      Chris buck, the most humble player, by far one of the best players today. He will be legendary. His playing is haunting, and naturally beautiful to the ears.

    I met Chris at Guitar Summit in Mannheim. I didn’t know him before.
    It was this guy at PJ Eggle‘s Guitar stand, I was checking out some guitars and all of a sudden he started playing, silently. I thought, omg, this dude is way too good to be a firm representative.
    Next day I say him on the big stage and absolutely blew my mind. On the same stage with Gilberts, the same guy from Eggle‘s stand is getting the Strat from Thomas Blug and plays like he’s from another dimension.
    First thing when I arrived in the hotel I checked him out online. Being a fan since then.

    Truly amazing sense of rythm, uses silence instead of just adding more notes. So tasteful, really inspiring

    He did explain the playing approach very well. i heard similar approach from joe satriani and john mayer. vocal like playing and vertical approach.

      The Handwerker Hi, Kris here! Chris (Buck) uses Ernie Ball 11 gauge strings and I use Fender Vintage Nickel 10 gauge (for E standard tuning).
