    Awesome video! I love using both the weld on 3, still have to learn how to control how much comes out of the nozzle & the gorilla gel glue.

    So informative! I get so overwhelmed with all the different adhesives out there. Like you I’m more of an acrylic girl. I have the 3M and love it. I just ordered the Weld On stuff (thanks to your link) and can’t wait to try it on box joints. Looking forward to more videos!

      Thank you! I basically took the month of May off - more on the way soon! I'm definitely going to be releasing more Acrylic videos - it is my fave!

    This is very helpful! I was wondering if any of these would work to glue clear acrylic to wood without it showing through. Thanks for the video!

      Clear is the toughest of all - and clear to anything fully flat can really give you trouble. I'd say 3M for that application and just really try to get all those bubbles out as best as you can when putting it on. Most of the other options will be hazy.

    Doesn’t the 3M have pvc in the plastic? Which when meted put of toxic gas I thought?

    Which Adhesive is your FAVORITE?? I'm very partial to the Loctite, but don't think I could do very well without the 3M tape...

    Thank you for this video. I'm brand new to Glowforge. I just saw the "dream" key chain on this video. How do you add the glitter and is the word dream made out of acrylic? thank you.

      That’s actually a Glitter flaked acrylic! So the glitter is already in there - I’ll post a link to it when I can

    Hi so is the E600 dry clear? Is it good to bong wood to acrylic?

    • @ThingsKatieMakes
      @ThingsKatieMakes  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes - dries clear - depends on your color of acrylic!

      I wouldn’t say it is great for clear - clear is tough, you’ll want something super strong and minimal

    I tried the 3M tonight and it was so weird! It kind of melted and made the sides of my laser cut wood sticky. Any tips?

      Hi - which way did you have the 3M in the laser? Facing up or down?

      @@jxssicameyer so if I’m cutting with 3M, I often will place the 3M side up and mirror my design. I’ve never had glue go anywhere but in place though, no melting issues. Amanda from Cerulean Tides acrylic is kind of an expert on 3M, I’ll see
      If she has any ideas
