Creamy Chicken Bechamel Pasta Bake - Weeknight Recipes! | ChunsBuns

Hello and welcome back to my kitchen!
This recipe shows you how to make my creamy chicken bechamel pasta bake! It's a really speedy recipe which is perfect for weeknight meals when you want something hearty and tasty to eat, but don't really feel like investing too much effort into cooking!
Ingredients:
500g chicken mince
1 medium onion/ 2 shallots
1 tin chopped tomatoes
2 TSP tomato puree/paste
5 cloves minced garlic
1 TSP oregano
1 TSP dry basil
1 TSP mixed herbs
400g pasta (uncooked weight)
Salt and pepper to taste
Cheese cheese cheeeese!
Bechamel sauce:
30g butter
15g flour
240ml whole milk
salt and white pepper to taste
(Small!!) pinch of nutmeg

@@ChunsBuns11 Just transcribing your recipe and noticed the ingredients don't mention onion/shallot quantity? I'm cooking this tonight and will guess at 1 large onion 🧅 By the way, quick thank you - I've got a favourite Jalfrezi recipe and have always used chicken breast. In your Chicken Makhani recipe you suggest using chicken thigh as breast dries out too quickly, so recently I've cooked my curries with thigh and they're much nicer (and keep better in the fridge too) - cheers! 😀
