- In this video I show my vinyl collection from one of my favourite thrash bands Kreator ! Thank you for taking time out of your day to hang out with me 🤘 always appreciated 😊 Stay Heavy ~ Darcy
I jumped on the Kreator train in 1987. Here in Germany there was NO chance escaping them. I still have all my OG pressings up to "Renewal". My copy of "Terrible Certainty" came on red vinyl, Noise records did that back in the day, first pressings on coloured vinyl. My copy is also signed by the four original members playing on the record, Mille, Rob, Ventor and Tritze (well, he did not play that much on the album, hahaha)
Now, let me tell you a secret but psssst, don´t tell anyone, hahaha..... I bought the new one, actually the boxset and I really seem to start enjoying the album! Yes, the spell has been broken, I bought a 2022 record plus I´m starting to like "shitty" new Kreator stuff....oh boy!

Wicked cool Kreator collection! I'm really enjoying the new album. I haven't picked up too many new releases yet this year, but this one is a definite for me. I have to agree, with listening to this album in order and not just a random single here and there, it falls all into place. Been a longtime Kreator fan. Love the older stuff, yet I quite enjoy their output the past 20 years. Great stuff. They will always be one of my favorite thrash bands. Cheers Darcy!
Fantastic collection there Darcy. Better late than never in discovering old bands. The early and the 00s albums are killer. Their latest ones are up there as well, a very consistent band. Thanks for showing
Excellent collection Darcy. I've been a Kreator fan since the 80's. The only original I have on vinyl from back in the day is Extreme Agressiin, my red vinyl copy if Terrible Certainty got destroyed in my garage. I think the Noise boxset is my favourite box set, out of all the ones I own. Such great value, and excellent quality. Like you, I have pre ordered the Voivod one as well. I should probably pick up some more of Kreator's later albums, as I don't have any . Enjoyable and informative as always mate. Cheers 🍻 🤘
Very nice Kreator vinyl collection Darcy! I jumped onboard with Kreator around '92, when I came across the video clip of Betrayer on late night TV. Alot of people don't like the cover for Extreme Aggression, but I feel very much the same as you about it and love it. I know Cause For Conflict and Outcast was originally on Gun from memory, not sure about Endorama. I do like Endorama as well, it was a good different I think, dark and gothic sounding. Great video mate!
Violent Revolution-the band's opus magnum! My number one! It kicks asses good,not a single weak song there! One thought about the cover image and I wonder if you have an opinion on it-the cover is basically Coma Of Souls cover rehashed,don't you think? Is it possible that they wanted to sort of go back to the first chapter in their discography to which Coma Of Souls was a closing album and tell us "let's just skip off the nineties era and go back to where we were a truly ,100 % thrash metal band"? Because it seems to me like a subtle hint of that-let's go back to what we played on Coma Of Souls but with a new,fresh,modern energy.
Nice to see all of the Kreator vinyl. I'm still missing a couple but they will definitely be added. I have "Under the Guillotine" "Violent Revolution" & "Hate Uber Alles" box sets and they are all loaded with top quality extras. Great video Darcy 🤘💀🤘

Killer Kreator collection Darcy. I got into them through Renewal back in the early 90's. Still ranks as one of my favourites. That dark industrial sound and atmosphere! Pleasure To Kill is the only album still missing from my collection. Hope to get their new release in the mail within the next 10 to 15 days. Can't wait. Have a great week my friend 🍻.
Awesome Kreator vinyl collection Darcy! I wouldn't thought there's much more you need on vinyl now. I just think for me I need to listen to them more, there are a lot of albums I would like to check out. Just finding the time you know, great video man 😊🤘👍

Really digging the new album but I think I like Gods of Violence a little more. But time will tell maybe a year from now my opinion will change. Thanks for showing your collection take care Darcy.🤘
My Kreator vinyl are all OG's. I have Pleasure to Kill, Terrible Certainty, Out of the Dark....Into the Light(ep), Extreme Aggression & Coma of Souls...all Noise Originals. All the other albums from Kreator are cd because I don't rate them nowhere as highly as the early albums. I'm still trying to find an OG copy of Endless Pain & the Flag of Hate(ep). Great collection Darcy! I’ve always loved the cover of ‘Extreme Aggression’ & for exactly the same reason! It’s such the opposite to the album title! Black & Orange are good colours together too! Good to see you brother!🤘🏻

I never heard Kreator till Phantom Antichrist or any of the the german thrash bands up to that point. Heard of some but never listened to them. But Kreator blew me away and i started buying everything i could find from them. And from that i started to listen to the other German thrash bands as well and really got into Sodom too. Im with you on the new album. I had the cd in my truck all last week and just been rocking it out non stop. Great video! Hope you had a great weekend cheers!

Killer vinyl collection mate. Kreator are my favourite German thrash band and I’m getting close to owning them all. I think im only missing 3 - 4 albums now. It was an awesome box set that came out a couple of years ago. I’m still spinning Hate Uber and really like it so far. Great vid my friend
Hate Über Alles is already my favourite album of ‘22 , Voivod & Destruction are up there too ! Megadeth is the next big one I’m looking forward too ! Cheers BVD 🍻

I can say I haven’t heard any of those albums ever, I know the videos and so called‘singles’, I did check out two of the songs from the new one and they were killer, awesome collection indeed.
I know you like a lot of the same thrash I do so it sounds like it’s time for you to check out some Kreator 😉
Fantastic collection, Darcy! So far, I only have 'Violent Revolution' and the boxset of the new record on Vinyl, but I definitely have designs on changing that, these all look great! Guteed I missed out on that boxset, but I maintain a hope that one day I'll find it at a reasonable price! 😂 I completely agree that they've done plenty of experimentation with their direction over the years and I personally love the sound they've settled on over the last 5 or 6 records. 'Enemy of God' is another personal favourite for me.

I've actually really learned to like Cause For Conflict alot. There's some great tracks on it. And I really love the songs LOST and ISOLATION. And in my opinion those two songs or two of my most favorites from the awesome! KREATOR. Great collection Darcy 🙂take care brother🤘🍺
Isolation is my favourite song off of Cause For Conflict ! I know that’s my least favourite album but I can honestly say with a straight face that Kreator has not made a bad album … different album yes … bad not a chance ! Cheers Steve 🍻
I have been an ardent KREATOR fan for almost 30 years. I saw them live 6 times and...three days ago I finally listened to Hate Uber Alles for the first time. HOLY SHIT!!! I will be honest,I know this is a fresh album, and it takes at least a few weeks of constant listening to "settle in" but I can already say that without a doubt this is one of the strongest albums in the band's entire discography.Incidentally,the latest Voivod's music...I don't know, I find it rather disappointing and pretty dull. I know they tried to go back to their roots a bit but Voivod is one of those bands -when one of the musicians dies-the band will never be able to recover. Music-wise,I mean...

I’m still missing a few of the later ones in vinyl. But have the cds. Some on cassette. I always say how many copies of one album does a person need. My answer when it comes to Kreator is. All of them haha.
I’m in full agreement with you on hate Uber alles. So killer. Been playing it non stop since Saturday. It sounds to me like a logical progression from gods of violence. I gotta get a video done of the box set.
Last Friday was an epic day at the ToxicTrace household. The hate Uber alles box arrived as did the long awaited violent revolution box set. What more could I ask for haha.

Great collection Darcy. Def should be proud to own all those, what a band. Thanks too you I even know who they are, there simply a band with killer riffs, melody, and great vocals. Your video has prompted me to revisit some Kreator records I hadn't heard in a long time, including Endless Pain and Renewal... two records that, if you didn't look at the covers, you might not know they were the same band. Seen them a few times live and now I'm not sure why I don't own any of those live albums. Must correct that. Oh, and that Voivod box set? Oh, yes... it will be mine. It WILL be mine. LOL. Cheers.

Oh,Coma Of Souls. Great album,but not their best in my opinion. Last year I managed to buy a special CD edition with a bonus CD /live bonus tracks/ and absolutely amazing booklet inside or a mini-book rather with rare band photos,tickets,demo covers and the cover was a bit different. Darker for sure but maybe it was just a different printing technique? Whatever,a brilliant re-issue for sure. And,regarding Endorama,I have been defending this album since it came out- I really think it is a very valuable and interesting band's step into a different territory. A one-shot step but still ,very refreshing. I still listen to it from time to time :)

Great video Darcy! Like you I was late getting to the Kreator party, but since I have, it’s been a wonderful experience getting to discover all their awesome classic material. My first experience with them back in the day was the Renewal album, so I figured that’s what they were like. This was waaay before you could just easily check all their songs out, of course. Well fast forward to Phantom Antichrist & luckily I finally gave them another shot! I loved that album and HUA, but nothing beats their classics. Btw, I’ve been lucky enough to see em twice since.Keep up the good work bro!🤘🏼

Hordes of Chaos is underrated in my opinion.

I didn’t start listening to Kreator until this year. I agree that it has almost been more fun discovering them now! It’s amazing to see how many great bands that I missed in the 80s. I would love to see you do a Voivod ranking, this is another band that I have heard of since I was a kid but have never listened to.

Nice Kreator collection you have. Started with Kreator back in '86, so do have a lot on OG. Did not care for Renewal when it came, do only have the cd, and I still don't like it very much. Cause Of Conflict, Outcast and Endorama I don't have in my collection. I mean, Endorama is ok, but don't like it enough to buy it. That later reissue of Violent Revolution does not look good, and I always wonder why labels do stuff like that. But a killer album. Do not collect live albums that much, but some absolute killer covers on those.
I love a good reissue but I do not like when they alter the original cover , unless it’s some kind of anniversary reissue then I’m ok with it ! Thanks for watching 🤘 Cheers Roger
Have a 1991, 2005, 2006, 2011 x 2, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017 Kreator shirts. The 2011 was Wacken Open Air and Czech Republic Brutal Assault Fest. Only band I have more shirts of is, Slayer. I have 15 tour shirts.

@@darcysixstringsninelives3493 I don’t if you seen the Phantom Antichrist cd/ dvd release. They released the 2011 Wacken Open Air concert I saw. Looking at the stage, I was near the left video screen. That was as close as I could get that night.

Coma Of Souls is my all time favourite, the perfect balance between aggression and melody. The first stuff is absolutely essential and It was a huge influence for the first black metal bands. Last stuff, for me, is not as good, abusing of sing-a-long choruses, lack of the classic evil in Kreator's music.

Awesome collection. You're certainly making up for lost time just like me with Running Wild! I didn't realise you had the lot on vinyl. I like the European cover better than the US one too. So I went to that bridge on the Terrible Certainty cover (Charles Bridge, Prague) with the idea of taking a photo of me in that pose but it's constantly busy as hell unfortunately.

@@darcysixstringsninelives3493 Really hard to recommend one album because it is band that goes all around. But I thought because Kreator's Yli-Sirniö used to play in band. Couple different I could mention "So Fine", "Fuckadelican Garden", "A sign" and "Helsinki". I would say you'll find something different things from those. And then there is more with dance or rap touch. And Yli-Sirniö's guitar work. Of course he has also done great work with band called Barren Earth.
