5D Classic Cabin Walk

- A walk along the tiny mountain roads near our cabin property, in the mountains of Taichung, in Taiwan.
After using the 6D exclusively for the last few months, I have been feeling more and more of a pull back to the 5D Classic. So, that ended up being the camera I used for all of the photos.
You know what? It feels good to have the 5D Classic back in my hands. I absolutely love the output and I can't help but to just smile the entire time I am using it, even after all these years.

Perfect timing. I was going to look for some vintage DSLR videos to watch and when I opened RUclips this video was in my notifications.
I've always assumed my upload timing was bad for most viewers, due to my time zone. Glad to hear it worked out, this time.

That cabin. That's where I want to live when I move to Taiwan. I'll host your family's weekend getaways. My grandsons can spend weekends with me. Maybe I'll find that special someone while I'm there? Between the beautiful tropical seashores and beaches and the mountain jungles, that really is a tropical garden paradise. A retired guy could live out his days very happily there, don't you think?🥰😍
It's one of the best places to live, I think. Definitely hard to beat. You should see the east coast. It looks straight out of dream.
Like your matter of fact and experience videos with Classic Canon cameras. Coming from Fujifilm APSC XT-1/XT-20, I am appreciating the shooting experience with the full frame 5D Classic and 6D Mark 1. They are great cameras and liking their simplicity very much, and the images you can get with them paired with affordable Canon glass.
I am a big fan of the older Fuji stuff. I owned the X-Pro1, X-T1, X100, and X10 when they were "current". Really loved all of those cameras. Even that little X10 was great to use. Later, I owned the X-E2, the X-H1, the X-T30, etc. I didn't like those nearly as much. I never really fell in love with the output the way I did with the older stuff. The up side is that if you are like me and like the older stuff from Fuji (or Canon, or Nikon, etc) then you can end up really enjoying photography and loving the results while simultaneously saving a lot of money.
Nice video. Took my 5d out yesterday! Where’d ya get that square hood for the 40mm?
I actually 3D printed it because I really wanted a square hood and couldn't find one for the 40mm anywhere.
