Not true at all. In my wedding one of the Hindu person from my mother side came to see the wedding. Nothing happened cause in muslim weddings we don't play song, we don't do dance, we don't drink alcohol so everything is calm and simple.

I can confirm the cultrure is same here in Pakistan we have similar cocept of touching heads, exchanging haar, and mamy things like rasmein. But the food part is very different in every regionand i can confirm it is very unique like its done in Kerela Pakistan ♥ India
