      @@TheMindCrafters I should note tho, that the last autocrafting setup does not quite work for me though. I use All the Mods 8, trying to make the system use ingot essences I grow to automatically craft ingots on its own, but if I try to set the export bus to export the ingots, it will not craft them (yes I have a small Bertha, lol, and a pattern provider+assembler with the recipe), it will merely pull existing ingots from the system thru the bus. What am I missing?

    Of note, THE PATTERN PROVIDER DOES NOT PULL, the assemblers push to adjacent inventories. This is important for returning items to the network, you need to push the result into a provider with an item pipe of some sort, or if the machine auto-pushes.

    FYI, the "Emit redstone pulse to craft" Is designed for farms that don't need an input to """craft""" new items. Say you have a wheat farm, you can use that pulse to tell the farm to output wheat to the ME system. This is nice if you don't have a ton of room in your system and for some reason don't want it just in a storage box available to the network, or if you need to tell it to harvest or something.

    At the point where you're automating Mekanism, you probably should have automated all your raw materials to the point where you don't need the export crafting anymore. You should have a crushing factory somewhere, keeping a steady stock of all the common dusts in the system. Maybe the modpack contains sophisticated storage and have a barrel with the capacity limited to a single stack as a buffer. That's a good way to keep bonsai grown resources in a limited stock and not clogging your systems with 500k charcoal and logs.

    unfortunately the provider setups shown at 19:52 could potentially break because the closest connection is ambiguous meaning some of the providers could go horizontally to the left before going down, hogging up the channels they arent supposed to.even if this setup seems to work without issue it could potentially break when reloading the world or reconnecting them to the controller. the only way to fix it that i found is to use 4 p2p tunnel pairs per one dense cable/controller face to make sure the only possible connection is vertical(in this case)

    Originally mentioned by @colefehring1203 in the last video to explain the Level Emitter crafting mode: It creates a crafting process within the Terminal similar to putting a pattern into an interface. When you request that item, it then turns on the emitter. Once the item requested enters the system, it turns back off again. This way you can turn on a larger system or computercraft program that will create a specific item.

    Be wise with an auto crafter guys, since it crafts so fast and you do not see any of it, you tend to go willy-nilly on making too many items and you wonder where are you resources went to

    I don't know if you keep answering comments, I hope you do because I have a problem with autocrafting I can't seem to solve, here is what is happening:
    * What the problem is:
    In short: Molecular assemblers (and other crafting/process units) do not output their contents into their respective pattern provider.
    In Long: I build a network that is purely AE2 (no mods used, though they are installed), and tried to make a basic autocrafting system. I went into creative mode and copied, piece by piece the system shown in 2:49 gave it some planks and made a pattern for making crafting tables, put it to work with 10 of those; but it did not work. Inspecting the system, the molecular assembler did actually produce the crafting table, but it did not give it to the pattern provider and then into the network. Manually taking the crafting table from one to the other continued the process.
    With further testing to the system I found that:
    1: Pattern Providers do benefit from co-processor and can use all the molecular assemblers they want (but never get the output).
    2: Furnaces and similar blocks also do not return their output.
    3: Energy, channels, item storage space, and crafting bytes were not the problem as I maxed them out in creative.
    * My precarious solution:
    If I use blocks that automatically 'sucks' contents of an inventory (like the import bus) and attach it to the molecular assembler, and therefore automatically takes the contents of it, then the problem is solve, but for every molecular assembler I want to use I have to use another channel.
    EDIT: I upgraded the system, using Mekanist's logistic pipe to automatically suck the contents of every single molecular assembler, move it to a barrel, and the barrell is connected to the import bus; therefore using just 1 extra channel, although the problem remains and its very tiresome to have to make reparations for this.
    * What I'm playing:
    Minecraft 1.19.2
    Forge 43.2.0
    OptiFine
    Just Enough Items
    Journey Map
    Biomes O Plenty
    Applied Energistics 2

    i wish you had shown the wiring under the botania example. I’m not sure how a “sub network” is supposed to be connected

    • @techwizsmith7963
      @techwizsmith7963 Год назад

      They're not connected at all, really. They're two separate networks that both have access to the same inventory block, like a chest.
      Main network puts items into the chest for a crafting recipe, baby network pulls out specific items from the chest at all times to go into the processing chain, then puts all of the outputs back in the chest at all times. Then, main network pulls out finished product from the chest, autocraft complete.
      The reason you do this with the botania setup is that the ae block placer isn't actually a block placer, it's a storage space that stores blocks in the world. Then the destruction plane can break them when they change. No clue why they designed it like that, but oh well

    How do I set up big boxes of pattern providers with assemblers? I tried to set up one with 48 pattern providers that were all surrounded by molecular assemblers on all 6 sides. I had 2 dense cables running into it and tried wrapping them around the structure in every conceivable way but but only about half of the pattern providers would recieve channels and connect to the system. I tried shaving off parts of the structure, so I just had 32 pattern providers and assemblers in a 2x4x8 cubiod and had a single dense cable run along it but it still wouldn't use all the channels on the cable and left pattern providers with missing channels. My problem appears to be that the pattern providers only transfer the channels to the nearest other pattern providers and not throughout the structure. But even if I try to run other cables into the pattern providers without channels, they still don't recieve channels.

    • @Wheres_my_Dragonator
      @Wheres_my_Dragonator Год назад

      Assemblers only carry 8 channels. So you have to make sure there are extra separated cables (either with anchors or just different colors) connected to different assemblers. So if you want to use 16 assemblers and 16 providers (32 total), you have to attach a different part of a dense cable(s) to at least 4 different assemblers. If you want to go bigger than that, you'll have to attach additional dense cables from the me controller.

    I'd rather not reserve a mekanism machine to make a single item. Better to have the infusing materials stored also in the network. Possibly needs another mod that adds chemical storage.
