i prefer analesas (eng) dub of firefly when it comes to the rest of her dialogue, like in the story quests for example, but when it comes to battle voice lines id def say my favorite is rirus (jp). i like how riru made firefly have more of a quiet determination
I honestly like the VA fine outside of combat but in combat I found it annoying after a period of time her screeching got annoying. I get it that she desperately wants to live but honestly I just got annoyed at it thank god for the Japanese dub which make her sound like a competent soldier with a determination to live than in the eng va but then again it’s just my opinion
People here are losing their minds hard because of how loud Firefly sounds in EN. But remember, she's putting on an act as SAM, so might as well make the act as dramatic as ever in the process. Nobody is forced to like it, but at least to me, Analesa did a very good job at capturing that trait of Firefly. Even with all four versions being as great as they are, EN is my favorite.
I'm so conflicted about this... because i play in EN since 1.0 and i like every single line in the game, including Firefly when she talks normally... but you guys gotta forgive me cuz i can't stand the way she speaks during her ult. Sadly it happened to one of the most hyped characters in the game and one of my favorites...

Normally I play Jp dub on PC and En Dub on mobile but Firefly made me play the game with english voices on PC. her battle lines are awesome, especially on 2x speed!

I shall set the seas ablaze! you're only sayin that because you don't understand the other languages. as someone who understands basic Japanese conversation what she says on her ultimate is simplified English when translated. 自分のために戦うよ。すべてが…燃え尽きるまで！ which basically translates to: "I will fight for myself. until everything burns out!" あたしは…星海を燃やし尽くす！ translates to: I will... burn down the Star Sea!

English Firefly really hits different. Analesa Fisher did a fantastic job on everyone's favourite adorable waifu.

-in battle i prefer Japan
