      It may be something misrepresentation of facts. A woman could not be carried on her back ,. If ii is done only for a few second. This photo was taken in few seconds. That is all.

    ना जाने कितने ही लोग आए और कितने ही चले गए। हम मानव भी इस ब्रह्माण्ड की एक प्रजाति ही हैं जो समय के साथ और अधिक विकसित और ताकतवर होती जा रही है, लेकिन अब तक मृत्यु पर हमारी प्रजाति भी विजय नहीं पा सकी और शायद भविष्व में भी ना पा सकेगी। अतः मित्रों परमात्मा के दिए हुए इस अनमोल जीवन का भरपूर आनंद लें और स्वस्थ और मस्त रहें क्योंकि हम यहां अस्थाई तौर पर आएं हैं स्थाई तौर पर नहीं। ☺️🙏

    The picture "A woman carrying an British man" may be misleading. We can't distinguish who is sitting and who is carrying. In Uttarakhand at places such as Badrinath mountain top, this type of carrying people on back in a basket is common. For about 1 km walk, they charge Rs150. I have seen. Many old, sick take this ride. Men carry, not women. But I was shocked to see young women sitting.

      Image with bad connotations in retrospect... Somehow I doubt she actually carried grown-assed British men around like that though. Not really possible. Looks like a stupid photo-op tbh...disrespectful.

    • @NigelJackson
      @NigelJackson Год назад +5

      @@d-katsu8931 It's distasteful I agree and undoubtedly the colonial British Raj was unjustified and I would not defend it at all.
      But I think, on balance, the Mughal invasion of India with its destructive sackings of temples, wholescale slaughter of sadhus etc. was actually much more of a civilizational assault on India and a source of generational trauma to this day...
      I was looking at an old Indian miniature painting the other day of the Mughal seige of the city of Chitta, depicting the women of the Raja's court throwing themselves into fires rather than fall into the hands of the attackers.

      @@NigelJackson no , mughals were barbarian but brits systematically destroyed indian , they spent years to study indian , like th root cause of indian success was its education , britishers changed it and transform it such a way tha we every student will be a labour , we are being taught to work under someone eg a IT company not to be a entrepreneur. the introduced caste system and make the part of society and people still hate each on the basis of caste , brits devided hindu and muslims and late devided india and pakistan thanks to them we have a strong enemy country from which we are still struggeling with it . and there are many more things but there is no damage done by mughals which troubles us even now every damage is reparable .
