Nope. I’m turning from sins in order to have a better, more fruitful, productive life now. I could never earn my way to heaven. Praise God eternal life is a free gift 🙌🏻🙏🏻
No one is good enough to go to Heaven on their own. If one can make it to Heaven based on good merit/works, then there is no need for Jesus Christ to die on the Cross.
Life is definitely better when we are not slaves to sin. We certainly can’t earn our way through the pearly gates though
@@7stringst3r I hear ya
Exactly that’s the point
Good on you friend 🙏🏾
I'm not turning from my sins in order to be saved, but because I'm saved.
That is it!!
You really can't turn away from all sin even if you tried. It's a worthy effort in the eyes of man,but won't mean much on judgment day.
Just ask God to help you walk in the spirit and not the flesh 🙏
@@emmpakMight help at the Bema seat of judgment.
@gregorylatta8159 According to Bible Scripture......it won't!
“Many are trusting in their behavior rather than the Savior!” Very good way of saying it brother!!!
true facts
I used to try to obey the 10 commandments so I wouldn't go to hell, but I continually failed. Then I learned that Jesus Christ fulfilled the law perfectly FOR us!!!! He is a SAVIOR! I trust in HIS PAYMENT alone for my salvation. And John 5:24 says I have salvation now, and I will not come into condemnation. I am so grateful for Jesus' sacrifice for us!!!
Right but u should still wanna keep Jesus commandments cus just think how I rewards gone be if we do 😃😅😂he probably gone give u a flying car for one of your rewards u never know 😂💯
@@tinacarson4792 that’s good keep on going I’ll see u on the other side 😂😂💯
A burden lifted.
That's what I tried to tell my husband I said the ten commandments is in the Old testament and I literally had the ten commandments on the wall because another thing my church said was we didn't have to follow the old laws but we still have to follow the ten commandments so I was like oh okay. And so every time I look at it I read it lol I guess I'm just not understanding anything because how did I not know this I got saved 5 years ago but they didn't teach like this. The church I went to and got baptized and saved in was repent of your sins except Christ he'll give you the holy Spirit and then you get baptized and I guess it like shows your faith which is why they do it but also like to be sanctified or something I don't know I don't remember it was 5 years ago but that's what they taught us. And they kind of put the pressure on us a little bit like hey you're coming to this church now you're brand new you should probably get saved and get baptized and it was like kind of pushed on us. I've always believed in God since I was a kid I just never lived like I believed in him I always committed lots of sins and did my own thing So then I started questioning myself cuz the pastor's wife was like well once saved always saved is not biblical so it's basically you have to work and to stop sinning and to keep repenting constantly all throughout the day every day to keep your salvation is pretty much what she was telling me but she said she didn't really know how to explain it I'm like well okay so it made me question my salvation it made me question every single thing and I got so stressed out with it I was I almost walked away.
@Benjamin_694 But I think if you are priding yourself on the notion that you ARE obeying the 10 commandments, you loose sight on how much God hates pride.
I am turning from sin because I am grateful to God for saving me from hell!
Yes and quite frankly because I feel like absolute trash when I sin. Sin sucks!

@@bighand1530 The truth sets you free like a bird.
Wow, I’ve been a Christian for 41 years (chosen from the beginning), and never looked at the scriptures from the angle of Turning from sin being a “works” based principle of the salvation experience. Wow, our faith is counted as righteous not our works or “turning from sin”. I think I finally got set free! -Not to sin as I wish but to know that the substitutionary death of Christ has paid for all my present past and future sins and that the law is the very thing that condemns me and only faith in Christ and the gift of salvation is the only thing that secures my future in heaven with Christ! Thank you young Mr. Diamanté! Blessings and Love you man!
I, also, remember the day I realized JESUS PAID FOR me, NOT me paying for myself 🎉
He who the Son sets free is free indeed! May God bless you ❤.
The holy spirit purges us from sins i have not changed my self only the holy spirit has changed me,
Turning to the Lord Jesus Christ is the true repentance. Because believing in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to get out of sin.
Even the demos believe and shudder. Belief isn’t enough. You have to have faith, which means to trust him. This would lead to repentance and your desire will be for Him. If you have no desire to flee from sin, you aren’t saved.
Don’t confuse this with trying to earn salvation. Jesus already accomplished that for us and there’s no way we could do that anyway, but if you’re faith is legitimate, there will be evidence. Your life will produce fruit consistent with that faith.
God speaks through you truly, brother Onorato. What a mighty instrument He has found to proclaim Him mightily!
I never got many gifts in life. But I cherish the greatest gift. I have Jesus. What more can a man ask for?
There is NO GREATER DECISION than accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! I am so happy in knowing that the Son of God lives within my heart! Thank you Jesus, for being my Lord and Savior and for the forgiveness of all my sin, by your precious blood. I love you and serve you with all my heart.
The happiness of your post, makes me happy too. What a great God we have indeed.
If you're saying that one must accept Jesus as their Lord by loving and serving him, that is works-based salvation. All one does to be saved is to believe that they have eternal life through Jesus Christ (1 John 5:10-13).
@@michaelc7418nonsense
Nonsense. Those who say we have to turn from sin are not arguing that you have to follow the Law to get saved. They are saying that repentance means turning from sin. I don’t necessarily agree. But you are twisting what they are saying. None of the teachers you are talking about (Ray Comfort, John MacArthur, Voddie Baucham, etc.) teach that you have to obey the Law to be saved. They are very clear about that. They are referencing an attitude toward sin, not a work or righteousness or law-keeping. Hopefully, you’re not one of those that believe that repentance is not necessary for salvation. I did notice that you skipped all the verses that teach that a sinner must repent for forgiveness of sin and salvation.
@@toddstevens9667 Turning from sin is to follow the law. If you turn from stealing, you turn from breaking the commandment in the law: "Thou shalt not steal."
Changing your attitude towards sin is changing your attitude towards keeping the law, so that is also not for salvation.
There is a reason why numerous salvation verses don't mention repentance or turning from sin to have eternal life, they only mention belief in Jesus (John 3:16, John 5:24, John 6:47). Repent means to turn or change, so in regards to salvation, repent from unbelief to belief in Jesus. One can repent of anything, not just sin.
This is slowing getting through my thick skull 🙂☝️

Amen me too. Having to undo decades of teaching of the western church.

Its good stuff,
The law never justifies anyone before God. Only God's Grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Thank God for his finished work. Believe in that alone
I love Jesus, my Savior and Lord. When I believed on Him, when I trusted in the blood that He spilled for me, He removed my sin from me as far as the east is from the west and they'll be remembered no more. But that wasn't enough for my redeemer, He the clothed ME in His righteousness. What an awesome and wonderful God! PRAISE JESUS! COME SOON LORD!
It is so difficult for people to believe this message, it goes against the flesh. It is almost impossible for us to accept God's grace and that we are saved simply through faith in the Savior.
Amen brother, thank you for this video. A lot of people have been discouraging me of my salvation when I know I'm saved through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. If we weren't saved by faith alone then Jesus dying on the cross for our sins would of been for nothing! Trust your Lord and savior Jesus for what he has done so you can have eternal life! God bless, in Jesus mighty name! Hallelujah
Repentance is not "turning from sins” in order to be saved. It is turning toward the all sufficient Saviour Jesus Christ alone for your salvation, who died for all your past, present & future sins.
But doesn't the Bible say that we should turn from sins? Because isn't there a scripture somewhere in the New testament I've read this before once or twice that idolaters fornicators murders etc will not enter the kingdom of heaven. I mean isn't that pretty clear? Also my church teaches you have to turn from your sin when they lead you into being saved and getting baptized.
@@statesashley0416 The Bible never says that because you read a corrupt version that pushed a works based salvation.
@albertjmajor1973 you are wrong
@@alexrizov3395 You are wrong because since you have the wrong definition of repentance you erroneously believe that a hellbound sinner has his own ability to take rid of his own sins instead of the power of Christ’s Sufficient Blood to take away the person’s sins 🤦🏽♂️

Grace + Faith In Christ Alone =Salvation!!!
Matthew 7:21-23 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them*, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
@caleburias5596 Galatians 1:8-9
8 But though* we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. The Gospel Is 1st Corinthians 15:1-4
🙏🙏 Please Read The Gospel!!!
@caleburias5596 Ephesians 2:8-10 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
@caleburias5596 So You Are Saying That You Are Without Sin Sir? 1 John 1:8
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Also Your Faith Is Not In The Lord But In Yourself!!! Because You Are Focusing On Sin!!!
Roman 6:16-17 states. "You are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin, which leads you to death, or of obedience to teaching, which leads you to righteousness." And 1 John 3:8-9 states, "Whoever sins belongs to the Devil. No one, who is begotten by God, commits sin." Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, please examine yourselves sincerely and determine which category you belong to. Many of you believe some verses in the Bible, think they know and follow Christ, and are saved; and find themselves to be in the first one. Why? Because they do not truly know Christ, nor the True Faith, and are separated from the Source of Grace like branches separated from the Vine (John 15:6).
St. Paul said in 1 Cor 9:27, "I chastise my body and bring it into subjection, lest perhaps, after I have preached to others, I myself should become a reprobate." St. Paul, an Apostle, was concerned about the possibility of losing his salvation and said "work out your salvation with fear and trembling (Phil 2:12)", thus proving that 'Once Saved, Always Saved', 'Faith alone", or 'Predestined" is a complete lie from Hell, and that the salvation requires a great efforts on our part to truly live according to Our Lord's Commandments of Love and observing All He commanded as taught by His One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church (Matt 28:20), pillar and foundation of Truth (1 Tim 3:15), so that we may be transformed into the True Image and Likeness of Christ (Rom 8:29, 2 Cor 3:18); because, we are judged, not by Faith, but according to our deeds and works (Rev 20:13, 22:12. Matt 25:31-46), as only those who OBSERVE All the teachings and PERSEVERE TO THE END (Matt 24:13) are justified (Rom 2:13).
God bless your ministry brother, so very clear and full of the Spirit of Christ. Christ indeed is magnified!
Thank you! You are such a great teacher of the truth of Gods word. GOSPEL MEANS GOOD NEWS. Jesus paid it all, all we do is believe and recieve what has already been accomplished at the cross of Calvary!
Excellent video. Great job. I really needed to hear this. Keep up the good work. You, Ralph Yankee Arnold, Daniel Maritz, Jesse Martinez, and Frank Turek are my favorite preachers.
You truly are great bro, God bless you man.
Yes! Salvation is from Jesus alone. Once you are saved the Holy Ghost will do the work to make you who God wants you to be and that’s for sure not a sinner so if we obey the Holy Ghost we will be doing the Lords Will but even if we fall short in our actions his grace is efficient to cover ALL of our sins. No need to stress yourself out trying to live the letter of the law. God wants relationship with us not mindless law following. We live Holy because we love God not to save ourselves.
Nice way of saying this.
This guy hands down creates my favorite content in regard to Christianity.
Thank you brother for sharing this.
I understand there is no amount of obedience that will ever save us,
only trusting in the finished work of Christ for our salvation alone by believing in faith.
I do love how you rightly divide the word of Truth, but! at the same time, I do believe that we should all have a contrite and godly sorrow towards our sin nature and long to run from the temptations of our sin.
And just because we know and believe the truth of eternal security, does not mean that we cannot preach against the very sin that Christ paid the price for.
Of course, we should preach hard against sin and the high cost of discipleship. However, we don’t conflate what should be done after salvation with what must be done to be saved (Acts 16:31).
Recently, Ailstair Begg stated "we are not saved by works, we are saved for works." I have been given peace by doing the work of turning from my sins only by the help of Jesus. Praise God. Stay strong in the LORD and in the strength of His might, brothers and sisters.
Excellent message which contains all the scripture support needed to back up the title!
He will write the laws in are hearts with love. Thanks and glory to you oh lord jesus christ.
if i turn from sin to go to heaven then salvation is now a reward instead of a free gift.....
No, You have to follow his commandment. Read what Jesus said
I guess we’re just skipping the part where Jesus constantly said “go, and sin no more”. “Shall we sin further so that grace may abound? May it never be..”
This is a watered down definition of faith, lacking depth. Faith IS obedience; in you’re trusting that by doing the will of the father and taking up our cross daily, even to the point of death your reward will be stored in heaven alongside Christ and not on earth.
To your point, no you cannot earn your way to heaven by sinning less, but a tree that bears no fruit will be withered. How many “people cry out Lord, Lord, did we not cast away demons in your name” And He will turn them away and say I never knew you. Even the devil knows the truth of Christ, doesn’t make him a saved believer.
Turning away from sins daily through obedience is a fruit of faith and our love for the Savior.
No, we’re simply “rightly dividing” between salvation and service. You’re attempting to conflate grace and works, and thereby corrupting the simplicity of the Gospel. “Faith is obedience” how much obedience? Who determines when said obedience is sufficient to prove genuine salvation? Do we judge ourselves by yours? ruclips.net/video/bnEvOF_7mvA/видео.html

I've been reading my Bible for a pretty long time but this young man is wise Beyond his years
Thank you for these videos. I grew up Seventh-Day Adventist and when I read through the bible a decade ago, I was left conflicted. My church, while they claim we are saved by grace, they do put a lot of weight on keeping the Sabbath (along with eating laws and all that). Logically, I knew that if saved by grade, than we don't need to 'do' anything, but it still felt wrong to knowingly break a commandment, as there were also verses about that. I would still feel condemnation if I was finishing up work after the sunset or watched something non-christian on that day. I do love the concept of the Sabbath though, having a day to rest and focus on God, but it still felt a 'need' in the back of my head, and that I was sinning if I didn't follow it. I'm so thankful for RUclips in that I can find people like you, along with the bibleproject and such that help me see the scripture and God in a whole new light. It may take a while, but I do truly want to wrap my head around the fact that salvation is truly a free gift, and that the law no longer applies to me. And that works are done for man to see, or for a better/safer life, and not to please God.

I have a question. Doesn't keeping God's commandments please him?
@Onorato Diamante I just asked a commenter this question. Doesn't keeping God's commandments please him?
@@patrickpalacio2047 Yes it does. But here's what I've learned biblically the last couple weeks. Salvation is faith alone. That is very clear. Even if we do nothing but believe, like the other guy on the cross who just asked Jesus to remember him, you can be saved. However, our good works can still land us additional rewards and gifts in heaven, God also says that. So salvation is free, but that is a good motivator to not just keep sinning and abusing his grace. But if anything, we should do good and abstain from sin as it pleases God, it allows us to stay close to Him, and it's a great way to be a witness and example for others. We are to be the light and salt of the world, through the Holy Spirit. How we live should be a reflection of the God we serve, and others will see the love, hope, joy, peace etc that we have and may inquire about Jesus and God. If not, at least we are planting seeds. We should forgive like God forgives, both cause it's best for our own mental health and well being, but cause that grace may even make your enemies curious haha So that's my current conclusion on everything. It's nice to not be worried bout my salvation, as I would be at times due to works-based doctrine. Doing good should be cause we love God and love others, not to be saved. If you're keeping the Sabbath cause you feel it's 'mandatory', as opposed to, because you love God, want to keep His commandments, and also spend time with Him, then you're keeping it for the wrong reasons. Does that make sense?
I will say this, back then, I looked at my sins and wanted more of them. Because I looked at my sins, it blinded me from seeing why I needed Jesus. The biggest sin that kept me from seeing I needed Jesus was really pride and then the loving of sin.
In my life, I looked at sin, then God allowed me to see where my soul was headed because of sin, then I learned the gospel. I’m not saying reforming yourself saves you cause I know more well behaved atheist, but in my life, if I didn’t turn my eyes from my sins, I would’ve never turned to the gospel of Christ. Idk if I can word it better.
I'm turning from my sin because I want to obey God. How can I not after what God has done for me all this time? Obviously I know I'll fall short, but that doesn't mean I can't try. We're saved by Faith, but because we're saved by faith, we naturally would do works because we want to be better. If I stay living a sinful life then I'm taking God's mercy and grace for granted.
Such a great point about trusting in managing the very thing we are trying to avoid (sin) to save us! Don't do that!
Wow acts 13:39 is an amazing verse, thanks for sharing!

Trust in Jesus' behavior, not your own.
Turning from your sins doesn’t save you, but if you won’t turn from your sins, you aren’t saved.
Turning from sin doesn’t save you from eternal suffering and death but repentance is evidence or the fruit that shows that God has redeemed you by grace through faith.

Yes, when the female was getting ready to get stolen to death for adultery. The crowd acts Jesus. What should they do? And he said the one that is, without sin may cast the first Stone. Everyone walked away.
And Jesus says. Do not sin anymore
Paul wrote that Christians who do certain things will not inherit the kingdom of God. It's about losing salvation not earning it, otherwise Paul would contradict himself because he repeatedly stated that one is saved by faith in Christ and because it's by faith it's by God's grace. James wrote the same thing just spelling it out differently.
Sorry salvation once received by trusting in Jesus Christ alone as one's Saviour can never be lost. Just like being born to your parents in their family no one can change it, you cannot become unborn so it is in God's family you were born into his family the moment you trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour and you cannot be unborn out of his family. Our salvation is completely, totally dependent on what Jesus did in our behalf to save us never on us. In Christ alone we stand. Besides God's salvation is his gift to us, we weren't worthy or deserving of it nor could we earn it. God loves us so that he gave his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die in our place that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus fully paid the cost for our salvation with his own blood. We had nothing to offer it was God seeking us and through his Son suffered in our place and fully paid the debt we owed so we by trusting in Jesus Christ as our Saviour could be saved forever, we a add nothing to his finished work but receive by faith God's gift of salvation and it becomes ours and no one, not us, not even God will take it away. You are saved forever peroid. Jesus paid it all!
But we don’t lose salvation.? Once we have everlasting life when we believed in Jesus we have been secured. We cannot lose something everlasting. Romans 11:29 also mentions that God will not take away his gifts and being that salvation is a free gift, he will not take it back from us because we sinned. Sure he will punish us for our sins but we will not lose salvation.
We're saved by grace through faith least any man should boast. It is a gift of God but after that we are preordained good works to walk in. Instead of focusing on sin, we should follow Paul's example. Paul said the only thing that really counts is Faith working through love Galatians 5:6. Yes we all sin and we all fall short. But when your born again your desire is to follow God and to do good. even when you fall short you have an advocate with the father Jesus Christ if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins. But as far as God's concerned if you're born again you're adopted into the Heavenly family and you are Abba father's children. Nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus, and nothing can take you out of his hand.
You were already on your way to hell till Grace showed up… there wasn’t a way for you to turn in your own power anyway … you will also likely keep sinning in that area as you are convicted it will likely slow. (In recovery the first step is surrender)
“Why didn’t this go away all of a sudden?” That’s what I thought… but it became a journey me and Christ and that’s what He wanted anyway and of course I still fall short!
Brother you have a blessed day
The law condemns you and puts you in jail. Grace gets you out ! 😊
Amen ❤ The false “turn from your sins” gospel as deceived soooo many!
I trust in Jesus christ only
This is exactly what the sixteenth century Protestant reformers were trying to get people to understand. Sadly, this essential understanding of the distinction between Law and Gospel and their roles in the justification of the sinner has largely been lost in American Evangelicalism.
Pastor John Hagee from Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX teaches you must turn from all of your sins to be saved. Not the gospel at all.
I had been attending a southern Baptist church the last four years. They also preach a turning away or repenting of your sins to be saved.
My church preaches once you believe and are saved always saved but we should try and be the best we can be but we are sinners we will fall short but try to stay focused on Jesus❤️🙏🏼

This is the true way of salvation
You dont turn from sin to get saved, you turn from sin BECAUSE youre saved. And i think its a mischaracterization to say that guys like MacArthur are saying otherwise.
We’re under grace and a lot of Christians can’t get that through their head.
without righteousness we don't enter heaven, so turning from sins is still important! But we'll do that when we follow Him.
We are seen as righteous through Christ once we believed. We should turn from sins ONCE we’re saved to prevent earthly consequences onto us but to make it FOR salvation or to MAINTAIN SALVATION is false.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
- Revelation 22:12-15
While I would agree that we cannot put our trust in our performance, this is only one side to the coin. Shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound? May it never be! How can we who died to sin continue to live in it?
Paul frequently answers to the natural objection this teaching of yours would raise. Putting down the law is not picking up a license to sin. On the contrary, love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. The good works we do were prepared for us and are evidence that we are in Christ.
The fact that Paul entertains and answers that objection, testifies to the fact that he was preaching the same thing that I am. There is nothing new under the sun. ruclips.net/video/usXCk3nR_Ug/видео.htmlfeature=shared
I think 2 Peter has some great insight into this topic
Interestingly many believe that every time they see the word repent in scripture it means to turn from sin. When it can mean either a sin a direction a thought etc. God and man both can repent of something.
Turning from your sins is the inevitable result of receiving the Holy Spirit, only given to those who are saved. If you have an unrepentant heart and are still living in sin, that would be an indicator that you are not yet saved. May we all find the Lord!
I disagree very much. A believer can still receive the holy spirit and be saved and continue to live in sin. They well be chastised and not enjoy the sin as before they were saved because they will feel guilt from their sin and it may take years to turn from it all while being a firm believer. You’re saved by faith not obedience.
@peacebewithu9684 Of course! Sanctification is a continuous process for the rest of your life. We will make mistakes and fall in sin, which is vastly different from one who chooses to lay in sin. And God knows the heart and clearly sees the difference. As Paul says, we must put to death the desires of the flesh, and walk and bear fruit of the Spirit. Were not in disagreement, im just making sure the whole gospel is preached.
Any Calvinist, or Charismatic dogmatic believer of works based salvation that debates you. Drop this verse on them! It's a mic drop.
Acts 13:38-39 "Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins. And by him all that believe are justified from (all things), from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses."
Were saved by the faithfulness of jesus christ not our faith
Great teaching bro🥰🙏🏻
Luke 6 : 46, we turn from sin, because Christ say we must.
We are citizens of heaven because Christ say so.
We obey Christ, Luke 13 : 5.
A focus on sin is working out of the flesh
Flesh increases sin because that’s the flesh so it’s self defeating like going on a diet
Your intentions are to get in better shape but restricting the foods you like all to get in better shape activates your flesh and you wind up eating more of them in the long run resulting in a worse situation
James 2:26 "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead."
Jesus didn't come to give you a license to sin. We are saved and justified by faith. But to show we have true saving faith it should reflect in our lives that we repent of our sins. If we just say we believe in Jesus and go around sinning all day and night, that's called playing the hypocrite, at which point you have to ask, are you truly saved? Yes we stumble and we need to continue to confess and repent.
A little misleading. We are not saved by our good works, but good works should accompany saving faith as we no longer wish to live in perpetual sin.
When you trust it is yourself, it shows, and it's not a good thing. It's total hypocracy in every way imaginable.
I have always agreed and interpreted the Word as you presented it. I noticed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that sinners won’t inherit Heaven. Myself and other Christians I know have besetting sins that we struggle with daily. Are we exempt from the list of sinners in these two verses because we have faith alone or because we have faith and are convicted/strive against our sins? I see so many publications saying that if you keep committing the same sins that you’ve asked forgiveness for, you cant go to Heaven. So deep and so many interpretations

@@OnoDiamante wow, that answers it all. Have struggled w lust/masturbation the last 27 years (am 38)...have fasted, prayed, went to recovery groups etc. Grieves me to still struggle but glad to know It is finalized regardless
@@brandenbarnett6093I have had the same problem and I'm 17years older than you. I got saved at 32
@@brandenbarnett6093 I was saved at 5 years old and God has protected me from so much (drinking, drugs, involvement in cults and witchcraft, fornication and lots more) but lust and porn has been my major struggle. He recently helped me to shut that door and I call on the name of Jesus when I feel tempted. Praying constanly, reading my Bible whenever I get a chance and drawing as close to God as I can get helps a lot too. Definitely a lot of people out there who struggle with this.
We are not under the law of Moses, but do please not miss that we are under the law of Christ. We have to obey Jesus in order to be saved!
28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth-those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. John 5:28-29
Why then did Jesus tell the man He healed at the pool “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” Jesus also told the woman “ neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.” Salvation is in Christ alone, no one else. And we are to follow Him ….and there are things we are to do while following Him….So, give your thoughts on why Jesus told these two people to sin no more….

Nope. I'm turning from my sin as best as I can to find more peace, but my salvation by Jesus has already been accomplished over 2000 yrs ago! I could just go on willfully sinning because we have free will, but I can't blame God if I find no inner peace.
Young Don Reborn needs to see this.
I'm sick of even seeing the word turn. Repentance does not mean turn. Your mind doesn't turn.
It's neat how moses is synonymous with the law. The law and the prophets is literally referring to Moses and the prophets. Ironically Moses is both a prophet and a lawgiver.
Thank you brother
Thanks to Jesus!
