Thanks Christopher! If you can do it. Nothing else has come close to this adventure. It did actually have 240K views on Vimeo before they removed it (music licensing issue).
What a great video! I love your choices of background music- they really add to the sense of wilderness and give the video a vast, empty feeling. Well done.
What a well put together video! I love stumbling across stuff like this on RUclips. No pretense, just an honest document of experience. This is what the internet was supposed to be (and was for the most part when RUclips started.) Thanks so much.
Great video but the comment about the only national park that doesn’t have any roads or infrastructure is not true. There are several in Alaska , Kobuk valley National Park being one
You guys have the proper positive survival attitude. No crying and complaining about hardships and relying on yourself and each other to push through. True Americans.
Great video guys, very professional! l watched it in my ultra-wide monitor (21:9) so 1:1 ratio 🤩 What a wonderful experience! l really want to go and visit that area (l love Arctic regions), but maybe in winter. Let's see what life has in store for me. Thanks for sharing, ATB!
Thanks, definitely an amazing experience. If you’re looking for more videos from the same area. Look up Justin Dennis on Vimeo (my brother). He went back 2 more times after this trip.
Awesome video, hopefully more people can see it in the future. I saw the comment that vimeo deleted the original. Too bad but it looks like you had fun going there!
Amazing adventure, mate! Fascinating to me how vast and empty that part of the country is. You might find caves or waterfalls up there that few if any humans have ever laid eyes on
Real sweet. A tase of the Brooks. If only they would eliminate the eco-music so we could hear the sounds they heard and not the bs background music. I always wanted to see the Range, but I don't have the experience to do the trek so the scenery was a treat.
@@BrewmasterEZ Was going to say, why the hell would you carry that insanely heavy long gun if you're not hunting?! Stupid amount of gear, and apparently none of the right stuff that would've helped.
I’d say personal preference. It was actually easy to travel with. Could be considered a hassle to pack and take on the trip. Bear spray would be fine. Firearm also could be used in a survival situation. Plenty of grizzly bears and wolves up there but usually just run off.
There were definitely places that were worse than others. We were there during a little bit of a heat wave so they weren’t very bad. My brother did two more trips to other river in Gates of the Arctic and both those trip he experienced more rain and a lot more mosquitoes. If you go pack a mosquito net.
"only way to get there" is, and always will be, hyperbole. People say this because they can't imagine actually having to walk, or ride a beast of burden, cross country anymore.
Surprised this video doesn’t have thousands of views! Amazing video and definitely on the bucket list.

I'm SO happy that this is available again!!!

I'll never forget it. Counting the days until I can bring my 3 boys there.

Great job capturing the trip! And good edit :)
Great video
Hi and thanks for sharing. Whats the name of the lake you have been dropped? Nice job guys. Tommy
so pretty, gotta try this. nice video!
Fantastic video
great video. curious why the rifle? seems a grizzly pepper spray canister or big hand gun would have been more convenient.
All that wet clothing could have been prevented simply by bringing a couple of big garbage bags
Wow this is really well made! Would love to get here one day.
I would love this park, if only o was comfortable with camping!
Amazing video! Thanks!
Amazing is all I can say.
This is incredible!
Some day when we I have the money, I'll go there, too.
Great video! Hopefully you’ll make another adventure trips like this. I’ll have to snag a few ideas on how to make my videos better from this banger!
Great video! Looks like a blast. What river were you on?
This video was in vimeo before..
Is it ok If I use clips of this in my video about the park? Thank you!
This is amazing!
Very nice video
Love the video! It has become my getaway from daily life.
Q: what is the intro song that plays the first 30 seconds or so?
Thanks! The song is: Intro - The XX
Amazing video and place!
Did you guys see any bears ?
Yes, a few Grizzly Bears and a Black Wolf which I thought was a bear at first. It was really big.
Eric Dennis amazing ! 🤙
amazing
Did you guys pack bear spray? Just curious
We did. My brother went back two more times and left the gun behind and just brought the spray.
@@BrewmasterEZ Was going to say, why the hell would you carry that insanely heavy long gun if you're not hunting?! Stupid amount of gear, and apparently none of the right stuff that would've helped.
Any [articular resource you used to plan the trip?
Lol, Kobuk Valley just west of this park also has no roads or access bro, its even more secluded.
Make a video about it bro.
What were the dates of your trip? Nicely put together film, very enjoyable!
This was in August 2010 or 2011. It's been awhile so I can't exactly remember the dates.
Go back to producing Eric. Amazing video.
I'm moving there.
you bois love drama, eh ?!
Was packing a firearm worth the trouble
I’d say personal preference. It was actually easy to travel with. Could be considered a hassle to pack and take on the trip. Bear spray would be fine. Firearm also could be used in a survival situation. Plenty of grizzly bears and wolves up there but usually just run off.
No mosquitoes or other insects!

I was eager to see some scenes od one of the most beautiful parks I ever visited and for half the time I saw only the faces of some posers. 🤮
Popping audio
"only way to get there" is, and always will be, hyperbole.
People say this because they can't imagine actually having to walk, or ride a beast of burden, cross country anymore.
Boring!
Amazing video!
