Thanks for the follow up, Cleveland Ohio here, bought my SNT2400 in September 2022, of course first year, 1 snow storm. This year I got to use it twice. It does work really well. I also have the lawn mower which I love.

Finally used my snt2400 in over a year happily did 5 houses on a single charge of 10ah batteries. Handled the heavy wet stuff just fine. As you stated slow and low and those batteries just keep going and going and going......

I killed my SNT2102, they don't like ice that jams them up. Killed the motor and control board. I tried to fix it myself but can't get parts. I ended up getting the SNT2112. Had the first one for almost 3 years and it was a beast for a single stage. It was user error as to why it went boom so I can't complain. Almost bought the SNT2400 but I just don't have a big enough driveway or space to keep something that big. Thanks for all your great reveiws. I use the info for my purchases.

I got one of the SNT 2405’s for the 2023-2024 winter.
Has a couple of good storms.
The blower works great. No complaints.
Same exact blower as in video with the 7.5 amp-hour batteries.
Had no issues with run time, about 45-1 hour and batteries only dropped to 40% remaining with 6-7 inches of wet snow on a 140 foot driveway

Nice job. I have the new EGO 28" model and it's a beast that has gone through snow above the housing (with the help of drift cutters) with no problems. The hand warmers are nice too :) Believe the gen 2 24" also has those. I also have the ArmorSkids (probably got the idea from you) and just wanted to mention that for anyone who has the 28" model you will want to get the spacers also because the 28" has a lip that comes out a bit more than the 24" at the front of the housing. Got both the skids and the spacers at HD recently.

Seems to have up very well. The older batteries as well! Glad to see that. This was a great long term review! And this is also for the people who say these tools won’t last. And I never let Greenworks batteries sit. I figure if they’re charging than they’re not warm enough and are good to go. 😂

I had to do the chute fix on my og 2 stage. Your video was very helpful. My 2 stage has been going strong as well. It seems some of the newer 2stage has had some gears breaking

Frank thank you so much I hope. I have to say I still have the original and maybe I’ve thrown some grease around the wheel area that’s all.
No changing oil no cleaning your carburetor no changing your spark plugs love it

    How long is your driveway?
Mine is 200ft. I live in the northern side of the snowmelt outside of Buffalo NY. We can get up to 5ft so a ft doesn't tell me much.

still have to go slower if snow starts coming out the front sides.....also, I personally would lower my skids so it scrapes right down to the pavement

That's the thing I really don't like about battery powered equipment, batteries are going to need replacement and are extremely expensive.
If you had a gas snowblower, it would still have 100% capacity after 4 or 20 years.

    • @pouetance
      @pouetance 9 месяцев назад +1

But you will still need to buy gas each time you use it
