Just discovered your channel great stuff. Love Boland and his music. Proud Souls live at Billy Bob’s is one of the best. You should do a review of The Great Divide -Amarillo Windmill, the original Red Dirt Band headed by Mike McClure which is much different than his current band.

Loved that! Thanks Don.. great discovery.. I was born a Yankee raised in the buckeye state.. lived in Michigan... then Danville, Kentucky where I was introduced to country music.. and now live in Alabama but somehow I'm a Texan at heart... even though I never lived there... COUNTRY MUSIC FOREVER!

Freaking great song! Great reaction too! The subtle references of "rays through a Shiner Bock bottle" & the fade out of The Yellow Rose of Texas are brilliant!
The studio version is much better for hearing the musicality of this song. “Comal County Blue” is another great song from this group.

I'm from Oklahoma been a fan since the beginning. He deserves more credit, amazing voice, songwriter and musician. Kid Rock remade Jason's Telephone Romeo. Which was renamed Purple Sky.

Hello from a new subscriber! This has nothing to do with this particular video. I want to introduce you to my favorite female voice since Patsy Cline, Bobbie Cryner. She's a singer/songwriter that for some unexplainable reason, only released 2 albums in the mid-nineties. I recommend her "You'd Think He'd Know Me Better". It's from her 2nd album, "Girl of Your Dreams". The whole record is nothing short of a masterpiece. Tom
She also wrote "Real Live Woman" recorded by Trisha Yearwood. Love that song. Would love to hear it sung by Bobbie!
