Just ordered one a few hours ago and was sort of wondering if there's another phone that I could have picked up instead, and could not find one myself, and this video was quite reassuring in the sense that I did in fact pick the right phone for the job. Never really been on the market for these types of things before, so It was quite a worrisome experience. Great video.

@@alxdava2004 ok I am back. After just 2 days of having it I can say that when it comes to pictures it is more versatile than the pixel. Wow!! How much £ compared to Apple's & Samsung's value proposition? I thought the pics were simply stunning (regardless of the price!). The quality of the 'remove you' looked v.impressive btw. I really enjoed this Review Mark; great stuff. My other take-away was that on Android you could move from (say) Samsung Watch Ultra to this phone, download Samsung Health, and your Ultra investment isn't totally binned-off (unlike Apple). Take-away II - the screen refresh rate was an eye-opener....why aren't Apple and Samsung (and others) launching with that Rate?
The tie-ins are mostly nothing but marketing guff. The tiny plastic lenses don't allow for much tweaking and the sensors are off-the-shelf from a 3rd party manufacturer. The only real influence is in the colour science. What no smartphone manufacturer seems able to conquer is the loss of clarity and jumpiness of low light video when panning, even slowly. The Pocket 3, by comparison, does a much better job, even though it's also a 1" sensor. Why? I suspect because the whole device is geared towards processing image data. Smartphones arent. They're general purpose devices. Unless a manufacturer uses a second processor dedicated solely to image processing, it's not going to improve much. And that is likely not going to happen because of power drain and heat.

The Xiaomi 14T should have been compared to the PIxel 9, because 97% of the iPhone users will not consider switching. Android users are less brand loyal. So it makes more sense to compare Android phones with other Android Phones So is the 14T a Pixel 9 killer?

It's rare to find more snobbery in the world than that displayed by iphone users. They'll gladly pontificate about spending £1000 more on an inferior phone. It's totally insane and utterly naive to fall for such blatent niche marketing.
It's not insane. The iPhone is a great device and if people want to buy one, that's entirely their choice. I'm an iPhone user daily and have been for over ten years.
Nope. Not better. The cameras are ok but not as good as the iPhone. Also it lacks the ecosystem around the iPhone. And the accessory system around the iPhone. And the support system around the iPhone. And it doesn't have the resale value of the iPhone. And it won't get as many software updates as the iPhone. The iPhone is not just a phone, it's a total package. Something I'd forgotten for years and now after years of android have realised it. Hence I'll be moving back to iPhone as soon as I can afford it.

Huhuhuh....middle finger 😅
Of course 😂😂
It's rare to find more snobbery in the world than that displayed by iphone users. They'll gladly pontificate about spending £1000 more on an inferior phone. It's totally insane and utterly naive to fall for such blatent niche marketing.
It's not insane. The iPhone is a great device and if people want to buy one, that's entirely their choice. I'm an iPhone user daily and have been for over ten years.
@@MarkEllisReviewshow do u compare your ip to 14T
I was like please God no British accent before I click this video!
Why?
Show us on the doll where the British accent touched you.
Simply NO. BUILT CONSTRUCTION IS MORE LIKE OEM PHONES.
Nope.
Hence I'll be moving back to iPhone as soon as I can afford it.
i can buy 3 of these instead of iphone, apple ecosystem is more like a system to enslave you.
Xiaomi winer of heating 😂
nah apple lies ia winner of od overheating and iphone
Nope. I experienced significantly more heating on an iPhone than on a Xiaomi, and I've had 4 of them.
What a good joke! Don't even think about comparing this stupid phone with iPhone 16 or Samsung s23/s24😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 More than I wouldn't spend 300 euros on this phone
How much are they paying you? Obviously, this device is not good, especially considering it doesn't even come with a charger and is overpriced. Are you kidding me? Take note that it is a Chinese company charging that price. Just buy an Apple or Samsung flagship instead.😅😅😅
Why isn't it good? Or is that just hatebait?
@@xuaev-luh try watch asian review on this device and some comments too 😅 take note its way more cheaper here than in Europe. They also said if im not mistaken T series have an issue of boot thing im not sure... 😉 Who knows
How much is apple and Samsung paying you? Lol

@@athenaallen6119 well infact majority of smartphone globally is made in china which is in Asia 😅 and the market here is you, me and us 🤣
Wow this dude is boring
Don't be so harsh on yourself.

iphone 16 is garbage 🤡
easy wins always better than than garbage in iphone
Android are crap . I’ve used iPhones from day 1 . This year I bought a google pixel xl 9 pro . It lasted 2 days and I went mad . I had to go back to apple . Android are horrible
Can you elaborate a bit on what the problems were?
@@zippy2175 I have both. They just take some time to get used to . If anything they're more user friendly than iOS and the settings make more sense and are easier to navigate!. IE if you want to turn Auto brightness on with android you just go into display settings and not something completely unrelated to display settings and auto brightness - ' accessibility '. I love iPhones but they're awkward
"Android are horrible" and you should add "FOR ME", because it's really subjective.
I can't live with iOS for example.
I think apple are overpriced crap. Of course everyone's different.
After years of Android I switched to Apple and iOS is horrible.
All of this is fine but still it is a CHINESE CRAP!!!! AVOID
I couldn't disagree with your comment more. Have you tried the Xiaomi 14T?
