15:16 I love how you accidentally turned a mistake into it's own tip Thanks for the guides! You didn't need to, but having these episodes is finally getting me to do the switch from RS to AE2
When AE2 first came out, I remember hating it because of how different it was compared to AE1. Your original series was what finally helped me come around to seeing just how powerful and fun AE2 is! And now here I am trying to relearn AE2 while playing Stoneblock 3, and I am very pleased to find that you have updated your tutorial! This couldn't have come at a better time!
I would never have learned this mod with out yall love everything yall do many of the tutorials yall ha e done have saved me hours of trial and error the gods of minecraft have returned
If you have the Storage Drawers mod, you can hook up the Storage Bus to the Drawer Controller, creating a poor man's ME Drive network. The downside to this method is the amount of storage space you'll need for drawers to fit all the items from various mods.
I finally appreciate that recent modpacks have RS because I'm playing Project Ozone 3 and dear God my head hurts from all the things you have to do in AE2, the most annoying thing being channels who ever thought that the idea of limiting channels would be fun is a sadist... besides all of that awesome videos, you make my AE2 hell much, much more bearable.
Yeah I only ever used RS, now I have to use AE, but man...they made some choices...it definitely seems like they've made it unnecessarily complicated at times
Hey - just wanted to say these videos are awesome and thank you so much for making them. Rocking a valhesia 5 play through right now and this playlist changed the game for me
RS is just so much more user friendly. I get that if you really enjoy this kind of technical stuff you might really enjoy AE, but for the person who just wants to connect there storage things, RS is the way
So I have a question, anytime I change the order of the Controller, I only get 11 channels and that's it, I can't increase it even after adding a smart dense cable to it
I'm trying to do the fluix dust automation that you mentioned. I'm confused about the part where items are taken out of a chest and then dropped using the formation plane. I have a small network that has an import bus connected to a formation plane and it's powered (by my main network with a quartz fiber bridge), but when I drop items into my chest, they don't get pulled out by the import bus
@The MindCrafters I have a problem with some crafting recipes, where they state missing item, its been bugging me out quite a lot we are playing a custom modpack with friends. Do you know what could cause it? I wanted to automate the last process in the guide Fluix dust, it always says Missing Ingridient "Nether Quartz" but I have around 2k nether quartz in my system. Had the same Issue for other crafting recipes.
This feel like a 301 speed run course. Do you have longer videos where you spend 5 - 10 minutes on each component, setting it up, using it and troubleshooting? I'm trying to use an interface, where I want to export sand to a hopper over a running furnace when I've got less that 100 glass in my network. I'm honestly not even sure if an interface is the right tool for the job. Thank you for remaking this series. A long long time ago, (not sure how many years, could have been 7) I got AE2 doing autocrafting. 3 years ago I tried it again, and couldn't get things lined up and functioning correctly. I feel like I just have to play with it.
Use an export bus with a level emitter pointed at it. Set the level emitter to emit a red stone signal to the export bus when you have less than 100 glass in the system. Add a red stone card to the export bus to accept the signal. Should do the trick.
Question: I had two parallel cable lines connecting to two separate faces of a dense cable and was dropping 3-4 lines between the two while using regular glass cables. When I switched only the pieces that were touching the dense cable over to smart cables those same lines became active. I didn't change anything else besides the glass cable connection that met with the dense cable sides. Do smart cables have some sort of advantage over glass cable for routing your channels through to the best spot? Do you have any idea why this happened?
Any clue on why I dont have the block placement option on my formation plane? I was trying to make the fluix crafter but sadly I cant seem to figure out why its not there. Playing all the mods 8
Hello. Quick question, you said every side of the controller can take up to 32 channels, that would be limited by the cable itself. So, does than mean a single controller network can handle up to 128 devices?
each face of a controller (including multiblocks) provide 32 channels per face. depending on how many exposed faces your controller multiblock has, you can have many, many, many channels. however with just one controller, with six faces, you can pull out 192 channels
@@SamyasaSwi Then it shouldn't include the use of other mods if it is only focused on AE, if other mods are to be used for a demonstration, an explanation should be given for how AE works with other mods.

Also it creates a good bit of lag...

Fortunately ae2 channels can be turned off in the config

i literally yawned right when you said "hang in there we are almost done" then starting laughing my ass off.
That comment was just as much for me as it was for the viewers...the video took forever to make lol
I like how Jack Sparrow is teaching me AE2 mod in a block game

The Tutorial Series is amazing, keep it up man
Hell yeah, you guys are back. Finally
I could've never understand this myself thanks to you guys i can somehow make my system work
This is all the fun of network engineering without most of the bullshit
Thanks for all the great vids.
This was perfect. Thank you!
Flaws! You are, only human afterall!
Throwing that shade @ them RS people! DO it more!

24:57 just a question, normally, they won't have access with the security terminal on, right?

What are the other relevant mods that you are using in these videos
biometric card doesn't work, do u know how to do that?
Any clue on why I dont have the block placement option on my formation plane? I was trying to make the fluix crafter but sadly I cant seem to figure out why its not there. Playing all the mods 8
Same problem here, this is 1.19, no button for switching from block placement to drop item
Once you add an item to the whitelist of the Formation Plane, the filter option will appear in the interface

What @mestrophis said. :)
Only real complaint is showing the use of other mods, but then not explaining how it can work with those mods.
That would make the video's even longer. This is just focusing on AE
