If I want to add a discount as a line item, can that be made so it is always a negative number when I type it in? Seems like you have to add a minus sign first, this can be done in QB desktop

I see that invoice recipient is able to pay a partial amount, but I want to send an invoice asking for a deposit only and show a remaining balance due on...date. Is that an option?
I have been having trouble with my sales tax within the invoice when I go to save it doesn't like my non-taxable labor. I'm a furniture reupholster and only 20% of my labor is taxable; I've been doing them on two item lines and splitting out the non- taxable labor and taxable labor of 20% but when I go to save the invoice I get an error message. Ugh. I tried doing the item as a bundle and it still doesn't like it. There's got to be a way of getting around this glitch. The tax isn't based on where my customer lives but here at my shop location in town at 7.25%

Hello on my invoice the billing address and the shipping address have the same recipient name I need the parent company name to be on the billing address and the sub company name on the shipping address Ive tried to edit a few different ways but it didnt work for me. hope you can help thank you

I have a customer that I hand write an invoice for each car that I do and submit them daily. then at the end of the month I have to submit a billing statement with each of those individual invoice numbers along with dollar amounts. Is this something I could do with quickbooks? Thanks

How do you add a tip to an already created invoice? So I invoice $300 for service then the customer adds a $30 tip.
