If it's any consolation, I didn't know the song from the TV series, but from a cover done by a Spanish punk band. And this specific version from the musical curtain of a radio program of political discussion. Cosas de la vida.

This wonderful Italian song was written by the partisans while
They fought fascism and nazism during the second world war
It was actually origanially written by Italian women who worked in the paddy feilds of northern Italy in protest again harsh working conditions, then later adopted by the partisans as an anti-facist anthem. Either way a beatiful song.
