Snowball 2 is my favorite character in The Simpsons and the citizens have been on the air, for over 30 years now and not once they had an episode or snowball was the leading character and they gave Santa through the helper a handful of episodes when it's about him, there's no other character in The Simpsons that deserves more to have their own episode then snowball 2.

Simpsons just such a strange anomaly to me. The beginning of the show, the early seasons, are some of the best things to have been on TV, heartfelt, funny, creative and endearing. But the older the series got, the more it lost all its charm and just became a soulless entity.

Another comment. It's surprising to notice how deep Patty's contrast is with Selma- if you pay close attention, Selma on her own is incapable of disciplining Bart and Lisa. Selma requires Patty in order to do so! Notice at the end of Goo Goo Gai Pan, Selma actually wanted to spoil Ling. I am led to believe the reason Selma tigerparents Ling is because of Patty! She is not emotionally-driven like Selma and holds strict guidelines. It actually is not a surprise to see Patty was the one that kept true to her word on quitting smoking, takes martial arts, and ballet after seeing this.

Maybe Marge should have divorced Homer and married Ned Flanders as he's an opposite to Homer who is friendly, kind, caring, always helping around the house, help the kids with their homework and get involve some family activity. While Homer is rude, selfish, lazy and would rather be at Moe's, drink beer and watching TV then get involve some family activity or help round the house for Marge. But this is just my opinion because there's no way the writers and producer would ever allow this ideas to happen anyway unless this is a dream/nightmare episodes or in a christmas special from a wonderful life version.

I do love Marge's new hair-style as it really suit her a lot better than her old hair in the Series.

Despite all of Patty's flaws, I think it's super noteworthy that Patty does one thing for Selma that Selma is incapable of: "throwing away her last chance at happiness." Patty gave up romance despite her love with Skinner, all for Selma. Selma has left Patty many times for marriage- Sideshow Bob, Troy, and later Abraham Simpson, Disco Stu, and Fit Tony. Unlike Selma, Patty's selfishness ultimately lies with her bond with Selma- Selma's selfishness lies in finding romance and having a family. Even though Patty disregards Selma all the time and constantly fights with her (to the point of even Modern Simpsons Homer feeling sorry for Selma because of Patty), the two hold a deep bond and can't seem to function without each other (Puffless). The earlier seasons would give a more relatable, realistic dynamic of relationships- Patty and Selma didn't hate Homer for no reason, they hated him for being incompetent, making poor financial decisions, being a drunk, and always causing Marge to cry towards them when troubled by Homer opposed to newer seasons. The two were upset at Homer for causing trouble. But, The Simpsons made Patty eviler post-season 8. Despite how Patty is depicted as the eviler and trouble-causing of the two twins, she isn't necessarily heartless as even Marge's mother believes. If you pay attention closely, she is seen playfully hugging and pinching Bart/Lisa very early on and babysits them. While she is ultimately the one creating havoc with the Simpsons household, Patty isn't entirely a demon- she's also jealous of Marge and Homer because they hold what she does not.
