Nice job! Remark that VNG-89-G number plate on your garage/workshop wall, still exist on the dutch RDW (rijksdienst voor wegverkeer) as an AM-General Humvee...;-)) continue!
Great video, great vehicle. I initially thought you should keep the box, but I was wrong, your vision was spot on! Please do keep the videos and vehicles coming!
Also through that rear window you could only see the bed and stuff on it, the tailgate is so high up that you wouldn't see any more traffic over it than with mirrors.
Im getting to realise that at this time of year, Denmark is as cold ,wet, and miserable as the uk lol Great work there fella.. been looking forward to seeing what your going to do with this lovely old girl 😊
You do a fantastic job on this particular rebuild! I see that towards the end, you had a little snow to deal with. That must present a challenge when you are working on your projects. I look forward to your next videos, and again, thank you for your great channel!!
Great transformation from what it originally was,you are very methodical and precise even though you don't realise it😂 you will get a great deal of work and pleasure good luck and always stay safe when working alone, regards and best wishes from Scotland 🏴🇬🇧📐🛠️🎥🚛
Nice job done! I might have placed an aluminium teardrop plate in the bed instead of wood, because the truck will be stored outside a lot I think. But you sealed the wood pretty good so I guess it will be fine 😉 Nice to hear that the 2nd row sweats will stay in 👍🏻
You appeared to use phenolic resin wood sheets for your floor. It’s crazy to me that this material is almost impossible to buy in the USA because … nobody really knows about it. (Yes, there are specialty importers that will sell it for astronomical prices and then it’s too expensive to ship to your home.). But it’s a great material for a tough floor.
A bit of Beauty and a bit of Beast. 💪 I like your videos very much. 👍They remind me of the good old You Tube days. When it wasn't dominated by (more or less crypto) advertising, (modern, and bad) commercialism and sponsorships.
I did think about it. A hatch might have been nice, for that very rare occasion, when you are stuck, and the winch isn't working correctly. But really, for any normal scenario, it's easy enough to get to, from below.
Hi Kasper, great job that you,ve done on the magirus,.I have a question for you.is that type of magirus are very rare in denmark?keep the good job from Richard in canada.
They are pretty rare, yes. Some companies had magirus trucks. And the military had quit a lot. But not this type. Things like fire departments and rescue services, usually had either Scania, Volvo or Mercedes.
Thank you for taking us along on your adventure with Maggie Deutz the new floor you put in will outlast the truck itself and it looks fantastic and the tail gate turned out great I have only one question what is the gross weight of the truck is it 7.5 tonnes please?thank's for another great video sorry your so far north and have very short day's we cry about the shorter day's hear in the UK.
@KJOff-Road thank you for this information I was thinking of gett something similar but my licence does not cover me for a truck of this size anymore but thank's again.
I was one of the viewers who wanted you to save the rear box but this actually turned out awesome. 👍Are you going to pimp this out with lights / lightbars?
I was trying to figure out why those wheel arches were so big..I can only think it's a generic frame and used with bigger off road wheels and tyres, maybe used off road a lot the build up of mud..mmmm
Yeah, i have been thinking the same thing. That they probably used the same type of box, on several different trucks. With either bigger tires, or lower suspension
@@rhkavli Is he really hoing to use it so much for off road purposes or is he going to haul stuff around? So a underride guard would really be a good safety measure. Don't forget that Jayne Mansfield died by crashing into a truck without a underride guard. I guess that it is easier to prevent sleepless nights in case someone crashes into the Magirus Deutz by constructing a bumper than to live with the guilt.
@u.s.1974 An option is to make it removable, since it is allowed. But just fitting one to an exempt vehicle could possibly end up in a legal twilight zone with inspections. Never underestimate the bureaucracy.
@@rhkavli As I have understood it it is exempt from having to have a bumper. I think he can get one as it is obligatory on later model years to have one.
15:50 Again the Ford tractor steps up. I hope in a future episode you can show the tractor some more maintenance love.
Such a joy to watch your videos. And thank you for not blaring music over the video.
Best of luck from Colorado, USA
Painting at night outside, in fall. You are one determined guy. Great stuff Kasper! This channel keeps on giving.
Great progress and the new bed looks really tough!!!
I'm from the US. I'm a big fan of Cab over trucks! Love your work
Great new flat floor. Clever design over the wheels, with the bars just in between the wheels..
these snowrunner graphics are getting insane
The back seats might be convertible into a bed for long journeys or camping.
Nice job! Remark that VNG-89-G number plate on your garage/workshop wall, still exist on the dutch RDW (rijksdienst voor wegverkeer) as an AM-General Humvee...;-)) continue!
That's pretty cool! :)
Great video, great vehicle. I initially thought you should keep the box, but I was wrong, your vision was spot on! Please do keep the videos and vehicles coming!
I gotta say, you for sure have the most fancy bed side walls on the truck
Great job as always. Maybe some brighter LED tail lights would not be a bad idea.
rear arches were ridiculous now its very nice and flat. much better.
Also through that rear window you could only see the bed and stuff on it, the tailgate is so high up that you wouldn't see any more traffic over it than with mirrors.

Nice progres KJ. Thanks for bringing us along. Take care & stay safe.
Awesome work! That tailgate looks factory.
this is one of the best auto channels.
That's high praise :)
Thank you very much

Was thinking the same thing; sheets of steel may have been the way to go. Looks great! You are a very industrious guy!
Thanks for sharing and taking us along.Outstanding and awesome content as always.
Very nice work and most of all it seems like it is strong and functional.
Nice job done! I might have placed an aluminium teardrop plate in the bed instead of wood, because the truck will be stored outside a lot I think. But you sealed the wood pretty good so I guess it will be fine 😉
Nice to hear that the 2nd row sweats will stay in 👍🏻
Great work again, I like it! Many greetings from your „neighbour“ 🇩🇪 out of Hamburg 😁 Looking forward to your next video. 👍🏻
What a lucky truck be in your hands sir. Bravo !!!!!

Man this thing turned out so sick! At first I was kind of sad to see the box go, but the replacement bed is honestly so nice!
Very cool! Great work
Så godt bygget 🤘
Fedt. Flot arbejde. Ser godt ud.
Great work and video !
Good solid work.
Thanks for the update.🙂

Beautiful job. That truck is going to be so very nice for you. Such a neat truck.
This is soooo awesome! Keep it up! From Charlotte, NC, USA
I'm a bit surprised you didn't also have a hatch down to the winch . . .
Good point
I did think about it. A hatch might have been nice, for that very rare occasion, when you are stuck, and the winch isn't working correctly.

👍👍👍
Hvad med et bakkamera ? Muligt så man kan se trækket istedet for at skulle stå ud ?
Jeg tenkte på det samme. Kamera bak kabinen burde være veldig praktisk. To arbeidslys bak kabinen samt et par gode ryggelys.
Great work starting to look very good, cool looking truck.
That does look cool!!
Just gonna be a nitpicker here, but the middle part of the floor would've been neater from a single sheet. Very nice work all around. Looks the part!
Looks awesome. Great job :)
Looks great!
🇦🇺🦘great job on the tray
Merry Xmas 🎅
I love the sound of Magirus, it turns me back in my childhood. I think the front gate should be a plate inside flatbed. The reversing lamp don´t work?
It did earlier 🤔 I will have to do some work to all the lighting
Du kan jo lage deg en sovekupe der baksetet er.
Og du har mer snø i Danmark enn det er helt sør i Norge.
it kind of makes me wonder why the gave it such big wheel wells to start with? good job!
Top! Mobile helipad.😃👍
Excellent work.
Thank you.
ah, december i n Denmark. Cant beat it
Now you can put glass in the rear of the cab.

The gross weight of it, is 11 tonnes.
Thanks for watching along :)

Super godt arbejde. Jeg kan godt lige at du ikke gør noget halvt, eller "det går nok" Glæder mig til episode 5.
The new floor looks good. Are you going to alter the sides? They’ll be awkward to load with a fork lift but they are handy for access to the load.
Yeah, i might. For exactly that reason.
As cool as they are. They do get in the way, quite a bit
I was one of the viewers who wanted you to save the rear box but this actually turned out awesome. 👍Are you going to pimp this out with lights / lightbars?
Well, i will definitely have to add some more light to it. So i have to look around, and see what's suitable for it :)
I was trying to figure out why those wheel arches were so big..I can only think it's a generic frame and used with bigger off road wheels and tyres, maybe used off road a lot the build up of mud..mmmm

@@KJOff-Road Great project though mate :)
what about one of them rear view mirrors that aren't its two screens one forward ,one reverseor an android radio camra front & back ?
Are you going to add work lights?
Yes, I think i will. It's becoming very clear these dark winter days, that I need some more light on this truck
ser godt ud
Der er lige kommet en Mercedes unimoc på Facebook market 👍
It looked like a lot of frame twist when you went off roading at the end of the show. I hope you can tell me I am wrong!
You are not wrong. It does twist.
But it's not a fault, either. It's by design and supposed to do that.
I'm disappointed you are not making rear bumper. It makes the truck much more dangerous to other road users in the event of crash.
It is also making it less useful as an off-road vehicle, since the rear approach angle is going to be very limited, with a underrun guard fitted.
@@rhkavli Is he really hoing to use it so much for off road purposes or is he going to haul stuff around? So a underride guard would really be a good safety measure. i didnt like the metal sheet on the bed, i would keep all wood and put the metal sheet underneath .
Sponsored by Ryobi?
It's all sponsored by me. That's why I use the cheap stuff 😂
