I have to give massive props to Jamie. Not only is he able to pull off the sweet but slightly creepy Orderly, he's able to switch to the cold and calculated One, AND be really disturbing and sadistic as Vecna. This man has talent for days and he ATE this role up.

So One is the OG born with powers. El’s mom and several of the people involved in the experiments showed signs of psychic abilities. The purpose of the experiments was to replicate One’s abilities and then some to the newborns. Eleven surpassed it by being able to open portals to the upside down that One was never able to do.
no they said in season two, they tested els mom and gave her powers while she was pregnant. then the replicated one and all the subjects. hint why vecna has the power of controlling what people see and mind control. and why all the other kids has one of each of his powers. like 8 only has the power to control what people see.
@@jaide4624 No what? I know all this. The only thing I didn’t specify was that El’s mom and some of the other patients received their powers after the fact but all you did was go into details about the experiments when I already said they were trying to replicate One’s abilities.
@@Lauren-zx3gx you literally said 001 wasn't the only one naturally born with powers becaue El's mom and others showed signs of powers and when Jaide told you that they only acquired powers through the experiments, you said you already knew that and that she was repeating what you said. She was not repeating what you said, her statement contradicts what you said and she was correct.
001 is seemingly the only one who was naturally born with powers (Patient 0). Terry Ives and the other moms were not born with powers, they acquired them through the experimentation that Brenner did and then they were passed to the other children by their mothers and their father, who was likely 001.
To be fair he was plenty out of practice and most likely never got exposure to using such an ability like El did. That was Dr. Brenner's whole shtick with her dealing with the gateway's.
@@zaxbitterzen2178 El didn’t get exposure to it, either. Dr. Brenner didn’t even know Gateways were possible until El formed one against One. Also, considering age, he was no older than El when he was taken to the Lab,or a little later, and was already able to do what many of them couldn’t, only El. So the amount of power between them should’ve been equal based on age. I’m sure One was heavily experimented on upon his discovery and wasn’t made to wear have that chip to suppress his powers until later.
The writers for season 4 were off the hook!!! Insane how they perfectly tied in the whole story
i'll never understand why people don't like robin, hearing people say that "she's annoying" and they always try and compare her and nancy, im like why cant they both be bad a$$. robin is one of my favorite characters now. and the friendship she has with steve is great! she's very sarcastic but she's also supportive of everyone including steve. i also believe steve definitely needed a friend like robin in high school. she's the real one!
I think people say that cause her character went from being cool & collected in season 3 to becoming super anxious and freaking out in season 4. Major character change. I still love her just the same though!
@@4zn4ngelz well to be fair in season 3 she was thinking it was all a game. And then she was kidnapped and drugged and was chased by a giant flesh monster. I think the trauma of all that could kind of knock the cool and collected out of anyone.
Robin is my 4th favorite character after Eleven, Hopper & Max... I love her! And she's so funny! 😊❤

@@4zn4ngelz She also was probably pretending to be that way so she could be friends with Steve and then Dustin she put on a facade to seem "cool" even though her regular self in this season is cool, once you become friends with someone then know them for a few years you see their true selves. You can even see changes in people you become friends with like within a year. Also there's theories out on the internet that she might have ADHD, which if you view it that way it so much more sense. And if someone still tries to say she was different, what if in season 3 she was on medication for it but now that she seen some shit go down with the upsidedown she wants to be at least more aware so she stopped taking them.
The reaction when you guys saw Hopper see Joyce was so adorably romantic. "Sometimes a hug is really therapeutic."
If you re-watch it's said, the kids are born with powers. The mothers have some form of powers to start with, Brenner takes the children from their mothers & then uses experiments to strengthen whatever powers the kids are born with.
no they experiment with the parents and gave them powers first. which is why els mom sister said in the show the doctors ran experiments on her
The experiments in the show are meant to parallel the real-life MK Ultra experiments that happened in the 50s and 60s. Terry Ives didn't have powers to begin with, she acquired powers through the different experiments conducted on her by Brenner and they were passed to Eleven through Terry and her father, who I imagine was 001.

I think all the kids got powers differently. Elevens mum never had powers but due to the experiments on her they unknowingly caused her unborn child to have them.
I could be wrong but I think Kali was kidnapped? So maybe it implies that she was also born like one with no outside influence.
I think there's a strong possibility that some, or even most of the mothers were artificially inseminated with 001's sperm, possibly in addition to the drugs and other experiments. If Brenner wanted to recreate him, why not use the most obvious way?
I also think that people with powers like this had existed throughout history in this world, but 99% of them never had the opportunity or the mindset to learn to use them. 001 just happened to have both. I think his own mother probably had a weaker version of them too, and that's how she knew it was him causing the nightmares.
I keep going over this and I keep getting stuck on how they would guarantee that these kids would be born with powers. I think there’s a good possibility that they used One’s DNA to create 11 and the rest of them. Like the doctors could have impregnated the women with him to give them abilities which would make One El’s dad. I can’t imagine that they got that lucky having found so many special kids around the same ages at one unless they made sure it happened.

The gate Eleven opened when she banished Henry was different than the gate she opened in season 1. If you look when the camera is zooming in it's already starting to close.
right exactly... baby 11 put 001 in the upside down in 1979 and then in 1983 when season 1 eleven touched the demagorgon in the void during "testing" she screamed while in the tank and that energy split the wall open creating the portal for the second time and that was the day the upside down froze in time also same day will went missing 👍👍
Right, it's way more similar to how she banished the Demogorgon at the ending of season one, instead of opening a gate just directly transport them to the other dimension.

Best episode of the entire series in my opinion, you guys are so lucky that you didn’t have to wait another month for the last 2 episodes to drop. Can’t wait for the next 2 reactions.
Side note: 34:28 - The gate that Eleven opened through 001 wasn’t the gate that let the Upside Down come into the real world. That was just the first gate that was ever opened. She opened the main gate in Season 1 when she was in her mind and then she saw the Demogorgon and touched it which allowed the main gate to open which was in the lab.
No that gate closed up again the other one is when eleven screamed in the tube thing in season 1

LOL when this episode aired I feel like a lot of people were able to make some connections between Henry, 001, and Vecna but I didn't see people connect all of them that often. There were some people who did but I know for me I figured that Henry was 001 as soon as I heard that Henry went into a coma. I thought Vecna was legit some sort of demon or something. I am wondering how Henry got his powers though since whenever he uses them there's this eldritch sound like ancient powers. I also saw an interesting but unsettling theory that 001 is 11's dad since he'd be about 24 when she was born and her mother was involved with some weird "hippy" program like her El's aunt said. It could make sense why her powers are so strong, maybe the lab got tired of trying to create a Henry. But then again there were 18 kids confirmed so 7 more after 11.

I don't really like the idea of Steve and Nancy getting back together. Mostly because I just want Steve to move on and be happy. Let's not forget that Nancy willingly left Steve in Season 2, so I just don't want to see Steve waiting on one girl for the rest of his life, that's just my opinion tho.
@Payton Yeah, I agree. Not that there isn't anything wrong with not knowing what you want to do with your life as a young adult like Steve, but it doesn't really fit with Nancy's character.

Loved your reaction and I love this episode! So many reveals. Figuring out that he was 001 was crazy but then finding out that he was also Henry and Vecna was absolutely insane. Jamie Campbell Bower (Vecna) did such a good job 🔥, phenomenal actor. As the orderly, he always seemed strange but you never really thought he was Henry/001/Vecna. Amazing episode! The next two episodes are also super great, especially the finale, mindblowing! Can't wait for the rest of your reactions! Stranger Things really is THAT show! ❤

I love that Vecna/001's motivations stem from him basically being a born 'psychopath' who's never cared about people/his own family and has no remorse for even the kids who had powers like him. His family moved to Hawkins for a 'fresh start' likely because Henry was showing traits of antisocial disorder. But he displays the makings of a serial killer in the flashbacks when he kills animals, and he only likes spiders bc he relates to the feeling of superiority over his own kind, just like them. He's a good foil to Eleven who's trying to fit in with regular society after having been raised in isolation and grown to think that she's a bad person bc of her powers.

Fun fact: as of this episode, officially there's no character who appeared in all episodes of the show. Mike is the only character who appeared in all episodes before this one and this episode was the 1st episode where he didn't appear
the great thing about this episode is that at some point many people realised either one or two twists (like who is One, who is Vecna or who is Viktor) and very little amount of people figured out all 3 twists, so it was mind-blowing and extremely well executed. I figured only One and Vecna connection, but Viktor really just flew over my head, so I was sitting with my mouth vide open. It was such a perfect reveal
Finally got to watch this reaction. The last 2 episodes are next level with the intensity. They really bring it in the final 2 episodes.

I don’t care what anyone says, your reactions are exactly what they’re supposed to be….real. You can see Miles realization about 001, Cameron getting so hype hoping the orderly (before we knew he was 001) has powers, Davion completely not dealing with the fact that if he is 001, that that twist is too massive and basically, holy shit and Nathan just sat on the end like, “the dudes 001”. When 001 revealed his powers, this is the exact reason I’m subscribed to Just Us because this is the real reaction content I’m here for.

Idk why there are so many Stancy Haters when the actors have hinted for years that Stancy wasn’t done yet. They’ve BEEN telling us! Y’all fail to realize that BOTH Steve AND Nancy have grown as people and can be a better couple if they get back together. Ya need to back up off of Erica! She is a child and stood up in the town hall by herself and called BS on what Jason was saying about The Hellfire Club. I would have said the same about the couch is on fire. She has a different perspective. Up until that point she wasn't running with the gang, she was with the parents, left out of all the action. And she didn't say anything revealing. She is a very courageous young girl who is crazy smart and super sassy! And she is the baby of the group. Protect a sister, dang! Next, I think Papa survived because Vecna wanted him to survive. Think on that one a min..... Whatever Papa extracted from 001 & then put into El's Mom, remember she was pregnant with El at the time. That may be why El is so strong..... I think this demigorgon was so savage is cuz he has been in captivity. Starved, tortured, experiment on, also they have a hive mind, which we know from last season (hospital scenes), he is probably stronger cuz Vecna is stronger. Okay I gotta say, I could see the wheels turning in Myles' brain when he realized who Venca did the killing at Hawkins Labs. No one ever thinks about the way they were killed. El doesn't do all the snap/crackle/pop. El will just snap a neck and keep it movin! This was an incredible reaction!!! Thank You! Now I'm gonna rewatch it.🎃

Steve is literally the more interesting character and has the better relationships on the show. Steve is literally a top 5 character and he’s in my top 2, he’s behind Hopper for me. As much as I like Jonathan, you can’t say Jonathan is a top 5 character. That’s just facts 💯
I don't know if it's just me but love the rare times that Nathan's cat shows
when the first volume of this season came out I watched it in my room at 3 am as soon as it came out and binge watched the whole thing until about 7-8 in the morning when I was done. then I did the same thing for the second volume when that came out. I truly had to wait a full MONTH when this shit came out. there wasn’t a second in a day I wasn’t thinking about this show. it’s truly phenomenal. I was sobbing and screaming and pacing around my room ESPECIALLY at the last 2 episodes. when I saw episode 7 the way I screamed “the duffer brothers are fucking geniuses” at the top of my lungs. I sobbed during the last episode especially and I can’t wait for your reactions!

i love that you guys figured out the same way i did lol, its a pet peeve of mine when ppl try to figure something out BEFORE its revealed, not only are you ruining your own surprise and genuine reaction, but if the show/movie itself is not calling for it or purposely leading up to a big reveal and leaving hints for you to figure things out, just let the movie ride and you get surprised when its time. I was 100% shook, I knew Henry was weird but I would've never made the connection of him to 001 or Vecna to 001. It was all done so well 💕
So much fun watching you figure it all out! Btw I'm pretty sure all the kids were born with these powers and were 'collected' by papa. He didn't give them the powers.
It's not copies of 1. They're recreating 1, trying to make new children with powers, children they can control
I mean, technically, they probably are copies, in a way. You need two sets of DNA to make a child. We know who her mother is, we don't know who her father is. In order to maximize the childrens' power capacity, it makes sense that they used 001's DNA.

When I first watched that scene between One And Eleven I didn't really trust him either and thought something was off and for sure knew he was One at that point because why else would he have a tracker but I always analyzed every show Show I watched and would put pieces together but I'm impressed Nathan figured it out. You guys are Awesome!!!!
El may feel guilty for opening the gate from another dimension that bought all this catastrophe and chaos and all those deaths and injuries but as a child she thought she was getting rid of a monster and needed to dispose of him, she didn't know what the outcome would be. So it wasnt her fault poor girl....
That’s not the gate from season 1 after El threw him to the upside down it closed again,if you remember the gate opened in season one when El made contact with the demogorgan.
One said "the doctor I hoped to escape" so he already met Doctor Brenner before. He also said that his Mom knew that I wasn't the demon that Victor thought it was. Maybe she brought him to Doctor Brenner before and that's why he hates her so much. Maybe she knew about his powers and that's also the reason he killed her first

you guys thought of number 1 much faster than me hahahahahahah i just realized that it could be him when he attacks the guards, THAT WAS AMAZING, I CAN REMEMBER THE OUTBREAK THAT WAS WATCHING, VECNA IS A FANTASTIC VILLAIN
I Loved how everything comes full circle in this episode. I Loved the backstory of Henry/Vecna/One and that this child was pure evil and killed his family like a regular 6 year old Michael Meyers, his childhoods similar to his. Then He got sent to the Lab and Dr. Brenner said One was dangerous and Eleven had to relive her traumatic past memories in order to get her powers back and she trusts this man that uses her and it turns out its him and so she can feel relieved that she didn't kill all her brothers and sisters excluding 8 because she felt guilty for that ever since she remembered bits and pieces of that dark memory in her subconscious. She was younger when that all happened. I Loved how they pieced it all together scene by scene with Nancy seeing Henrys childhood while 1 was manipulating Eleven to take his tracker out to set him free and finding out that he's evil and she needs to kill him for murdering all the children. And thats how the gate opened and he burned up and everything. It was just so well thought of. Each story point connected to the next and brought all the Seasons together cause obviously 1 was controlling those things from the Upside Down the Demigorgon, the mind flayer. It all makes sense now. I Loved how everything tied together. The Duffer Brothers are pure Geniuses!!!!

There's a scene in season 3 with Billy Max and Eleven. Come back to rewatch that scene after this I'm pretty sure (many people think the same) that Vecna/One was literally in Billy's body speaking through him in that scene. The duffer's minds are AWESOME

Everything really is Brenner’s fault.
Henry would’ve still ended up a killer but because Brenner put the kids in the lab in this situation, it’s all his fault.
Fr the upside down would've never existed in their universe without him. But Henry would've have been a real problem
In a way he did a good thing by chipping him - however, you could also choose not to experiment on kids and just put him in prison, with the chip.
Brenner is such a complicated character. He's neither a villain or a hero but he has moments of both. He did truly love Eleven and all the other kids.... he thought he was doing what was best. But he also needed to control them... they really were his experiments, lab rats. He didn't see them as real people. I could expand on this, but I don't want to say too much until they have watched the last two episodes. We learn so much more about Brenner in those.

I absolutely LOVE how this series and especially this season manages to create comedy and funny moments among all the darkness. The main genres are thriller mystery sci-fi and horror among others but still Stranger Things gave me many good laughs especially at the beginning/middle of season 4. Mostly because of Argil, Gathen and Murray but others as well.
And not to forget Eddie funny dude and Robin
omg miles is so smart!! when i first watched it i didn’t catch onto that 001 was vecna until he was explaining it to eleven
when i watched this episode, i kept rolling my eyes at the whole stancy moments, like the writers gave steve a character development after his breakup with nancy, just for them to have him miss and flirt with her. team stancy til the day i die, i dont care. nancy and steve can be friends but the thought of them getting back together after all nancy and jonathan went through to finally be a couple, it will piss me off. also massive props to jamie, he plays his character so well!!!
Why would you be pissed off when the actors literally hinted years ago that stancy wasn’t done yet 😭💀 they’ve been telling us. Plus did you really think Nancy is gonna wanna stay with Jon after he lied to her about the school thing? You’re acting as if Steve and Nancy can’t BOTH have character development and get back together as BETTER PEOPLE. Some people grow when they’re apart and eventually find their way back to each other. It’s just life 🤷🏻♀️

Yay Nathans kitty made another Appearance on Just Us. I had a cat just like that named Allison. She was my oldest cat Sassys daughter who was also a grey tabby like her other daughter Baby Marie who was a cute long hair but Ali was more a short hair and looked just like that and had more blonde than the other two. Sassy was my baby. She was my most precious animal who I lost in 2017. The worst part is she died during Christmas time, it was like 2 days before Christmas. I will always love her. Nathans cat reminds me of Allison and Sassy because Sassy was always so needy and jumped on me always needing attention and she somehow burrowed herself underneath without me waking up and slept right under my head so in the morning I wake up using her as a pillow. She Loved her momma 💕 My tuxedo black and white 12 year old cat I currently have is Sassys Grandson aka Allison's son the last survivor in the Family Left I Love him and my other cat 🐈 is an orange tabby he's a little brat sometimes but he's so cute and I still love him. ❤
