Hats off to the sheer amount of effort that must've gone into researching this! It must've been no easy task to bring together the floating, bizarre 34-year timelines of the Simpsons, but Lydia was up to the task.
I love Maggie's future as the ultimate pop singer, but let's be honest she always was awesome to begin with. Plus Bart graduating Law School makes sense, he thwarted the plans of Bob, Jack Lassen, Cecil, Mr Burns "See my vest," and Jimbo, Dolph, and Kearny, "so, why steal the yogurt?" Lisa.🙂👍❤

I’d like to mention something about Dolph, Jimbo, and Kearney: They only died in Bart’s fake reality. And considering Milhouse was never truly cured of Zombie-ism, plus we see Kearney delivering Maggie to the hospital to deliver her baby, we can say that the 3 bullies never ACTUALLY died.
The future Simpsons is cool and all, I would rather see the Simpsons past, so much cooler seeing all the adults younger, seeing their parents or relatives or relationships start blossom etc....... If Sheldon off big bang did it The Rock did it Why not the Simpsons ? Simpsons did it Simpsons did it
I don't know why, but there's something about Maggie's not-ending that just gets me squarely right in all of the emotions. It's not like the montage leading up to it doesn't have some issues, poor Smithers especially, but that's all forgotten and totally forgiven, as that final bit is just utterly perfect. One of my single favourite Simpsons moments, and I don't just mean modern Simpsons when I say that, but all of it.
Since Edna was still around alone in the future....either she faked her death to avoid something, she was cloned. Either way, it will be great to link it somehow.
Whilst I'm sad that Apu left the show, I can at least hope he's still going about his life: working at the Kwik-E-Mart, playing with his children and engaging and partying with Sanjay. We may never see him again, but maybe he's just doing what he always does behind the view of the camera.

"Sideshow Bob may not be alone forever" So, I have a little to add to this: In holidays of future past, when Bart goes looking for Homer, we see that Moe's bar has become basically an unalive people's hub for the Town of Springfield. Several characters and items have chalk outlines on the floor, including Sideshow Bob and a rake. I think it's entirely possible the lighthouse keeper wife left him at some point, causing Bob to go to Moe's Tavern for a drink as he couldn't stand the loneliness anymore. He had too much, and as he went to go, stepped on the rake that ultimately ended up unaliving him.
I loved this video. When the Simpsons ends, I think the final season should be the characters aging up. Just a whole season of this video! It could start with Frink inventing cloning, Flander's clones end up murdering the cloned women of Springfield (that's how he ends up with the wall of dead wives). Moe gets a clone. Then the machine breaks and only works for Ralph and Homer.
I think really this was an idea I had when I thought about trying to bring one of Universal's older properties from the 1980s (Back To The Future Especially) back into the present time. Where every 20 films or so new characters would appear in the same series the original characters once did in movies 1-20. So in my head every ten to twenty seasons or every twenty films there should be new characters to take the spot of the older characters from the original show, in the new season once the old characters retire or become background characters or cameos but not the main focus of films 21 to 40.
Ned Flanders a ''black widow'' that's quite scary. Marries them, bumps them off and gain thier inheritance. It could explain how he is well off, everything is perfect and able to do everything for everyone. Maybe Maude wasn't the first...and maybe he knew what Homer would do with the T-shirts, which is why they sat at the back and the timing and what not. He has worked with the Mob, his connections run tight and if he has said that if anyone upsets him, he would run him down. He maybe 'Mr Perfect' but he sure has a dark streak to him and tries to console himself with religion and being nice to those who need it, but deals with nightmares and bad parents. I must say. It is all coming out with Flanders here. I never thought of the fact that he murdured his wives for money.
Doesn't Moe get a happy ending with Maya though? While none of the episodes in the future show it, its a new change and I think it deserves a place in his timeline because it was a massive story arch for Moe

I think Super Nintendo Chalmers “stem attack” is them saying he had a “STEMI”. “STEMI” is a heart attack and means “ST Elevated Myocardial Infarction”. It’s the only real world explanation I can think of for “stem attack” that makes any sense. Unless he got some sort of stem cell treatment that went horribly wrong and the Stem Cells turned on him or something lol.
You forgot Larry Burns, Montgomery's long lost son. When old Monty was young, he seduced the daughter of his old girlfriend & Larry was the result. Larry was briefly Homer's co-worker at the power plant.

Nice video Lydia. If your interested my favorite futuristic episodes are future drama and holidays of future passed. I consider those 2 episodes to be the cannon ending to the whole show. Sometimes I just watch some classic episodes like say seasons 1-12 and then I skip ahead to those 2 episodes and think of them both as a final wrap up. At least that's what I like to do.🙂

I feel bad for Moe, like he's been alone most of if not his entire life leading up to when he gets a clone of himself to keep him company. I have a feeling that if I ever live to see the creation of clones that I'll end up just like him. Though given my current physical/mental state, my family genetic history, and the state of the world right now, I can't tell what will kill me first:

Nice video Lydia. If your interested my favorite futuristic episodes are future drama and holidays of future passed. I consider those 2 episodes to be the cannon ending to the whole show. Sometimes I just watch some classic episodes like say seasons 1-12 and then I skip ahead to those 2 episodes and think of them both as a final wrap up. At least that's what I like to do.🙂

The Simpsons was so much fun back in the 1990s. Now that they're bringing back shows like Futurama and Clone High, maybe it's time to bring back the Simpsons, too. I wonder what all those old voice actors have been doing for the last 30 years ...
I wouldn't worry about it too much, since they're always the lore into something. Interesting though. Maggie and Gerald? Never saw that coming. Lisa Simpson as President, Cletus as Vice president and Bart as chief justice of the courts. That's quite a trio. I wonder how the country will look after having to raise taxes to give money back to countries. I must say. I am pretty sure Bart would somehow abuse his position somehow and get revenge on his enemies... or relax the laws he wants. Being a prankster, he would do crazy things just to scare the country.
