It would be interesting and the first on RUclips to answer this question and help us, perhaps, save some money and help people forget the bad reputation that MediaTek left with its previous chipsets. Well, after the helium g90 of the redmi note 8 pro, it was Mediatek's turning point
CPU-wise they might not differ that much. Nothing Phone 2 has a slightly more advantage because the Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 has a X-2 big core. The Adreno GPU in Snapdragon though rolls over the Mali in Dimensity with ease
The only thing I rate about Xiaomi is their UK customer services. My Xiaomi Mi 11 died 3 weeks before my warranty ran out and they offered me a brand new 12 as a replacement. The phone gets so hot when gaming, I’m glad it’s my spare phone. My son’s poco x3 pro also suddenly died and was replaced for a brand new one. So far so good with my daughter’s redmi note 11 😅 but their quality is quite questionable 🤨
I have a Mi 10 that I use as a back up and for watching a bit of media, RUclips etc on, and that runs perfectly well. The software is still up to date, it was a real bargain
Not really, their phones are always praised, the only thing keeping people away from the xiaomi train is their bloated and sometimes borderline intrusive OS
Wondering if you can change screen resolution in 13t to 1080p to save more battery? Some reviews claims that the battery is not the greatest compared to others in the price range
5000 mah isn't good eh? The energy optimization isn't the best but still good if you aren't much into videography, heavy gaming or just using your phone as hotspot via 5G sim data
This literally kills the S23FE announced today. Am sold on this device, it's so great. It's an all rounder. This Vs the Nothing phone 2 and S23FE would be a nice comparison. Thanks Chris
After having used the Xiaomi Mi 11 for the past 2 years, I waited to see how the new Pixel 8 Pro is going to be, and tbh, I'm not particularly impressed. I'm most likely going with the Xiaomi 13T Pro because they're throwing in the free Mi Pad 6 (in the UK)
This phone looks like excellent value for the hardware, with the Pixel the premium is for all their software AI magic, as well as 7 years of support. You also get a free watch right now for pre-ordering. I've never liked Pixels but the 8 Pro looks very impressive so far, I want to pre-order it but the 256gb is all sold out in Canada.
Only 100 pounds difference between 13T and 13T Pro in the UK ? In Romania 13T is about 600 euro and 13T Pro is about 830 euro . . . so i guess the price difference isn`t worth it to get the Pro. Thanks for the review and comparison.
Watching the video on my Xiaomi 13t. Replacement from a Pixel 7 that got squashed by a moving car. Gotta say I'm loving it. Floating Windows is the feature I've been missing, and the Pixel camera even though better for night photography were stacked full of over processing. The photos here look amazing. Won't go back. The battery is off the charts as well!!
Great phone, I love the way you present the products. I actually have 3 xiaomi phones in the family, all from the T series. Xiaomi mi 10t lite, mi 10t pro and xiaomi 11t. Only the 11t use a mediatek processor, gorilla glass victus, metal frame and the same 67w charging. Performance is good on all the phones. Software support is ended for the 10t series, but I don't really care if the phone is working and battery life is ok. But is okay that xiaomi is extending the software support. Google is offering 7 years with the new pixels, but I think is mostly for marketing. The battery and the hardware will be obsolete after 3 years. The hardware is evolving and we want the latest and the greatest technology in our pocket. This year I was thinking about the xiaomi 13, I like the compact size, and design, wireless charging. But I wait for the 14 series and decide next year.
Why are so seriously stuck on Xiaomi? Is it the power and endless things you can do with/on MIUI and such nostaligic features like 3,5mm stereo port and IR Blaster? glad i'm not the only one. I hear 1Plus also packs this tech and Moto. I wish i could see someone using them to decide wheter i can try another brand. Your observations are profound...fast charging, wireless charging, battery life, good photos (we're not all content creators but Xiaomi gives us fair photos to keep memories). Cheers.
@@zuluswazi9470 I was a samsung user before, and huawei before that. I even tried Windows phone with a Nokia lumia. But my Samsung phone battery life was poor after almost two years, and I bought the mi 10t pro which I'm using right now and is a great phone even without the fancy amoled display. Then I bought the Mi 10t lite for my mother and is the only one with the stereo jack and micro SD card support. Also a great phone for the money, good battery life. After a year my wife wanted a new phone and the xiaomi 11t was a good bang for the price. I also have the xiaomi pad 5 and is a great tablet, good sound. I'm not considering myself a fan boy but xiaomi offered the best hardware for the money, software is more subiective but nothing wrong with the miui interface. Xiaomi improved the software lately, and the software support is longer now. I don't know much about the redmi and poco phones but the xiaomi ones are good. The new phones are more robust, IP 68 rating and leica cameras. Maybe if the price goes down more I will try the xiaomi 13. My coworker is using one and I like the dimensions, the display and the design. But maybe I'll wait for the 14. This mi 10t pro is just working perfectly, but no more updates.
@@zuluswazi9470cz xiaomi is trustworthy and affordable in most cases. ALSO the performance is way better than most of the phones these days day. Suggest you to walk around xiaomi 14 which just released a week ago I guess.

What's the battery life like compared to the 13t pro spurtmeister? My pro has very average battery life, on par with my 3 year old Poco f2 pro. I'm thinking is it because of the 9200 plus chip being power hungry, or is it just because of the very bright display, high res and 144hz?
I just got my Xiaomi 13T pro yesterday. The very visible weaknesses are: 1. Foggy lens outta no reason, yet Xiaomi officially says it DOESNT AFFECT FUNCTIONALITY. Just imagine you wanna take clear photos with foggy lens 2. The phone heat up quite warm while im not even a gamer. Just a regular FB browsing. 3. Unwanted ads all over. 4. Connectivity is very weak compared to my other phones at home (connected at the same time). Yes it's much cheaper than what all the hardware it puts in. But it's a troublesome phone for me.
@@KasKade7f5's battery is top notch . You should check it out yourself. Also the 7+ gen 2 performs brilliantly. Any brand is better than Samsung(and Google ) when it comes to gaming . The 8 gen 2 even though more powerful, never feels like it when you game on a samsung which is pretty disgusting.
I sadly never have the luxury of sticking with a phone for more than a couple of weeks at the moment, but if I had to choose one, it'd be the S23 Ultra right now. Although I do love switching to something more compact like a Zenfone, and the Pixel Fold/Magic V2 are great for reading Manga!
@@TechSpurt thanks for that 👍🏻 I’ve got an iPhone so when this packs in think I will be moving over to android… battery health is shocking on this only had for two years and I don’t over use it over charge!
Just want to let you know your review is big part of the reason I gave Xiaomi 13T (12gb 256gb) a try after having an LG G6 for 6 years. I gotta say as much as I struggled with the mi apps (there are better apps in the appstore imo compared to what was already in the phone) and file transfer issues (huge file transfer basically disconnects a lot, wire transfer via laptop kinda lags a lot and sometimes just end up in error), for what it's worth, the phone definitely delivers on what it's advertised for: good camera and decent gaming. Also glad that this one basically has 4yr software updates and 5yr security updates so I'm hoping this would actually stay for longer. So for that, thank you very much for helping me decide on this one cause it's still definitely a solid phone for it's price.
@@MsMytube75 oh believe me when i say i tried everything and it doesnt work out. I think the main issue is it hates large file transfers which i was doing cause i tried just bits and bits and it worked better but large transfers are just shitty. It's not a total bad for xiaomi ofc. I mean i still do intend to keep this phone cause iss p good in general. It's just a mild inconvenience since i havent experienced this before.
After being with Xiaomi for the last 6 and a half years, I was heavily considering this phone to be my next, replacing my now dying Mi 8. HOWEVER, I got a stunner of a deal on an S23 basically paying only around 450-ish punds over two years. Even though Sammy doesn't have proper fast charging or that beauty of a screen, the performance, timely updates, better construction and presence of extra features such as dex and wireless charging, PLUS the fact I saved me around 20 Stella pints-worth of money makes me think I did the good thing. It's goodbye to Xiaomi for me, at least for now.
@@MekeniGaming if you're talking about budget androids sure, something like a Poco is disposable but a flagship phone like S23 is something we can use for 5-6 years. So, not all android phones are disposable.

Ended up going with 13T regular version (Sadly the store that i bought it did not have the version with leather back. But had only black one. ). Im using this phone for couple of days and going to be honest im quit impressed of how the mid-range phones have been improved. After this phone not going to buy flagships any more. Since for the price it does all the things i need anyways. I personally would recommend checking this phone out.
Yes, i really like the Xiaomi 13t, the design, display, the triple camera set-up with Leica Tuning, the powerful midrange Dimensity 8200 Ultra and battery capacity and i do prefer a 50 to 80 watt fast charging as I'm worried about the heat that will mess up the internal components of the phone. I hope you'll compare the Xiaomi 13T with the Poco F5 Pro.
Xiaomi 11T owner here and thus far I have to say their phones are great in terms of price to performance and specs. I havent seen a single brand (aside from Redmi and Poco but that's under Xiaomi too lol) that has such a great price for their specs. Will be getting 13T pro next year! The only complain I have is their software being not too amazing. Their OS isn't flawless as I have experienced some glitches. Overall it's still pretty good regardless
@@chr1zardx995 Ah I didn't mention this but yes there are ads. Fortunately any Xiaomi phones has the ability to turn off ads and thats the first thing I did when I got the phone. I am unsure if Redmi allows that. Basically the more expensive lineup has the ability to do so

Now 'that' is the true replacement, for the Poco F3. With Poco's ever increasing prices, it'll interesting to see what they do with the F6/F6 Pro, because the similar price F5 Pro is not a patch on the 13T.
@@Jedbullet29 Always useful keeping at least one kidney. With the 13T getting to Android 17, it also makes it a god long term investment. T series also get updates faster than every Poco and most Xiaomi models.

Xiaomi is seriously underrated. I have the Mi11 from new and it's still going strong

Battery is rubbish and if you try record video in any resolution 30ftp is so bad zoom jumping change colours of image and bluring

S23fe out today?, i doubt the 8 gen 1 processor tho
It "figuratively" kills the S23FE. What you said above makes no sense. Did the 13T take a gun out of it's sim slot and shoot the S23 in the head???

What's the battery life like compared to the 13t pro spurtmeister? My pro has very average battery life, on par with my 3 year old Poco f2 pro. I'm thinking is it because of the 9200 plus chip being power hungry, or is it just because of the very bright display, high res and 144hz?

1. Foggy lens outta no reason, yet Xiaomi officially says it DOESNT AFFECT FUNCTIONALITY. Just imagine you wanna take clear photos with foggy lens
2. The phone heat up quite warm while im not even a gamer. Just a regular FB browsing.
3. Unwanted ads all over.
4. Connectivity is very weak compared to my other phones at home (connected at the same time).

File transfer issue I think you need enable developer option and turn off USB debugging option. Or if it turn off try turn it on
@@MsMytube75 oh believe me when i say i tried everything and it doesnt work out.
There is no one on RUclips who can make a boring review as funny as uncle Spurt 😂
