They only show you footage of the most developed parts of first tier cities in China. The USA is still growing at a steady rate. China is developing faster because it’s still a developing country. But eventually it will slow and stagnate. China has a very high unemployment rate, and the wages are very low. Also the infrastructure is pretty good in places like Shanghai, but in other places buildings and roads are falling apart and collapsing that are only a few years old. Do some research you will see.

One of the things that China will never admit to is that they are a "developed nation" because when you believe that you are already developed, what use is there to keep on developing? If you are climbing halfway up a mountain but believe that you have already reached the top and are "Number 1" as some others believe that they are, why waste energy and effort in continue climbing? I really enjoyed the sights in this video. Thanks to you Jason I can see China from my sofa! (I would actually love to visit China but due to health issues I'm unable to travel that far). The museum was especially interesting. I think the Exosaurus was a beautiful looking animal. And what about your hotel- wow so futuristic looking, and the bathroom is so luxurious and stylish!
One thing often not taken into account is that China is still dealing with new construction, repair and replacement costs dealing with stuff that has gotten old and worn out can be much more than the cost of putting things in new without old stuff in the way. What China is doing is extremely impressive, and I hope they can keep it up. With how they're investing in power generation and industry it seems likely they will be able to do so unlike the USA who let their industry crumble.
The USA could have much better infrastructure and living conditions than they have right now if they spent their tax dollars and borrowed money on the people instead of the military. Empire has it's costs and is the cause of America's decline.
Yet the West wants "freedom" which means trolling and disinformation stirring up trouble online, being drunk and disorderly in the streets, setting fire to (budget cheap/ hotels) where refugees are staying in, taking drugs and fighting. China is free of this kind of trouble, so who is better? It's obvious. x
Yes, just got back from Hangzhou, saw a Hauwai M9 (unreal...), robots clean malls and streets, paid grocery with my face and the toilets in my $150 hotel that lights up and lift the lid when I enter, and automatically flushes and close the lid when I leave. Seats are warm as usual that's nothing new. Little things like this adds up to WTF moments. :)

Thanks for the video. That was very interesting. I would like to see more from there. The subway station looks very nice too, among all the other things there. In fact, in China, especially on hot days, I can recommend getting off at every subway station, looking around and getting back on. Most subway stations are worth a visit. Most of the infrastructure in relatively poor Chinese provinces were built more recently than that in its first tiers cities. That's why it is often more spectacular. In cities like Shanghai, Beijing, quite lots of infrastructure were built in 1990s. One has to go to far suburban areas to see the really new infrastructure. In downtown, it is often the renovation of the old buidings, streets and transport infrastructure.
In June 2024, we visited Guangzhou->Shanghai->Beijing->Chongqing. Beijing's June weather felt more like Southern California. They're all amazing cities but I enjoy the weather much more in Beijing. I assume North West China weather in June would be similar to Beijing?
@@Gamerzombiepro1 I've visited many US states. Utah, Sedona Arizona, Washington, Colorado, Oregon, Virginia, many cities in California, and New York are some of my favorites. I prefer China because it is a big country with so much to see/do. They are one of the few countries that is developing fast. Most importantly, I feel safe walking everywhere day and night. I can focus on enjoyment more when I feel safe. Some Eastern European countries and some US areas are way too prejudiced/racist and some are areas are too dangerous. I don't want to deal with that.
@@Gamerzombiepro1 LA is cool, just be careful where you go. There are a lot of things to see/do. Many different Ethnic food options. There are a lot of dangerous corners/places too. When you come, DO NOT look like a tourist because you will be followed and targeted. I prefer Shanghai over Los Angeles. I grew up/worked in Los Angeles County for 30 years. Shanghai and Guangzhou are way ahead of LA, imo. Chongqing has the most amazing architecture and the busy main streets turn into a "real" street food eatery between 10pm-3am.

During the night, walking is a 50/50 percent survival rate. That's good you have a cousin who lives here. They'll know where to go and NOT to go.

If you do, renounce your US citizenship so the tax man won't come after you for money earned outside the USA. It used to be inexpensive to renounce but due to the large amount of people leaving the USA they raised the fee considerably to discourage renouncing.

Yes, just got back from Hangzhou, saw a Hauwai M9 (unreal...), robots clean malls and streets, paid grocery with my face and the toilets in my $150 hotel that lights up and lift the lid when I enter, and automatically flushes and close the lid when I leave. Seats are warm as usual that's nothing new. Little things like this adds up to WTF moments. :)

Thanks for the video. That was very interesting. I would like to see more from there. The subway station looks very nice too, among all the other things there. In fact, in China, especially on hot days, I can recommend getting off at every subway station, looking around and getting back on. Most subway stations are worth a visit. Most of the time there is so much art and fascinating design to discover. Nice to see something from Guiyang. Greetings from Germany.

I noticed something - the burger over there is noticeably larger than the ones sold in Taiwan! The Burger King in Taiwan is not the same!
Most of the infrastructure in relatively poor Chinese provinces were built more recently than that in its first tiers cities. That's why it is often more spectacular.
In cities like Shanghai, Beijing, quite lots of infrastructure were built in 1990s. One has to go to far suburban areas to see the really new infrastructure. In downtown, it is often the renovation of the old buidings, streets and transport infrastructure.
As a Chinese, I'm very impressed how the new Gui Yang city looks like, so modern and neat

Guiyang city is just a common second-tier city of China, There are 19 first-tier cities, 36 second-tier cities in China.
Even the third and fourth tier cities are spectacular with an even lower cost of living.

In June 2024, we visited Guangzhou->Shanghai->Beijing->Chongqing. Beijing's June weather felt more like Southern California. They're all amazing cities but I enjoy the weather much more in Beijing. I assume North West China weather in June would be similar to Beijing?
@@Gamerzombiepro1 I've visited many US states. Utah, Sedona Arizona, Washington, Colorado, Oregon, Virginia, many cities in California, and New York are some of my favorites. I prefer China because it is a big country with so much to see/do. They are one of the few countries that is developing fast. Most importantly, I feel safe walking everywhere day and night. I can focus on enjoyment more when I feel safe. Some Eastern European countries and some US areas are way too prejudiced/racist and some are areas are too dangerous. I don't want to deal with that.

@@Gamerzombiepro1 LA is cool, just be careful where you go. There are a lot of things to see/do. Many different Ethnic food options. There are a lot of dangerous corners/places too. When you come, DO NOT look like a tourist because you will be followed and targeted. I prefer Shanghai over Los Angeles. I grew up/worked in Los Angeles County for 30 years. Shanghai and Guangzhou are way ahead of LA, imo. Chongqing has the most amazing architecture and the busy main streets turn into a "real" street food eatery between 10pm-3am.
@@Gamerzombiepro1 LA is cool. It has many different unique sections of the city. Most people are nice and good-looking. I don't like the high crime rate. During the day, you can walk in most places. During the night, walking is a 50/50 percent survival rate. That's good you have a cousin who lives here. They'll know where to go and NOT to go.

You’re free to leave bro, the US will never stop anyone from leaving, they even deported whole bunch of illegal Chinese immigrants lately.
If you do, renounce your US citizenship so the tax man won't come after you for money earned outside the USA. It used to be inexpensive to renounce but due to the large amount of people leaving the USA they raised the fee considerably to discourage renouncing.
