In the episode where Snowball II and the other cats die, Lisa outright says "I guess you're right, Principal Tanzarian". It's hard to say at this point what's canon and what's not since it's such a long running show with writer's picking what stories they want to follow.
To this day I still consider it stupid as hell that Chalmers, a man who has only known how to be an educator turned super intendant, beat Skinner, a well-skilled Vietnam vet who happened to have been a Green Beret, in a fight. 😑
to be fair Skinner is so terrified of Chalmers and wants his approval so badly he probably wouldn’t be willing to use the full extent of his skill-lest Chalmers punish him for it.
The real Skinner - the character who I think Batman, Superman, Spider-Man and even Steven Universe would be totally OK with him seeking a vengeance for everyone banishing him for an imposter, starting with his mother.
The Simpsons really does operatør by comic book timeline rules, eh? I mean non-connor mainline episodes is the pinicle of comicbook-timeline shenanigans!

Armen Tamzarian and Seymour Skinner could’ve been brothers.

That would make a great Halloween special!

Wasn't that episode retconned?
They referenced it years later. ruclips.net/video/6rxdhKRODLw/видео.html
1:54 that’s not Skinner’s father, that’s younger Chalmers. You can tell by the nose.
First!
