Jason, you are doing what all the China haters do and just point out the bad parts of country. It is surprising how a country looks like if you only show the bad parts.
I live in Toronto, though stealing and looting is not bad, "human rights" and "freedom" beat logic and everything else. Once there's a thief who stole food from a Chinese grocery store. It happened many times. The owner reported to the police but they didn't care. So one time the grocery owner caught the thief and tied him up, and called the police. Wanna guess who got charged? The grocery owner! He was charged for kidnapping and imprisonment of another person. Of course the Chinese community was outraged. At the end the grocery owner was discharged and he got a medal for being a good citizen. It just showed how ridiculous the law is.
I'm from South East Asia Indonesia, and we are used to beat our thieves until dead, sometimes we burn them, but it's not good since the thieves will be more sadistic in order to not get caught by the peoples I feel like in a 3rd world country whenever I tell my Chinese friend and compare the laws here and there, eventhough I don't agree to everything, but in alot of cases I find that theirs are better enforced
I totally agree with you that sometimes some lawmakers are not protecting innocent people but encouraging crime. Although I do not approve of excessively cruel punishment, it doesn't mean that there is no punishment for the criminals.
@@Joooo89 I am from SG and have been in Indonesia for the last 25 years. I know what you mean as I've seen thieves being beaten up quite badly where I stayed. Funny thing 2 months later this same thief came back to steal again and was caught and again beaten. We all know that the polices were paid off as they're corrupted. Corruptions has become a culture in Indonesia but nevertheless I see a bright future for Indonesia. My hope is that Indonesia can have another President like Jokowi as is building up infrastructures which is the basic requirements for the development of any country. Infrastructures help build China.
After 3 months here it’s not that surprising to me anymore 😂. Amazed me the first time I visited a shopping mall in China, premium luxury brands laid out with no need for security 🇨🇳
Yes, and I think China should never take any insult by any of these foreign luxury brands. If they do not respect China or Asian people stop selling in China, and feel the moment when their stuff taken freely in the US.
American here. I left the US 25 years ago and never looked back. Have not been back even once and have no desire to go back. But China, would love to visit it. Would love to ride my bike through out the country. I have a feeling that it is one of the safest places to be
You never see a country going downhill so fast in the world like the United States of America, except war-torn countries, a lot of them caused by the Americans.
The politicians just can't see what is happening inside the country. Perhaps they think those are just isolated cases that will go away just like that or they are really blind to the degarading peace and order, economy, etc. They are more concentrated in messing around with the affairs of other nations halfway around the world that they have no business in the first place.
@@Skaven_is_greatest Those who attacked you in 9/11 died. Their leader was hunted and killed finally in 2011. the US invading and bombing middle east and african countries (Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, etc.) has nothing to do with the 9/11. In its War on Terror, the US killed almost a million people and destroyed countries leaving more than 30 million as refugees or displacing them. The US have launched hundreds of airstrikes, Obama in his last year alone launched 26,000 bombs in 7 countries. The US have assassinated leaders. It sanctions left and right. It even offers money for world leaders (Maduro). The US is the most warmongering country on earth. China is a saint compared to the US. It has not fired a single shot towards another country since 1979 when it briefly entered vietnamese territory for two weeks in support of their ally Cambodia. China was never involved in toppling down countries or regime change. They build, not bomb.
@@Itspacifics In fact, it is not just pouring into the United States. There will be foreign students in Japan, South Korea, Russia, Germany and France to learn more knowledge, serve the country after returning home, and respect the differences of various countries. However, we need our own road knowledge, which is indispensable. For the progress of the whole mankind, we don't want to suffer from war again. There is a saying in China that "if we lag behind, we will be beaten". This is a historical lesson. We hate war. That's why we always help the weak countries around us. We don't want them to be invaded by powerful countries
Chinese ppl take great pride in their country, They take pride in how clean it is, Chinese ppl are proud of their countries advancements, American's take pride in how filthy their country is and take pride in their ability to cause mayhem / destruction and say it's their right to do so and they have freedom, If anyone had a choice between the 2 countries, China is a paradise / Fantasy world that has everything for everyone to enjoy and is Heaven on Earth, America is a run down country that is getting worse and worse everyday and all they can do is blame their shitness on China instead of fixing their own country, So u would pick China all day every day, China to America is like Night and Day, China wins everytime.
Also, with Covid: A vast majority of China's population followed rules and safety guidelines, and they pretty much defeated the virus for the most part, whereas in the U.S., millions upon millions are getting infected daily and over 1,000 daily deaths. They actually crossed 900k deaths and may close in on a million soon. Even with the Omicron variant, China is still doing very well! :)
America is too busy-body with other countries business that it neglects itself, every is so outdated and falling apart. So sad for the land of the free.
@Dark Clouds why not educate people not threw trash? if every one not threw trash on ground, then street will be clean, and don't pay more to pick up trash
Why r u still there, come back to ur homeland it's an absolute heaven, i would never leave my homeland if it was like this, hope it can reach those hights someday ❤ from 🇮🇳
Hello I m from Nepal…..I haven’t seen shopping mall like China in any other country….I’m so happy that our neighbouring country is doing very well….in terms of infrastructure….technology….education….health….hats off to chiness government
Not when the US tries to sabotage the game by boycotting and asks their athletes to demonstrate anti-china slogan of genocide, forced labour and human rights allegations , forgetting that the US has committed genocides in the Muslim countries in the middle east and flatten their countries with bombs and missiles.
I still remember when I first came to the UK 20 years ago, and saw Trafford centre in Manchester, we were told it was one of the biggest mall in the world. Now the mall next to my parents' apartment is bigger than it, and they live in the suburb of a third tier city in China.
My god! Is it really 20 years already!! I still remember the day when Trafford centre open, I haven’t been to it for at least god knows how many years now!!
@@EdwinaTS Well I still like it, I live close to it, went there every weekend before the Covid. My parents went there once when they visited me. But now it's just a shopping mall, good size, good decoration, a bit crowded.
I once went to Buffalo downtown with some friends. We were terrified, not because it was dangerous. We were shocked because the downtown was deserted. All stores were shut and abandoned. We didn't see a soul in mid of Saturday afternoon. At night, we only dared to eat at a restaurant near the hotel. It was worse than 3rd world, and Buffalo downtown wasn't even the worst.
Americans go back to their suburban homes after work around 5pm. Downtown (in many US cities) is deserted with mostly homeless people wandering around.
There is this channel The LaRouche Organization explains what is going on in USA as well as UK that our western news media and politicians won't talk about.
In Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and China, I believe normal citizen doesn't need a basic fire arms as protection, our peoples living happy and prosperity, freely go everywhere without worrying to get harm or feel dangerous. That's the fact.
America's malls are so much better, no need to pay, just grab and go. Best of all,you can also smash some windows for free before your purchase to unleash your anger.
I live in HK but have travelled around the world. Studied in the U.K. worked in America. I can honestly say that my short stint time in the US was the scariest by far. I remember a man pulling a gun in a hotel corridor in Seattle. In the U.K. there are no guns but knife crime and drugs is rampant. The police there are woefully under resourced to even care.
I live here in America its common place for me to hear gunfire sometimes close (down the street or a corner or two down) or in the distance hearing single shots in the air or if im somewhere remote, some farmer or property owner will be shooting for practice. Many places are still open carry or if you have a license, concealed carry. Ive also had a gun pulled in my presence before but living in a city where i hear it all the time i didn't flinch. Its like being in the presence of a bear, run and show fear you might be killed. Ignore it and go about your buisness, most of the time you're ok as long as you don't look or stare at anyone, a problem i observed the rest of the world doing. They have a problem with gawking and staring, but ppl in places like nyc or Chicago or los angeles or Houston or san Francisco, someone will confront you if you look at them too long
Really love your channel bro. You are one of my favourite China vlogging channels. I always laugh at those china vs usa comparison videos, showing the true side of the so called 'greatest country' in the world
It is amazing to see how clean the streets are in China compared to America. China 🇨🇳 deserves the greatest respect from the world 4 it's wonderful development. Congratulations to the great people of China.
It's a real shame United States has turn out to be this sorry states. I have alway wanted to visit when I was a kid. Safety is main concern and I am sure to skip this venue. Funny though I hated China when I was younger as China gave me perception of being dirty, unsafe country. Now my view has changed totally. I will love to visit China when the darn pandemic craze is over. Good for you though to have your life in China now. Best Wishes ;)
"It a real shame....." My view too. U.S. was presented to me during my youth as the Mecca of modernity progress learning intellectual. I think there are remnants of what I mentioned but hardly a beacon . If what Grayzone and Professor Wolff ( democracy at works ) presented are true U.S. is currently imploding.
Actually same. Few years back, I always wanted to visit the US. Like LA, NYC or Las Vegas. While those cities may look good on the surface, it has a lot of bad things in it which I personally dont know last time. There are indeed a lot of homeless people over there. Especially new york, I've heard that subway trains and stations are filled with homeless. Of course, every countries has homeless people, but the US certainly has too many. At outer parts of the city, tents filled the streets. In LA, there are a lot of gangsters and drug addicts especially at the outer parts of the city. I guess the US usually only looks good in hollywood movies. Being such a powerful country, not being able to fix these problems is a shame. When the pandemic started, my views on america completely changed. Asian hate crimes are really high, and riots, protests often occur, with gun violence on the rise. Being an asian, Im even afraid I might get shot anytime. Seing these events, I've completely changed my mind. And I dont think visiting the US is ever worth it. There are many many better places that I could visit. Like Japan, vietnam etc.
Whenever you see on the western media news ..all based on lies and fake news propaganda spreading by those media who funded brainwashed and paid by western government!
San Francisco set up a drug addiction center “service “ for people smoke , the directions including “Chinese mandarin characters “ , you know what? The named international city New York, San Francisco, Chicago, NO CHINESE broadcasting even Chinese live there for 200 years, meanwhile in China, every subway in every city with English broadcasts and local dialect!
Having just returned from a time in suburban America, I would never chose to live there. It's unbelievable depressing. The ghost malls are 100% accurate. It is a crumbling, sad, aggressive place.
When the 1st time I went to Chengdu and saw the Global Center at the highway. I got a goosebumps. It is literally a human made mountain. Super duper big!
This is what happens in a country where the rich dictates the rules of the "game". The US hardly care what happens to the poor. That's why there are still so many people living below the poverty line. This should not happen in the richest country on the planet.
oh well, an american comedian george carlin already said it to his audience long time ago. i quote his “joke”, “It's a big club, and you ain't in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe.” irony hey, after years of his dismissal, nothing change despite free voting. oh well freedumb i suppose
FORMERLY richest country....China has surpassed it by far. The usa has surpassed the $30,000,000,000,000 debt threshold.. it cant even pay the interest now.... pathetic shithole
The USA is a failed country and will experience a slump in many areas. Currently, there are so many poor people and unemployed people there. But the government there is not able to take care of it properly and well. So shame...😞😠
I miss GuiYang. I am Indonesian born Chinese and My wife is Chinese from GuiYang. We been married for 18 years. Jason please check there is a mall called 万科大都会 in GuiYang Huaxi district where our apartment located. You would not notice anything weird if you come during business time, but if you go there at midnight then you will noticed that most of the store inside this mall don't have any gate, so the shops open all the time and no staff or security present, as an Indonesian I am so amazed. If this was in Indonesia the shops will be emptied in just one night.
Adrian A, if that mall is in the US everything would be emptied within one hour! Well, beside the trash the looters left behind and some of the thieves that got killed or injured since some of them would be fighting each other for the loots!

This video highlighted a few of the problems in America; youths crime, gun violence, drugs. I am deeply concerned with the fact that all these problems also come to Canada. Something has to be done. But politicians and big money don't care.
Something has to be done, you say. The civil war is at the door. That is what has to be done and it will be done! Prepare for it. You deserve it for your ignorance....
Shopping Malls in China are next level... I remember the first time I went to a mall in China, they had a driving track for kids. Years later, and I'm still impressed by the sheer size and the quality of the malls here.
Same impression i had of phillipines when i visited mall of asia there. Its made on reclaimed land from manila bay, and theyre still building! From what i understand from being told by the time theyre done it will become the gaming and gambling Capital of asia, basically the vegas of asia. And seeing as the phillipines has had a decades head start on china in terms of westernization, i believe the malls in the phillipines are same size or even larger than china's. Theres the sms then the Megamalls and now the mall of asia. From my travels i saw an ice rink and a church inside the same mall and it was around 2009. Whole floors are dedicated to just 1 item. Like 1 floor will be all cell phones and related accessories. One will be bags and shoes, or all mens stuff, go up another floor its all womens, then another its all kids stuff ... also, true value hardware was found inside the mall, which is weird because in the usa its usually found outside the mall in its own lot and building...
NATO is an alliance of 29 member states. In addition to the USA and Canada on the American continent, these are numerous European states. All member states together cover an area of 24.57 m km² and about 944.52 m people. This is 16.25% of the world's habitable area and 12.17% of the world's population…… 12.17% have dominated the world in a violent way. -NATO's good days are numbered.
@@Skaven_is_greatest Nato has some similarity to the Nazi is that it invaded Libya under false pretext. Let's not forget about Yugoslavia as well. What the heck is Nato doing in Libya which is not part of Europe and which does not cause any problem in Europe. The only reason I can think of is to bully a small country and take over its resources. First the color revolution was instigated in Libya and then Nato and the US invaded. Libya was once a peaceful and quite prosperous country although ruled by an authoritative Colonel Gaddafi. Nato and the US went in and destroyed the country and it is now in a state where slavery now exists. Imagine having slavery in this time and age. Nato and the US invaded the country not for any altruistic reason but to lay their hands on the natural resources and to get rid of a leader who hated the west. Just like what the west has done in Ukraine in 2014, in Nicaragua, Chile, Cuba, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Hawaii, etc. I lost count of how many countries were invaded and let's not forget China's century of humiliation. So, in a way, Nato is like the Nazi do bear some similarities. Now Nato is agitating for a war with Russia. If they win, China is next on the target list.
@@Skaven_is_greatest NATO or rather the US sponsored a coup in Ukraine and overthrew their elected “pro-Russia” President. And turned the country anti-Russia. Then they offered the puppet state Ukraine a condom... I mean protection.

Thanks, Jason. Great vid as usual. I live in a medium size city in east USA. Malls are dying here. In the last few years, the two major malls here have lost most of the big retailers, Sears, J C Penny, Macy's, Bon-tons, to name just a few. However, gun sales have been soaring since 2020, when the pandemic began. People just don't feel safe anymore. Gun violence is rampant. And people are buying guns in record numbers. Almost Twenty Million (2,000,000) guns were soled to private owners in 2021 in USA. In the Sate of Pennsylvania, over 3211,000 concealed carry weapon permits were issued in 2020, an increase of 25 percent.

In its War on Terror, the US killed almost a million people and destroyed countries leaving more than 30 million as refugees or displacing them. I will love to visit China when the darn pandemic craze is over. Good for you though to have your life in China now. Best Wishes ;)

My view too. U.S. was presented to me during my youth as the Mecca of modernity progress learning intellectual.

One will be bags and shoes, or all mens stuff, go up another floor its all womens, then another its all kids stuff ... also, true value hardware was found inside the mall, which is weird because in the usa its usually found outside the mall in its own lot and building...

However, gun sales have been soaring since 2020, when the pandemic began.

Jason, this visual comparison between the two countries was very effective in making your point, congratulations China, the best comes to those who work hard, thanks, Ali
That little train in the Chinese Mall reminds me of Americas high speed rail got me 🤣🤣
Hahahahahaha 🤣😂
100% truth 😂😂❤️❤️
Ha ha ha, Jason, if you wants us to see every corner of the crazy huge "shopping city", you may need to make another 10 episodes.
I don't mind watching 10 episodes of this 😂
It is. China is changing every year you come there
You can found a lot of these kind shopping malls in four tier one cities and perhaps some in a dozen tier two cities
Yeah, but is he lying though? What he's highlighted is what the whole world sees what's happening in America
@@inkbold8511 我觉得未来几十年中国会把它们复制到周边国家,甚至非洲!
Every word you said.hit the nail on the head! 😂😂
I was in Chengdu in 2018. My tour hotel is about 10 miles from the shopping mall. Couldn't go as the tour ended everyday about 8 or 9 pm. Thus, I have to go back some days!!
Hi Jason wonderful videos and information. Please advice what are the requirements to leave in China I am from Canada. Thank you.
when we back to China for holiday, we always go shopping and dinning outside, the whole China (no matter which city we have been for travel) seems never sleeps, safe and crowded all the time. we have been tirelessly shopping and entertaining. sometimes went to the beautiful countryside with stunning natural views for few days, calming environment and eat some yummy local organic foods (taste so different from city area, ingredients grow from the actual soil). life is so wonderful there. certainly will be back to China when this pandemic finished. Thanks for your video, reminds us the beauty of the motherland.
why do you still live in USA , not going back forever living in China , I wonder
@@thunggiap1806 I am on the same boat as this guy. I am from china grew up in HK , currently living and working in the UK. you want heard about freedom , politics, but our primary reason is the education system there too tough for the children . Long working hours there but the wages is far more and lower tax rate as well. Having said that, we get less income but we can live in a spacious house, kids has less stress from school. It is just personal preference really. We live outside China does not mean we do not like China. We always love China and the country we are . We hope all the western countries can work well with China to bring a even better and brighter planet 🌎
@@thunggiap1806I have never been to US, once want to vist my cousins who lives in US, but never made it.Now I wouldn't dare to go there, not only because their uncontrolled severe outbreak, but also their increasingly hostility towards Asians.
@@wongcna I agree. I may not be a chinese citizen anymore, but still hold heart towards the motherland, as an old saying that people should not forget their root. Every nations and ehnicity has its own unique culture and history, which we should respect and learn from, unfortunately people might not care much nowadays. I don't have hostility towards any country, even though I do admire the contribution of US for the human history, it doesn't mean agree with their geo-political greed now. Due to the arrogance and ignorance of their ruling class, US and its' followers demonize any country that not falling into their control, spread lie and hatred for their own interest, judging anyone like they are the representer of the GOD. Frankly look back into the last 70years history, the answer can be clear if there is no bias. Mutual respect and understaning can bring to harmony, communication is the way to build healthy relationship, cooperation is the key for the peace of the future. Let's still hope.
the mall in 8:06 is so f***ing cool. I bet it's bigger than Marina bays in Singapore. My god you just enter the mall then there are lower levels from where you entered. Not to mention beautiful, if that's an understatement. What's the name of that mall? Wow, it's big. It literally has E V E R Y T H I N G. IT EVEN HAS A FREAKIN AMUSEMENT PARK WTF
@Mikaela Frias Malls like these are pretty normal across Asia. You have theme parks, water parks, ice skating rinks. All pretty normal in Asia now.
I live in Singapore, and that China Mall is waaaay bigger than the mall at Marina Bay.
However, we do have a skating rink within one mall here called JCube.
And have you been to Jewel at Changi? It has 7 cinemas, a canopy walk and other attractions that I forget, and of course, hundreds of shops and eating outlets. But of course, everything is scaled down compared to China. We are just a tiny island.
成都 环球购物中心,世界最大的单体建筑 在成都南边,绕城高速旁边
Haha, although most Chinese also think this is big, they are not surprised because there are so many big shopping malls in China.
@@翔哥吾爱 that shopping mall looks great and I am sure it is amazing but do we need such giant shopping mall!? The amount of electricity consumed from this building would be a criminal for the climate.
Wow, I can't remember the last time I actually went to an indoor mall. We have an outdoor one, but most of the year you're either walking around freezing or walking around sweating. The last indoor mall we had fell into disrepair and there were only (maybe) 5 stores that were still open it the whole building. It closed down soon after. I want to go to that last mall you were in, that looks amazing!
Go to mall of asia or any of the big megamall sm in phillipines. Much much larger than usa malls, even the food court occupies an entire floor, in the basement of glorietta 4 in makati phillipines
I am in the States and I approve this message. Oh, you forgot to mention they can get 20% discount in the jail time if they unfortunately are caught for their 100% discounted LV.
Yes, one can begin to think about how the truth content really is in what our media in the West reports
It is sad to see most of the shops in the video are foreign brands, it shows western firms occupied chines market, but western countries are still bargaining and not satisfied
China is a treasure in the eyes of Western companies and a monster in the eyes of Western politicians.
Earn Chinese money and scold China
@@杨先生-z7u your comment is spot on!
@@arcturus4067 As long as you are strong enough to threaten western (mostly Anglo-Saxon) interests and do not follow their orders, you are a monster in the eyes of politicians. Japan, France, Germany have been manipulated by them, Russia has always been antagonized by them, it is not about institutions, it is about interests.
@@杨先生-z7u you are completely right. American(and other Western) politicians like to spew moral rhetoric about Human Rights, democracy, freedom and all that hubris. All they truly care about is their own interest and global domination. It is unfortunate that many , especially amongst the youths and idealists, still believe this Wester n propaganda . I am ethnic Chinese from southeast Asia and just a few years ago I did believe all these Western rhetoric and would have supported the Taiwanese independence and pro democracy HK protesting blokes. The pandemic and the rise of Trump exposed the hubris of all these moral talk of Western politicians. Opened my eyes. Cheers!
China no. 1 . China live forever
I’m sure not all of American stores are like that right?..…there should be at least one that’s normal….?
Hi Jason! You are incredibly entertaining, interesting & have a great sense of humor. This is the best channel I've ever come across. Keep it up.
Thanks Bro 有意思 for uploading this video. Been ages since I went to China, this 2022 winter Olympics reminds me of my time in Ha er Bin. Maybe some day, you can show us your skiing skills?Yeah God blessed, you seemed so happy in China, its not a matter you got money or not. 😊 Love from Singapore. 😊
You r not American, and you r not Chinese, but you r a British. Love Lincoln more!!! Happy new year of Tiger!

Yeah. And the day after tomorrow what is free to you is free for others 🤣
@88ecl Home Just remember to steal one thing at one time..:). Steal that TV tonight, steal a luxury handbag the next night. Can be kind of like a job..lol. If you need company, i think i probably could join in on the nightly looting spree. Hmm, need a new PC, where is the nearest Microcentre to where i am now..lol
