and the next dog are not together is a loss. Also, prepare for your mourning if you can. Sounds morbid but I don't think it's a good idea to ignore it. As a 52 year old atheist, dad and husband, I enjoy your channel. Keep up the great content.
Linnea don’t let anyone put you down for what you do and a woman that can do things like you do is sexy. When ever you and Chris decides to have kids make sure you Home School them. They’ll have the best Education then Public School kids. And the two of you can teach your children more things on the road. Enjoy your life on the road and keep making awesome content.
Great idea - I would really like a video about feminine hygiene on the road. I get so nervous about periods when I'm camping and generally staying fresh. Not only so that I feel good about myself but also for health and to avoid UTIs.
You two are the cutest couple. It's not easy finding a manly man who is ok with accepting your independence, but also willing to help you when you need help. I am told I'm too independent, and I can't get help with anything, except sometimes when I beg and plead. Yes, I have begged for help lifting things that are too heavy for me because I have a bad back. One of the worst parts is that if you need help, the other person now has control over you and can make you wait hours or even days for that 5 gallon water jug, or that crock pot way up on the shelf.
🍃😁🍃Good talk Linnea and Chris!!! Enjoy your lives just as you see fit, and don't let anyone step on your right to do so. To each their own. I'm very happy to see you two together...you seem perfect together, and most definitely VERY happy together. THAT is wonderful!!! ENJOY!!! Catch you on the flip side!!! Big fat hugs!!! Lotsa love!!! 🍃🤗😍🍃
I just stumbled across your videos this morning, and have spent the last few hours watching one after another. My takeaway is that you (and Chris) are remarkable human beings❤️. Your transparency, authenticity, just the realness of what you express have already had a profoundly positive impact on me. I so look forward to watching more of your life unfold. Thank you for being in this world. Love ya.
Wow thank you so much Tina. This absolutely warmed me heart. Thank you for the time to write this and share it with me. I hope you have a wonderful weekend 💛
Linnea, you are such a sweet soul. I too struggled with the inner child and not ever wanting to disappoint people and letting negativity get to me when I know better. Someone said something once that has just really stuck with me and helped me get beyond the disapproval or dare I say pesticism. "People are allowed to be wrong about me and my intentions. It's also okay for them to be wrong, especially when they don't really know me; because they don't really know me." So now I just give people permission to be wrong and allow myself the grace to not have to prove anything to them because I know that they are wrong and that's all that matters. Sending lots of love and a small dose of jealousy that you're in the woods in winter! 🥰
Nobody 's in your shoes.....so their opinion shouldn't matter.....it's your life and you know your needs and likes....I love the way you think and live.....a roof over your head , eating , sleeping and live is all the important things we need. Enjoy and be happy 😊 ✌️🥰
Oh my goodness- I love the dynamic between the two of you- that type of dynamic is so important for your relationship to grow and develop. Seeing how easy you two can laugh and tease each other is so refreshing- so glad I found your channel.
I admire you and am similar to you but a lot older. I love being down to earth as you are. Keep doing and enjoying your challenged. My husband and I raised 2 sons who also love the outdoors. We have lived semi off grid, simple. Don’t stop!
This is the first time I have viewed one of your videos. I really enjoyed it! I believe we all have been somewhat trained growing up in society on how to think. The greater majority of people never question what they've learned. From the beginning of life, we are shown so many things by the media on how we should look, be, and live. You couldn't have answered those questions more beautifully with grace and professionalism. I haven't lived van life yet, but it's in the works as we speak 😃. I wish you both well, and I look forward to watching more of your videos now that I'm a subscriber.
Love your live and let live attitude. My dad was born in 1915 and now deceased, but he raised us with that attitude as well. It sure would make the world a more gentle place to live. By the way, my parents were 40 when I was born. Ya’ll have plenty of time!
Really appreciate your candor and honesty. It’s so fun to watch your interactions with Chris. You are always true to yourself and your values. Many of us have something to learn here! Keep going🥰
If You Like LOTR then you'll be entranced and fully entrenched with The Chronicles of Narnia, Candide by Voltaire and for a tear jerker - The old Man and The Sea and The Life of Pi
I'm not a very RUclips watcher but, with you guys, weird, I don't skip a minute and watch it and almost forgetting I'm watching. Keep doing what you love. Take care!
Thank you for your openness and candor. You two are doing it the right way to avoid regrets when you're way older. Trust me, I know from first hand experience. Neat that you realize this while you're both young enough to do something about it. Down the road with a child? The three of you would fit into Alaska like you were born there. I can easily see the three of you youtubing building an Alaskan settlement like Bushcraft & Girl in the Woods. So thanks for the free entertainment,.. LOL BTW, LOVE the map on the ceiling.
Religious thoughts, I feel that there is one God, but every person creates their own vision or way to believe. Thankyou both for sharing your journey, I love the way you live
I feel you are so honest and authentic with us and I so appreciate it. I a am closer to your mum’s age but in some ways you are so much more mature about knowing yourself and getting to being who you want to be.I enjoy and learn from you . Thank you🌸
I agree with you Sonia. I'm going to be 56 in April and admire Linnea so much... she is so much like my younger self. Linnea you and chris made me laugh so hard in this Q&A it made day. Thank you! You are truly a amazing women. 🤗
I have a very similar inner child. Took me to age 50 something to finally realize that others opinions of me, judgements of me, is really their own judgment that exists in them. Hope that makes sense. Im sure grateful I don't live their anymore.
I comb all my hair foreward, put it in a pony tail and cut a off 2 inches and then i let it all out and its layered. Been doing that for a long time. I grew up in the 70's so layered hair was a trend and its never left me. I also have wild hair like yours. Now with the style today i just scrunch it and its done
I enjoy your videos. You deserve some privacy. I hope that you don’t feel pressured into talking about things that most women don’t talk about in public.
I just stumbled across your channel, and I absolutely love it. For years I've been drawn to this type of lifestyle. It's not that I'm discussed with society, it's that I no longer want to be dependent on it to live my life. The only thing really holding me back is my horse. I think traveling would be very difficult for him. But I'm hoping to find a solution to that.
We sold our horses, they are well cared for and we can visit them anytime. Choose what is most important to you. With that said, horses are very social creatures they need to be with other horses.
That was fun😁. Couldn't sleep tonight so I caught up on some videos. It was nice just hanging out with you both. And the pups. Y'all have a good one. 😘❤❤❤🐾❤🐾
I love your mindset. I can relate on so many levels. I also want to say thanks to you and your channel, you've inspired me to get into van life. I just bought my first van a week ago. His name is Howard Moon (a reference to one of my fav TV shows The Mighty Boosh). I've left my horrible job to start something creative that I can take with me on my travels. It's scary, but this mundane lifestyle of working in a dead-end job, living in the city, the rat race just isn't for me. New year, a new chapter. X
Linnea, remember what you felt like then? It's really no different now. There are always people who feel they wear the judges robe. We all get judged. The difference now is not only your lifestyle but the fact that you are maturing as well. I like who you are. I also like who I am. The thing that is the same between us (I'm almost 70) is that with time, life experience is that we learn that it doesn't matter what other people think. There are those we value opinions from, but they are people who know the real us. Like your wise Dad said, just do you (and SOMETIMES let Chris help) 😂
You both remind me of a minimalist, earthy and insightful version of Jenna and Julian. I normally hate what classifies as an “influencer” these days, but you two are so lovely. Your words are inspirational and your thoughts are so down to earth. Definitely worth sharing and i’m glad we get a little view into it with these videos.
"I would rather be doing what I love and have a few material possessions" (paraphrasing) I feel the exact same way I can wait to live in my tiny home (converted suv), same as my dogs. These guys LOVE hiking and everything, same as me and we are so ready to be out Just 2 more years
This video you have up I can respect, because you said that you worked up to this point in your van lifestyle. Others wouldn't even say that, and just make it seem like it was so easy for them to do.
Chris is so sweet. Why aren’t there more men like him? The world would be a better place, especially for women.
I agree!!
I lived Van life for seventeen years on & off I think I hold a world record from raising three children teaching coast to coast and owning houses & property book touring

Even the planning is fun.
Thx again for your insight. Appreciated.
I’ll be so happy to be camping again I’m 75 and fully alive
@billbeck47 That’s the whole point of their channels-Linnea & Chris aren’t waiting til life passes them by. No deferred retirement for them.
I’m so sorry for all the horrible health problems your wife has gone through.
She’s fortunate to have your support #SendingHealing

@@the_mum I agree and understand. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Yes, it's important to make sure both people are on board. It's a lot of work to do it alone plus add a grown up child.
Yes for sure, love this analogy!
I totally agree. Accepting a gift..help whatever, honors the giver. Honor him as he honors you.
A good 2 cents if I do say so myself
Or you keep doing you.
Totally agree 💯.. when ur loved one offers help accept it..ur fortunate to have someone so loving n thoughtful.. 🙏🏼🌹
I'm with you Linnea, less money, more living. I worked and made money, had the mortgage cars debt and the stress that went with it. Today, debt free with enough to get by has made me the happiest I have ever been. It isn't hard when living in nature truly is the stuff of life!
Love your perspective and where you are at today, thanks for sharing 💛
I’ve found you never replace a dog with another you just give your love to another one. They’re all so different and so dam loveable. ❤
That child will be years ahead of its contemporaries. I think if its a girl they should call her Lenina or Precocious. If its a boy Candide or Dantes.
You two! A couple! How beautiful. I didn't realise until this vid.
You are a remarkable young woman and a breath of fresh air on the internet. 🧜♀️💘
Stay SAFE!!
You made me cry. Thank you for this video
I think that timeline of life for men before you have kids is so realistic. I don’t think most men are ready for family before their 40’s. I especially love that it’s because you want to be a huge part in raising them. Love this video 😊
yeah, but for most women dont work. having kids after 35 is already risk pregnancy, so they say
Sounds like you have a pretty sweet set up :) thank you for your kind words!
Thank you so much Judith! I really appreciate the sentiment about my laugh... makes me feel so happy that you notice it throughout my family! Big hug!
@@Linneaandakelawhen you laugh I hear your freedom and happiness and comfort and peace. It’s a beautiful laugh
I wish I had half as much optimism & tenacity as you! It rubs off on me a little bit more every video I watch of yours! Thank you for being a pick me up!
It is really fun reading all of the comments from people who really feel something fun and encouraging watching your videos!:)
Your gratitude for all things is inspiring. Thank you 🙏 😊
I’ve just found you on YT. I am so impressed with how well and candidly you articulate your feelings, both the light hearted and the more personal thoughts. Thank you for sharing your life. Wishing you all good things. ~ Allison
Great video. Chris is such a cool dude. I'm so happy for you guys. You guys seems like such a great couple💕💞.
I am so proud of your generation. I hope you change the path of our capitalist future.
You are such an amazing person. Your depth of thought and understanding are wise beyond your years. I love your authenticity. 🩷
I just have to say, I normally HATE Q&A videos from my subscriptions. But I’ve been watching Chris since his Class B and you since the buildout and I thought this Q&A was awesome and hilarious…especially the farts. Love u guys ❤
Your van’s aesthetic is amazing. If I was going to build out a van, I would totally do it like how yours is 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I have followed you on tiktok for quite awhile, love your TikToks.. You have me hooked now thank you
Just keeping on doing you…your authentic self. I think you are doing a really good job so far❣️🌲🌳🙏
I truly love your energy and I believe you are a light in this world. Keep rocking it out girl!!! 💜💜💜
Amanda, thank you so much 💛
As a 70 year old solo traveler , I am delighted to see you and Chris out exploring and enjoying. It is harder as you age to do all these things and waiting can mean you never have that freedom to explore. I am once again inspired by your answers and perspective. Let it ROLL and enjoy every minute
I keep considering this....I'm 65.
Linnea,
You and Chris are an inspiration for living simply, after 34 years of working my ass to the bone and suffering 4 heart attacks from making a living to support my home and wife, I was able to finally retire and slow down some and distressing from a couple of occupations.
You bless me so much with your honesty, etc. Blessings and prayers. Thank you for sharing your Wonderful story.
I can relate so deeply to your comment about “the skin” we are wearing. 💗💗💗 I would love to have a long deep conversation with you about life.
I honestly believe there are a lot of us watching you that feel the same about “living”.
Really like how you did some alone questions and then some with Chris 👍🏻
🤣😂🤣 the fart topic - love it Appreciate how real you can be with us 💋
This was one of your best videos. Thank you 😊
Your perspective on life and beauty is so refreshing!! It’s great for young women to be able to hear/ see this from you and be inspired, as opposed to other influences who focus on material possessions to bring them happiness! Really appreciate your honesty & always love your videos! ❤️
That shared laughter, that right there was perfect. X
I started my trek at 35 now off grid on my own property, no debt.
I wish I came to the sustainability years before I did.
Your an inspiration to people, keep it up.
I never got to dirtbag travel in my 20s so I’m about to embark on it in my 40s! ❤
Love witnessing the relationship between you and Chris.
*wisdom
Linnea, I really enjoyed your questions and answers on this video. Thank you Darrel
Thank you for your honesty. You are very interesting to listen to and I enjoy your videos.
Great idea - I would really like a video about feminine hygiene on the road. I get so nervous about periods when I'm camping and generally staying fresh. Not only so that I feel good about myself but also for health and to avoid UTIs.
I’m new to your channel. I’m 54. Chris’s timeline is so perfect and smart. I wish you two the best ❤
@@Linneaandakela if y'all ever head east to North Carolina, look me up!😊
Linnea, you are such a sweet soul.
♥️
Nobody 's in your shoes.....so their opinion shouldn't matter.....it's your life and you know your needs and likes....I love the way you think and live.....a roof over your head , eating , sleeping and live is all the important things we need. Enjoy and be happy 😊 ✌️🥰
Oh my goodness- I love the dynamic between the two of you- that type of dynamic is so important for your relationship to grow and develop. Seeing how easy you two can laugh and tease each other is so refreshing- so glad I found your channel.
Reminds me so much of me and my hub. Going on 23 years now. :) Respect. Humour. Teamwork. And the ever important alone time. Cheers!
Linnea, love your simple openess
Love your live and let live attitude. My dad was born in 1915 and now deceased, but he raised us with that attitude as well. It sure would make the world a more gentle place to live. By the way, my parents were 40 when I was born. Ya’ll have plenty of time!
Love your energy and enthusiasm you have. Also thank you for your openness on the questions ❤️
Absolutely. Thank you for watching!
Really appreciate your candor and honesty. It’s so fun to watch your interactions with Chris. You are always true to yourself and your values. Many of us have something to learn here! Keep going🥰
I had both my kids in the bath and found it totally empowering as a nature being, just trust yourself.
If You Like LOTR then you'll be entranced and fully entrenched with The Chronicles of Narnia, Candide by Voltaire and for a tear jerker - The old Man and The Sea and The Life of Pi
Love when you and Chris do the Q & A’s!! Y’all are both so open and honest!
LOL
BTW, LOVE the map on the ceiling.
Religious thoughts, I feel that there is one God, but every person creates their own vision or way to believe. Thankyou both for sharing your journey, I love the way you live
Absolutely, thank you for watching!
Good job with your Q. & A!!! Love your openness, honesty and vulnerability ❣️👍🏻👏👏👏🥰
I feel you are so honest and authentic with us and I so appreciate it. I a am closer to your mum’s age but in some ways you are so much more mature about knowing yourself and getting to being who you want to be.I enjoy and learn from you . Thank you🌸
Wow thank you so much, I really appreciate it 💛
I agree with you Sonia. I'm going to be 56 in April and admire Linnea so much... she is so much like my younger self. Linnea you and chris made me laugh so hard in this Q&A it made day. Thank you!
You are truly a amazing women. 🤗
You two are hillarious together ❤️
I have a very similar inner child. Took me to age 50 something to finally realize that others opinions of me, judgements of me, is really their own judgment that exists in them. Hope that makes sense. Im sure grateful I don't live their anymore.
"Die young, as old as possible" .
Watch rocket man's videos of his desert exploits.
I hope that you don’t feel pressured into talking about things that most women don’t talk about in public.
one of your all time sweetest vids. much love and appreciation to you Linnea, you guys are so fun to watch together too.
Thank you so much!
There are so many families that are raising their kids on the road I know they are living the Best life's
Love this! Yes, we will see what happens but it could be pretty rad :)
Love, love, love your life. You are so in tune with yourself & that is a once in a life time Beau you got there. Lots of love!
That was fun😁. Couldn't sleep tonight so I caught up on some videos. It was nice just hanging out with you both. And the pups. Y'all have a good one. 😘❤❤❤🐾❤🐾
Wonderful video. Fills me up with joy to see the closeness you share between you and Chris and you and Akela (and Kobuck!)
I love you 🥲 you’re fueling my inspiration at a very important time!!! Big things are happening in my life (with the help of Linnea and Akela)
Yes simplifying is so good .. not needing alot of material things even living in a home is good for you
Linnea, remember what you felt like then?
"I would rather be doing what I love and have a few material possessions" (paraphrasing)
I feel the exact same way
I can wait to live in my tiny home (converted suv), same as my dogs. These guys LOVE hiking and everything, same as me and we are so ready to be out
Just 2 more years
This video you have up I can respect, because you said that you worked up to this point in your van lifestyle. Others wouldn't even say that, and just make it seem like it was so easy for them to do.
