This was my first time in the Philippines at New Years,I'm from Canada and I've never seen anything like this in my life. OMG it was fun !! This is happening across the nation in every single neighborhood. Most fun I've ever had at New Years !! One giant block party across the nation !!
CNN and BBC MUST MAKE A SPECIAL COVERAGE FOR THIS!!! It's always New Year fireworks displays in New York, Sydney, Australia, Dubai, Hong Kong, but THIS is completely unique! Ah yes. I'm Filipino and I join in the thousands lighting fireworks and firecrackers to greet the New Year.
It's their money. Hard earned and they can do whatever they like about their spendings. You can give up your possessions and give it to the poor no one will bat an eye. You have to understand that this simple luxury means so much for them
nah, NYE only happens once every year, that's the only day all Filipinos regardless of age...rich or poor, get to really celebrate...if you don't have food to eat that's on you. If you ask nicely, u might get invited inside a household to eat instead.

It's turn into a warzone, in a good way ❤
If only the money spent in fireworks could be used and given out as food items, there will be less hungry and more happy people at the start of 2024!
You cannot decide for what they would do to their money, its their money after all,
