You can definitely attend the main rituals of the wedding 💯
It's just that many guests who are not from family, leave the venue after eating food and attending jaimala (Stage garlands exchange ceremony)..
Main wedding happens in Mandap..with rituals like Pheras, sindoor daan, etc. And anyone can attend it too 🥰

@@backpackerfelipe Yeah, I think thats a false info or you may have misunderstood if someone said something like usually close family stays for this part because it is too late. I have attended 100s of weddings with drivers, photographers, caterers, friends around so it is not a complete bar on it. I had been sensing a bit of language barrier there. It's kind of an experience if you get a chance. In phere they are told so many general commandments of a household which are very obvious. Preist make them do a few things together like eating, decorating etc. In phere or encirclement of the fire in 4 the groom follows the bride and in 3 the bride follows. It is in this odd hours so that they can have the moon (Midnight) and sun (dawn) as evidence of their bond and committment. And bidai is just formal bidding off, severence of ties to the maternal family. But good on you to crash into a wedding. You have ticked off one mark of being Desi.

@@backpackerfelipe I am pretty sure privacy was not the reason they did not invite you, the phere ceremony is lengthy and tiresome, not to sound disrespectful but you get bored after 2 hours.
I am a Muslim and I was invited especially for the phere ceremony quite a few times.
It is fun if you attend it for the first time but after 2-3 weddings the excitement fades away and it becomes a tiring thing to watch for 3 hours and if you are a close friend you have to also attend bidaai, it can take upto 6 hours easily, so it's like going to wedding at night and coming home after 6 in the morning.
The close family almost always attends the full ceremony, that is the reason you can see people sleeping like Fufaji(it's a pun, ask any Indian)
I think they were worried about you not getting enough sleep.
I think if you "insisted" enough they would have sure allowed you, I think in my best knowledge.

Do you know the reason of taking 7 rounds around fire (called phere)
Ans :- the circle is of 360 degree and the only number from 1 to 10 which can’t be divided to 360 is 7 which represents they will be together for whole life without getting divided from each other .

You guys dont know what "pan" is, we love it .. There is no chemical or anything, there are basically 2 type of pan ta every shop in india,
1- with mostly "chuna" that dont taste sweet but it will keep a nice cold and fresh atmosphere in mouth for 2 3 hours.
2- "sweet pan ", this pan is for first timers and you can keep hanging with it all your life, most people dont like sweet all the time.. So they prefer switing them time to time..

I don't know why i feel like this but what comes in my mind is that they are faking their enjoyment it. I am saying this because from dozen and no. of starters what they picked first was fruits, really man are you kidding me who eat's fruit at a wedding. Fruits are meant for those who don't have a strong stomach or for old elders. At this point I thought ok maybe they will eat something nice but what I am seeing is that they picked ice-cream , one can eat ice cream anywhere and despite that in weddings they put only classic flavor and you are enjoying that so much fake. Ok I thought they will eat now something nice but they just jumped to dinner I was terrified at this point I don't have any will of watching this video any further. It was like you are making distance with our food. This gave me a feeling that they are showing fake enjoyment.

Hope you had a great time during the marriage 👍👍
