He also recently lost his college coach and mentor which is why he was emotional when his name came up. Coming from someone who has family/friends that know AI but also from someone who is an actual fan of A.I. Sure he drinks but he has always been an emotional person. He took the brunt of most of the criticism, profiling, and hate right in front of us- stood up and still wreaked havoc on the league with high level play. Then outside of “race” he paved a way for smaller guards or smaller players to be dominant in general.
