I always feel bad when I turn the tank light on on the morning and my loaches scatter swim into each wall 5x each before they're safe slide under their rocks😅

I've been keeping kuhlis for over 20 years. They need a soft/smooth substrate. Very social and thrive in larger groups.

They are amazing fish! And totally agree, once I upgrade, I will have an army 😎 I would love to try and breed them.

I used to think the khuli and the dojo were the same as a kid. I mean they're both loaches but the dojos are humongous compared to these cute little clownies.

Absolute dream fish! It'll probably be a few years before I set up my next tank (bit burnt out from fish TB) but when I do, kuhlis are near the top of the list.
Thanks for sharing these awesome creatures and their behavior!

Absolutely, snails do just fine in cold water, Kuhli loaches are tropical fish so will need a heater in the tank
