The thing that I hate most about this is that Ellen was one of the main people to spread the whole “Taylor Swift only dates guys to write songs about them after they break up” or the whole “Taylor Swift is dating every guy she’s pictured with, but she can’t keep a man”.
Ellen perpetuated so much of the misogynistic talk on Taylor even from when she was a teenager. It’s sad

You guys Ellen was truly cruel to Taylor. At the beginning of the video, Taylor is just a baby. Even though it's funny. She really messed with Taylor's head. I think Ellen truly enjoyed making Taylor feel so uncomfortable. And it was her people who kept sending Taylor to Ellen's show. That's why Ellen's show is no longer around. Taylor didn't want to continue to go on Ellen because of how mean she was to Taylor.
I am pretty sure if Taylor didn't like Ellen even only a little bit, that she wouldn't want her in YNTCD video, Taylor wants to work with people she likes and enjoys working with, if Ellen wasn't that, I am sure she wouldn't ask her.

@@adabadoskova2915 That video was loaded with stars. And let's face it, that's the least Ellen could do. She's almost made Taylor cry on several occasions. But TS is a class act. And I didn't mean that Ellen's show was canceled because of TS. I meant because it came out just how truly toxic and mean Ellen was to staff and guests.
@@roxannehill3600 Yeah I understood what you ment what got Ellen's show canceled, and I didn't say that I don't think Ellen wasn't super rude toher, because she was, I'm just saying that Taylor still takes her friendly otherwise she wouldn't want her in the video. I am sure that every other cameo in that video is a person that Taylor likes or likes working with or enjoys their presence
@@adabadoskova2915 yeah, i don’t think she hates ellen, obviously what she did was (??) but Taylor is such an amazing human being that she doesn't have any hurts, that's why she has already called her to be part of several projects, but it doesn't change the fact that she was cruel and clueless several times :/ Deep down, I think she believes that Ellen can change and get better with these things.
Guts Taylor was so young there. 15 years ago. If you want to see her last time on Ellen, 2019, she was 29. “Taylor Swift Full Interview with Ellen”. It shows her humor. The beginning of the interview Ellen puts together a montage of clips of Taylor. The interview is nice and more recent stuff. She’s funny.

There was one show, where Ellen scared Taylor in the bathroom and Taylor fell down. There was also a show where Taylor and Zac Efron were guests, and there was a song they sang for Ellen to the tune of Pumped Up Kicks by Foster and the People. It is too cute.
Yeah, Ellen sometimes really crosses the line, but somehow Taylor still managed to be friends with her. Ellen visited Taylor at her 1989 Tour and few years later Taylor asked Ellen to be in her You Need To Calm Down video, which was already in era when Taylor owned her music and wasn't under Big Machine Records who would want her to do something which she didn't want to do, which means that it was probably genuine and I think that they are on good terms with each other despite all that mess in the first third of Taylor's career.
And especially in the beginning of her career, Ellen wasn't the only one who made her uncomfortbale, like Ellen is harsh, but almost everyone basically asked her the same questions, almost everybody made her uncomfortable. This wasn't about her love life, but once in a radio interview, I think in late 2009, Taylor even left the phone and let her publicist or someone deal with the interviewer because he asked again and again about the Kayne VMA situation even tho she told him several times that she doesn't want to speak about it. When you're this young in a industry like this, they just want to take advantage of you, because you're easy target.
That’s how Ellen always has been. Even other famous people have said she crosses the line
watching this interview even back then as a casual fan of taylor, it made me so uncomfortable because she was actually crossing the line with this but honestly, kudos to taylor for handling this quite well because if that were me, i'd just walk out or say nothing lol

It’s so uncomfortable to watch but I feel like Taylor handles it well. I don’t like how pushy Ellen is and I wouldn’t respond nearly as gracefully. 😂

I think a lot of the stuff on Ellen is staged. Same with most of these types of shows. The guest knows the questions beforehand. That has to be the case otherwise there will be a ton of far more awkward situations on the show that is not funny (whereas this is "funny awkwardness"). Ellen doesn't do the same thing when it's an "untrained" celebrity like an athlete that shows up on the show after winning a competition (athlete isn't a trained actor or media person, and obviously don't have time to prep if they are doing a media circuit after winning a Super bowl or something). Considering how many times Taylor returned to Ellen, Taylor is definite fine with it and most likely in on it too. Very little is left up to chance in the entertainment industry.
