Some of us cannot eat legumes and nightshades. Thank God for animal protein. Some people don't appreciate our struggle. I would love to be able to eat potatoes and tomatoes, but the pain they cause in my joints is excruciating.
I've tried an NO supplement for years, it didn't do much for my numbers. I've had stubborn high blood pressure for 30+ years, I'm 68, 6'1, 170lb. I was on Atenolol for 20+ years. I now play at lot of pickleball and found if I play like over 3hr my BP would drop to like 70/45 so my doc switched me to HCTZ which gave me headache and ringing ears. So I quit HCTZ, I just tried for a few weeks now. Ashwagandha root powder (1/4 teaspoon) in 1/2 cup beet juice 2/day and a beetroot gummie. My numbers seem to be holding steady at 135/80. I'm so excited that it's working
This is the most clear presentation that I’ve seen so far. I’m having a grapefruit for breakfast with a piece of ham and flaxseed in my yogurt. Walnuts for a midmorning snack. Then roasted beets, boiled wax gourd with a bit of butter and Parmesan, and chicken for lunch, for dinner it will be fried eggplant with garlicky broccoli on the side, and a spinach salad with radishes. I’m excited!
That is due to A.I. watching every digital move we make on-line because I was also there and now I'm here: no coincidence. The goal is to know it and use for one's own benefit and intelligence instead of blindly obeying. For example, the voice-over is robotic although the information is beneficial and it was.
Thank you for the advice mam sir, I used to make my own salad like the one you said in your video for a long time in the end I stop making this salad, but I will come back again making this salad thank you very much mam sir, you have a great day be safe be healthy.... God bless you......
I am happy and totally agreed perfectly with your presentation . I’m doing every day following your advice and obtaining the best result. Thank you so much.
yes they are, people with gout, kidney stones, or high sensitivity need to be careful. For others as longs as you don't eat high levels all the time you should be fine.
I’ve dealt with Gout issues in the past, and I looked into this question. The explanation was a bit confusing, but what I remembered was that “spinach & beets=high oxalates=Gout” is not quite correct. I think it had to do with the amount of each that you consume; namely, you’d be sick of each long before you’d consume enough for the oxalate content to become an issue. Ultimately, the benefits of regular consumption of beets & spinach far outweigh the somewhat negligible risks. I sincerely hope that my in-depth, fact-filled response here helped answer your question and put your mind at ease.
It’s amazing when your body yearns for all these telling you so subtly what it needs more of. All people snacking should only be this and not the processed stuff we’re marketed towards
Thank you for this educational video! But I have a question, I have a long history of kidney stones so I have to avoid food with high oxalate levels such as spinach, eggplant, chocolate, and beets, all included in this list. Is the Beet root juice or are the capsules still rich in oxalates? Sounds like Beet root juice is the best thing for anyone but what about the oxalates??
You forgot to mention another food. Bacon. Regulations allow up to 7 ppm of added nitrites. This is a small amount compared to vast amounts in the aforementioned plants but there is some. Lately they have been adding celery salt (natural nitrates) for those who are against added nitrites. Still a small amount compared to the plant sources.
Whilst these foods are highly nutritious . The chemicals farmers spray on crops also contain extremely harmful substances that can affect the process of nitric oxide .
5 of those 10 items I do not like to eat at all. Therefore a tabled overview with amounts of 'ingredients' and a percentage increase of XYZ would have been more helpful than waffling about the benefits of each, which were nearly identical for most of them.
There is always something good and some not so, for different people. Some of the food mentioned is super high in oxalates: beets, spinach, eggplant, coco/dark chocolate, grapefruit , oranges, some green leafy vegetables and garlic. Arugula, kale, lettuce, lemons, pomegranates, broccoli, radish and meats are very low or don't contain oxalates.
Sure! Here are some important parts of your body and the foods that can help support their health: Brain: Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids like salmon, walnuts, and flaxseeds can support brain health and cognitive function. Heart: Incorporate foods high in soluble fiber like oats, beans, and fruits such as berries, apples, and oranges to promote heart health. Bones: Calcium-rich foods like dairy products, leafy greens (such as kale and spinach), and fortified foods like tofu and orange juice can help maintain strong bones. Eyes: Foods containing lutein and zeaxanthin, such as leafy greens, eggs, and colorful fruits and vegetables like carrots and bell peppers, can support eye health. Skin: Antioxidant-rich foods like berries, nuts, seeds, and vegetables (such as sweet potatoes and bell peppers) can help protect your skin from damage and keep it healthy. Digestive system: Fiber-rich foods like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and legumes promote digestive health by supporting regular bowel movements and maintaining gut flora balance.
