What started out as a kayak fishing for smallmouth bass trip to the lake turned into another multispecies action days when a musky and walleye joined in!
You gotta realize, hes fishing up north which is some of the best fishing in north america..Hes out there for several hours if not most of the day so in reality hes not catching much..
@@Mr76K1976 He clearly stated how long he was in the first spots and by paying attention to the sun in this video, as well as the others he does, it's clear how much time he is fishing. The vast majority of the river runs are late afternoon/evenings. These videos are clearly not Bill Dance-style where the guy is fishing in private waters where any clown can catch fish. He's fishing public water without big endorsements, a production crew etc. Overall, it's much more like a regular guy could experience.
@@adairdouglass4391 he live in Minnesota i think, go try if you think it is that easy. I live in Quebec where we have some of the best pike and smallies fisheries in the world and some days can be really though to get the big ones. Numbers ain't a problem tho
Don't you love it when Matt says "Come here lil' buddy"....like he just found a cat/dog in danger by the side of the road and want to reassure it that everything's gonna be OK? :D Great vid as usual, thanks a lot.
I am so relaxed watching your videos, so calm and easy going. Makes me either wanna get out and fish, or throw my feet up with a beer in my hand, and just enjoy the video.
I watch you every evening. Love your channel and what you bring to the fishing world. Best fishing channel on RUclips. Keep making these videos. I learn a lot.
I think I have a new favorite RUclips channel. Man you hammer them every time. Great fish. Love the technique you use and your POV is awesome. Enjoyed. 👍
Nice bonus fish! I finally got out myself over the weekend, and was able to bring in 3 quality smallies on a short river system flowing from Lake Mich. 1 on the bitsy bug, and 2 on the whopper popper! 😁 (perch color)
Understanding fish habitat, is where it’s at. Just wish he’d include whatever body of water he was fishing on. But, I guess there are a few secrets that he’d prefer not to share. His commentary’s are also so calm and not all of kid like excitement every time he hooks into one.
Musky is cool...walleye as well...but you know there's nothing like those smallies. I love catching a nice BRONZE BULLET...nothing quite like it. I see why you like them so much.
hooked into a giant pike last trip out I had! hit em on a Tokyo rig I made up. with a watermelon seed fluke on it. hardly dragging it on bottom in some. vegetation
Just another multi-species, beautiful lake, blue sky kinda day. Dang that was a beautiful video. Only thing better? If it would’ve been MY arse in that kayak ☺️☀️😎
I got my kayak the other day. Went to launch it and tripped and fell in the lake. I'm doing great so far. The word dumb a@@ comes to mind for some reason. Nice video bro.
@@markdenney8799 if you get one, make sure it has a comfortable seat. I got the pelican sentinel 100x angler and it works GREAT, but holy fuck the seat is hard on the back after 30 minutes. I'm gonna fold down the pelican seat and put a small stadium seat on top of it.
Nice video Matt. Question, I have a tarpon 130x, very similar to your kayak. Do you think the silent padding is worth the investment? I've been sold on this style kayak since your walk through videos. Thanks man. Tight lines.
Once again.. the man is catching while I'm switching baits 27 times and crying in between.
Alex Brooks not only catching but catching musky without a leader and not getting broke off lol amazing

A five year old could cast a lure and catch fish where he is fishing! Premium fishing locations!

Jay Gupta You’re not alone Jay. Always looking forward to the next one from Matt.
Same
I love how your channel grows and how nice this channel really is. Love it how you don't talk as much as the other youtubers.
This is by far the best fishing channel.
When you catch more fish in a day than I do in week
-It’s an alright day
You post the best videos to watch! No stunts, no yelling. no theatrics - Just great fishing vids. Would love to come and fish there.
I would have released that walleye into Lake Crisco! Great eating fish.
I watched a couple videos of this guy and im subscribing right away! You got some great fishin content and I’m here for all of it!
Thank you for NOT killing everything you catch......................
Beautiful musky!

i like this page because you show respect to everything in nature and to all the fish you catch.
You should do a review on your trailer. I would like to know more about it
Nicely Done ~ Been colder over this was as well. Once we get a warm up expect us both to be making it happen - again & again !
Hands down the best fishing ambassador on RUclips! Great video Matt!
The few thumbs down are all the Minnesotans that haven’t caught a damn thing all spring
another great video you sure catch everything in your neck of the woods.
Your channel is about to explode. Kayak fishing is on the rise. Prepare yourself. You’re doing a great job with this. 👍🏻
The Bob Ross of fishing. It’s like having a stress relief ball.
B Ross can't fish!
I feel like a little kid at Christmas Everytime I see a notification that Matt posted a new video
Beautiful scenery!

Can't beat it! Specially when the bonus fish are large

Nice musky! Here in Kentucky, we have muskies in Cave Run Lake. CRL is known for its muskies.
@Derek A Kentucky also has indegenous Muskies in the Red River and Kentucky River. I caught a 36" right after christmas last year out of the red.
Love the content man! Your videos bring happiness to my day! Keep up the great work man!
Love a good surprise catch!
More large mouth bud!!! Luv those
Great video! I love multispecies fishing!
I love this channel and am fairly new..1 month or so..I seldom have saw another boat/fisherman..must be nice bud..lol..great stuff!

Love to see more pike vids
Keep up my favourite videos

Hi! How envy I feel!!! Here due to restrictions we are not allowed yet to visit the rivers.
That's just stupid. People should be free to fish.
Nice to see multi species in the yak. Lot better than my 6 inch pickerel I caught today!! Keep grinding.
Another excellent video man!!
Awesome fishing, you guys have pike over there which is not something we can fall back on. Here in South Africa it's bass or bust 😬
The Bob Ross of fishing.
Loved the mixed bag, but a big smallie is a true trophy!
Another great video Matt.
Great catches today!! Nice video 👍👍
good tips about the water temp! Thanks!
Pretty awesome stuff man. Keep up the great work
Love the content! Anytime you are down in Iowa lemme know I can show you a few spots!
😁👍 Sweet Muskie!
My son calls you the Bob Ross of fishing
Good video 🔥🔥🎣
Why are you not fishing pro circuit? You are outstanding. Smallmouth fight do much better than bucket mouth. God I wish I lived in Minnesota!
That’s how I’m feeling about fall and our fisheries here in SWOHIO! #tightlines
Good job!!!

toothy day...love it
Nice hat trick Matt!
Nice Muskie!!
Thanks for the new upload. LMK if your ever in Jamestown 😎
I always find muskies easier to catch when I'm not trying for them. Well done man, quality multi-species day!
Same here, I’ve targeted muskie specifically a few times without much luck. All of them I’ve caught have been bonus catches while bass fishing.
Could you make a vid of some of the main lures you use??
I got my kayak the other day. Went to launch it and tripped and fell in the lake. I'm doing great so far. The word dumb a@@ comes to mind for some reason. Nice video bro.
missed this video some how trying to get caught up! nice musky man I still am yet to catch one of those!
Just an ok day. All my bucket list fish in one go right there. I’d die and go to heaven if I caught all those in one day.
I wonder who hurt the 6 that disliked the video, Matt is the Bob Ross of fishing. I bet those 6 hate happy little trees too
Man you hawl in some pigs! Good day of fishing!
I'm having top water withdrawal.. hopefully it warms up soon so we can see some new topwater vids!
also, when in doubt! shaky head worm it out! haha. works slick when the bites tough
I just got my first kayak yesterday so excited to use it
Did you go expensive for your first one? I'm thinking about getting one as well, unsure which to chose.
No

Nice muskie
Ooooh! "Chartrooozz!" Fancy!
Nice video! Can i have more prescisions on the material you use to fish? Keep up the nice work and I really enjoyed the pike fishing vids!
Wind from the north don't venture forth....lol
I wish i could learn to have faith in paddle tail jigs i always revert back to live bait for walleye to quick i think
Ur the man

Rocky windblown points is where the predators sit and wait to ambush any school of baitfish and catch sun from the warming rocks

Bring on the pike videos!!!
Muskie ☆Sweet☆
In 98, I got a 40 incher skie on the first cast of the first day of the season up here in Canada....
piscator57 nice dude what were you using?
Colin Peoples
Customized Reef Hawg....in the Kawarthas, Ontario
Dude was so nonchalant when he caught the Muskie
When your going kayak fishing right now infact but you gotta watch the new vid
Great video as always. Do you have any showing your trailer in detail at all?
👏👏👏🎣🎣🎣
Please make a saugeye/walleye fishing video
Is it me or do all smallies look the same even big or small?
they are all clones
When the winds out of the North anglers don;t venture forth.
Casually catches a musky
Are you anchoring in this video? Power pole or rope anchor? How deep was the water? Awesome video as always
