@@alexmaldonado7521you got to pay to play just the like the trucks they go on. Your truck costs 100k or more, it’s not that crazy for a lifetime guarantee product 🤷🏻♂️
I Love mine. if I need more hauling space? I use a U-Haul trailer for anything large or tall. Great tonneau cover. Pricey but you get what you pay for!
I have a question for you guys I have the same truck cover it’s brand new 1 month old and it rained today for a couple hours and all of my kids baseball equipment got wet in the. Back of my truck I regret buying this truck cover what can I do to stop the water from getting in the back ?
Having a tough time deciding between the mx and xr rails. For only roughly $120 more should I just get the xr rails and have em in case I wanna add on later? I just prefer the flushed look of the mx rails more.
No my buddy ended up selling it as is. He got it for free and had the guy drop it off at my place but wasn't too interested in working on it or putting money into it
We’re about to install this cover on a F150 and curious, can you open the canister top to add a bead of silicone to the inside of the cap? An inside bead is always the best solution for water leaks.
I guess to favor more cab space that consumers want. Doesn't seem like most people even use their trucks for work anymore. Rich actually has a second truck that he uses for all of his work.
I agree with you that it wastes a ton of space. I wouldn't put one on my own truck for that reason. Although it definitely provides more security. Harder to get into and is a theft deterrent just by looks as well. A pickup truck bed 5 finger shopper is more likely to have a pocket knife versus a pry bar handy
*** Warning if you have RAMBOXES! *** After seeing and experiencing the full installation of this cover on a rambox truck... I cannot recommend it if you plan to actually use the rails like I did. The whole system relies on 6 tiny screws (3 per side) into flimsy sheet metal to support the entire system along the bed sides of the truck. NO WAY it can support any meaningful amount of weight In a safe manner. I have a detailed video of how this cover isnsupposed to install onto a rambox truck if you are interested. Retrax customer support does not have any answer to its design flaws yet. I am still waiting aoting for a follow up from them. UPDATE 04/17/23 : I received a reply from the retrax engineers. They insist it is rated at the same weight capacity as any of their covers, but do not have any answer as to the design flaws related to the mounting system and how it cannot carry a load without a downward shift! They have stated that they will work on making changes for future applications when they have time... So for now. Buyer beware!
Miller's galore. My man.
Loving the golf clubs and Miller Lite storage space. 😎

Great to hear you find the video useful. Thank you. Good luck on the install
Holy christ on the price.....never mind lol....I got the pocket stakes tho 🤣😂🤣😂

Looks like adding a bead to the inside by extending the entire cover before installing the rail system. So we’ll give that a try.
Why do so many people have issues with retrax leaking and warranty ?

Thank you for the video guys! sorry about the f... mosquito
Stooge? Looking to buy one for mine so how is that dam thing?
Thank you so much for showing how to install. Written instructions didn't make sense
No problem! Glad the video helped out

How is it holding up now, after 2 years? Will you do a follow up video and share the pros & cons please.
So the cargo management system works without adjustments?
Did you ever make a vid on that forklift?
No my buddy ended up selling it as is. He got it for free and had the guy drop it off at my place but wasn't too interested in working on it or putting money into it
Will this cover work with a bed tent like the napier?
Love your install video. Is it possible to notch-out part of the side rails to fit trucks with Sports Bar and still work properly. Thanks 😊👍
Does the remote release on the fob still working or yoy have to use your hands to open the tailgate?
what is the link to the black square caps for the top sides of the truck bed?

Well worth the 100 buck my dealer charged to install it !
Great video. Did a bead of silicone along the canister ends fix the water leak? Thanks.
Thanks. And yes that did help out but it's still not entirely waterproof. I suppose it's not really designed to be

You got the tslot, gonna get the accessory rails?
How does the cover perform in bed and/or truck flexing?
And it looks great 😊
Being metal, does it rattle at all?
Good video. My main question was does it fit with the Mopar cargo rails. Looks like it! How many beer job?
Thanks I'm glad the video help dancer your question. I would call it a 2 beer job
Why did they start making truck beds so short?

We😊
How long did it take to install this bed cover?
I would say a couple hours. But that was with shooting a video
Why I don't like the New 1500's they all have those super short beds - Mine is a 17 and it has a 6.5' Bed and that's almost to small for real work
Yeah I agree with you. Wouldn't work for me
I have the new style 2019 1500 Crew Cab with the 6'4" bed.
Nice Vid. thanks
Thanks Lamont
Sloodge?
Yea sloodge
How long did it take?
I would say average installation probably take about an hour
Makes the bed useless compared to a roll up style and provides no extra security if I want in I take a pry bar to the edges on the sides of the bed.

More weight more gas but then again it may be worth it!
Ive seen other videos that have seen 1-2 mpg gas savings because of aerodynamics but who knows.
@@paulythapitbull9658 I purchased it sometime ago and I still get 20 mpg.
Sweeeeet ram
So much for security if all it takes to open it, is to jump on it.

6.4 in bed
Didn't show rail install...Honda ridgeline install rails first...
👍
Dont buy it. Mine is leaking bad from the canister… it’s brand new
Yeah I don't think they really designed to be watertight
