    STORY TIME! (I hope KG catches wind of this cuz he means a lot to my family)
    My oldest brother Jamell was a ball boy for the Timberwolves back in the day when it use to be KG and marbury in their prime. He use to come home with shoes and all sorts of cool shit players would give him but the one thing he loved the most was just being cool with the players. I remember after he was done working for them a few years later me and my middle brother and cousin were out at the movies seeing Mr Deeds when it came out in theaters and we noticed this long legged ass dude down towards the bottom row but didn’t think nothing of it and when the movie was over he stood up and we were like whoooo the fuck is that tall ass dude then when we followed behind outside into the light we realized it was KG and we told him who our older brother was and he waited for my mom and oldest brother to pull up so he could speak to them and that was one of the coolest things I’ve seen someone do who was a nba player/celebrity. Idk if he still remembers my family but I hope we can run into each other one day so I can tell him how much we always appreciated him over the years.

      @@yahiaali4059 yea I don't doubt you did but 20 years from now... when you talk to the youngsters about the era of NBA you came up on I'm assuming a 98' would look at D Wade, Deron Williams, Kobe, Pierce, KG, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu, Pau Gasol, Melo, Lebron, Kevin Love, CP3, Dwight Howard, Kevin Durant, Brodie, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Marc Gasol, The Klaw, The Beard, The Brow, Blake Griffin, Demar Derozan, Derrick Rose, Kyrie Irving, Paul George, LaMarcus Aldridge, Dame Dolla and all the other stars of the late 00s-mid 2010s as more their era than the stars of the late 90s-mid 00s (A.I, Shaq, Tim Duncan, J. Kidd, T-Mac and them) Obviously names like Dirk, Kobe, Pierce, Tony Parker, Ray Allen, Tim Duncan and even Lebron would appear on an 88's list as well as a 98's list.

    Im a huge KG fan (the kid) I remember when he came in the league and watched him his whole career to me he is underrated for sure. To be mvp and put up the numbers he did in MN with an average at best team just shows his greatness. To me he is one of the best of all time

    “When you play on an NBA team you earned youre position , they give you a jersey, youre given an locker , thats your space!! 💯💯💯”
    Damn i felt that because the NBA isnt for everyone its an exclusive job !

    • @mcq31mc
      @mcq31mc 5 лет назад +8

      @jerry cruz look at the numbers to make into the league. You have better chances of being a powerball winner than first round draft pick. That locker room should be sacred.

    • @TheIcemanthomas
      @TheIcemanthomas 5 лет назад +1

      mcq31mc making it to the league still doesn’t mean you’ve made it. Too many guys get to the league, take it for granted, and lose that space just as fast. Just like powerball winners. Getting there is a big step, but it’s still only the first one.

    • @rotatingcats
      @rotatingcats 5 лет назад +6

      @jerry cruz when he said you earned it he means act like you belong. You earned this shit so go out and show out. You can earn something and lose it. You can also earn something and that means you need to work to keep it. KG saying you earned this shit so own it.

      jerry cruz A person who has been a legit CEO (I.e. an actually successful company) does not go back to the mailroom at a new job. LOL. That’s asinine my friend. If you’re a CEO not only is your field executive management, but you have achieved the highest position in your field. You can rest assured that a person like this will have their pick of high ranking managerial executive positions in their job search and even possibly may end up as a CEO somewhere else immediately-depending on their reasons for leaving the company.
      But you are correct on the first part of your comment about someone earning their spot on a team. But you are also dead wrong about the CEO part haha

    Craziest things about these Mj stories is, everyone talks about prime Jordan and they tell it in complete detail, stories that are at least 20yrs old. That says a lot on how good Mike really was

    I love how when they said “gangsta shit” he’s was like “nah” and then elaborated on what he’s done with the project. Then one more time he was asked “gettin fkd up?” And again, KG goes “na”. And uncut gems was the best. Totally expected a comedy and got this unique thriller. Humble. Amazing. Legend.
